This is a small Park in a beautiful setting. The new owner is working from sunup to sunset to improve the facilities. The owner is friendly and interesting to chat with. We stayed three nights and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The 50 amp service was good. The women's shower/ washroom was under renovation but quite usable. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this park again. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Fair place to stay in Bonavista. There are not many choices. Level 50 amp and water back in grass/gravel sites. 50 amp is a plus. The owner just added it. Water was iffy so did not use. Nice dump available. Right on a pond and the highway. No WIFI. Owner said " you want 50 amp or WIFI?" so probably not coming soon! Would stay again. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Trinity has an outdoor walking theater on Wednesdays and Saturdays that is quite unique. The actors tell the history of Newfoundland at various historic sites throughout town and the audience walks from site to site. A MUST!

This park is undergoing major improvements by the current owner. No, there was no wifi or potable water but sometimes it's not all about you. Sometimes it's giving back something to someone who is making a major investment in time and money to make this a great park. The owner was really nice and chatted about his plans for length of time, was in the process of putting in new showers, counters and toilets in the bathrooms. The internal roads were quite bumpy with pot holes and could stand a grading. I would highly recommend staying at this park. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Sea of Whales Adventures is the best zodiac boat tour around. In Bonavista you can visit the lighthouse and Dungeons Prov. park.

We enjoyed our stay.

Lots had sunny/open exposures. Sites were gravel and featured a fire ring. Had strong 50amp power.

The staff was attentive to our needs. We were with a 20 rig RV caravan. They cooked moose burgers for the guys while the ladies went into town for tea & pie. The next night they fried cod caught that day by some of our fellow RV'ers. I would recommend this park & come back. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Of all the parks we have stayed in we have never felt more welcome and at home-partly due to the park itself and partly due to the owner and his partner. The park overlooks a beautiful small and natural lake which is ideal for exploring by canoe or kayak. While it is within minutes of attractions and services, there is no other deveopment near the park. It is very quiet. The sites are either gravelled, with grass surrounding, or are totally grassed. 2016 is only the second year of operation under the present owner and he has made significant investment in improvements already, with more to come. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Difficult review for me here. The campground itself is in a beautiful setting, quiet, on a lake, we could here the loons calling. The new owner has been here 2 years, and is slowly making improvements. This campground is used by caravans, so improvements to the electric and making the sites available to big rigs number one concern. There is no office, the sign says pick a site and the owner will come to your site, we were there 2 nights before we saw him. The bathhouse was clean, but smelled foul, we did not use it. The water was non-portable, don't know if boiling would make it drinkable. No wifi, didn't try for antenna TV. This is a wide open pasture area, with sites being somewhat level. Gravel entry road is very bumpy. This could be a very nice park, we will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Closest shopping and restaurants were in Bonavista, about 20 minutes away. The Lighthouse has great views, the road to the Dungeon Provincial Park, was a wonderful drive through open pasture. The little restaurant on way to the lighthouse, was good for ice cream and a quick snack.

We had a very enjoyable stay here in large part due to the competence of the new owner. He visits each site with information about the area and is amazingly helpful. Gravel road in the campground is in fair condition. Area is grassy and open. Some sites have 30 amp. New owner is working to update. No Wi-Fi. Go to the inn in town, no password needed. I would stay here again. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

This park does need updating. It has a new owner this year. He has many new plans for updating. Very cooperative. Stayed here with a caravan so rate is an estimate. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate quoted is for no services, $4 less than full service per night. We boondocked in the field at this RV park as it was already full with a RV tour when we showed up. It's beside the highway but not much traffic, sign is right at the entrance to the park, not before. Sites are in a big circle and quite close together. Owner has been there for years and it shows. The park is old, rundown and appears that the whole place has been Rube Goldberg-ed together. We wouldn't stay here again, period. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park to use for a base while exploring the Bonavista area. All sites are back ins and some are level and some are not. Generally, you may choose your own site. Electric and water service only - dump station is in a very convenient location. Road into the park could use some gravel, but there had been a lot of rain right before our stay. The owners are on site and they make campers feel really welcome. They provide maps of the area and information on interesting things to do, good restaurants, and where to go to get wifi. We love this park and will always stay here when visiting Newfoundland. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

A very basic park with extremely steep sites on one side. We had to play around with the front jacks a lot, to get the rig level front-to-back. Almost needed a 4 x 4 to pull the rig out of the site! Agree with other posts on friendly hosts, and general ambience: rustic! The name must reflect the owners feeling they get when they tote up the season's take. Stay a night and experience a farm, masquerading as an RV park. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I rated this park high because although the facilities are fairly basic, the owners make you feel so welcome. They were very friendly and forthcoming with all kinds of information. We had a lot of fun in our conversations with them. The park is also close to Bonavista, and to Trinity. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Basic campground in a quiet and convenient location with a pretty lake and paddle boats for rent. The owner Chris spent an hour with us after we arrived to brief us on local highlights, directions and things to do - couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. Well worth a few days to tour the Bonavista and Trinity Bay areas. We camped at Paradise Farm Trailer Park in a Motorhome.
