1 Park near Youngstown, New York

We used this as a base for seeing Niagara Falls. About 25 minutes North of the falls, this 300-site campground had very nice electrical sites for our RV with a view of Lake Ontario. Roads are well paved and our site was quite level. The electricity was good also. Poor Verizon cell coverage (1 bar). You MUST back-in to all sites. Some of the Premium campsites along the water would be great for trailers with large rear windows. Motorhomes, with their best view out the front windshield, are best across the road from a premium site. - AndersonFamily

Nice campground with large sites with a picnic table and fire pit. As others have stated, it can be difficult to level on several sites. Our neighbor's site is so unlevel that everyone who has ever had that site parks 30' away from the electric pole and has to have a lo-o-o-ng cord. Some sites are shady and some sunny. As others have mentioned, there are water spigots throughout the park but some are difficult to reach from the road. The road from Niagara Falls to the park is 'disgraceful' as one of the Park Rangers called it. Every joint in the cement is loose and pitted. That said, we would return to the park. The positives out weigh the negatives - if you can get the right site.
We had no trouble with out Verizon coverage. - swike

As others have posted, the biggest problem was uneven sites. I have no levelers and use boards instead. It took one layer of boards under two tires and two layers under a third tire to get my motorhome even somewhat level. A new layer of gravel would help as ruts and low spots have developed in some sites. Another problem was that the water spigots were spread around the campground, so you had to find one on the right side of the road, pull over, get your hose out and fill up. The one I used first took 25' plus 10' of water hose to reach my motorhome since the spigot was so far back from the road. A couple of water fill sites with pull-down hoses would have been very handy. Also, I had expected a little view of Lake Ontario from my premium site across the road from the lake, but trees resulted in only a tiny peek between trees. - judy_online
