Oceanside park located a short ways off the Trans Canada Highway. There are a number (about 100) of semi-serviced sites, as well as non-serviced and tent sites. The beach area sites are more "open style" while sites in the woods, but adjacent the ocean offer more privacy. Staff are attentive and willing to offer up help and advice. They also keep close watch on vehicles entering and leaving the park which is great for security. There are limited essentials to purchase at the kiosk, however groceries and fuel are available a few minutes away in nearby communities. Sites and grounds were clean however some fire pits could use replacing. There is a fantastic beach that the whole family enjoyed. There is a small playground and large grassy field, but for the most part, the beach and a bucket kept our daughter (and us) engaged for hours. We camped at Bellevue Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Bellevue Beach is a hidden jewel among Newfoundland camp grounds. For the nature lover Bellevue offers a spectacular beach and walking trail for long relaxing strolls. An abundance of wildlife from birds to whales depending on the time of year. Breathtaking scenery and friendly people. All the sites have power and water and generally you can choose between a site at beach level or one on the ridge in the shelter and shade of the trees. Very family friendly and relaxing we have been camping there for years and look forward to next season. We camped at Bellevue Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

My family went to Bellevue Beach for a Canada day weekend 5 years ago and we never left. We became seasonal campers because of the beautiful campsites and the fantastic staff. The couple who takes care of the place are so helpful and kind to our children and they have become like family to us.

We spend our days on the beach exploring the tidal pools for sea creatures and having a lunch over a beach fire. Our children love when the Caplin roll and watching the bald eagles. It is a quiet family park due to good management.

The owners have recently added new equipment to the playground but have left a huge open field so kids can play soccer and baseball or just be kids. They also have planned weekend activities for the children if they wish to participate.

We will continue to stay at Bellevue Beach as long as they'll have us. We camped at Bellevue Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Bathrooms which you have to pay $3 to use smell really moldy, had to get out as quick as possible. Only one washer and dryer. Have to check in and out with someone lowering a rope every time you want to leave and return to your site. Couple of swings for kids but overall not much for them to do only play on the beach, which stinks after the caplin have "rolled". Not impressed, will not be returning. We camped at Bellevue Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here as a base camp to see Cape St. Mary's Sea Bird Colony. There is an odd (but in a good way) mix of people including refinery type workers and upscale motorhomes. The manager is a friendly character who loves American History (Wyatt Erp is one of his heroes); if Faulty Towers were a campground, we arrived. He patrols and keeps a close eye on security. The best sites are near the beach. Clean showers with a restroom cost $3; otherwise you use pit toilets (argh!). Pit toilets were clean, but it's early in the year. There was a pay phone (no WiFi). You can walk the trail along beach, which goes out for miles. Sea breeze kept the insects at bay. We saw a bald eagle along the beach. We camped at Bellevue Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Access road from Trans Canada highway fairly rough. Site assigned a gravel back-in and level. Great view of the bay. Trail along the sandspit causeway. We camped at Bellevue Beach Campground in a Motorhome.
