Provincial park that is not maintained apparently. Rough/sharp gravel 6 km access road - do NOT take a large unit in here! Surprised to find multiple seasonal (or longer) 5th wheels/trailers in the parking area - likely crowded on weekends (we were there mid-week). Free to use, but high chance of tire damage getting in or out. Few nice tent sites on the knoll overlooking the harbor. There is an outhouse, but did not investigate. Easier places to boondock than here! That said, the area was clean, and there are trash cans that do appear to be emptied fairly regularly, none were full. No actual sites, just a gravel parking lot. No cell service at all at the "camping" area. We camped at Chance Cove Provincial Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $1.00
This park does not have regular provincial park sites. A parking lot @ the end of a 6 km gravel and rock road can be used for self contained RV's. It has pit toilets and picnic tables and access to the cove. The only really good part about the facility is it is free! We camped at Chance Cove Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.
