1 Park near Doyles, Newfoundland
Sep 2015 - $24.00
Make this park your first stop after the ferry from Nova Scotia or the night before leaving Newfoundland. It is well managed, clean, and the host is very friendly and helpful. Sites are gravel, level, back-in, and quite spacious. There is a very nice craft market located in the park with all locally handmade products. Multiple WiFi antennas throughout park, but we could not connect to any of them. We're thinking it was our equipment, not necessarily a park problem. This is a caravan park, so make reservations if you plan to stay during the busy season. No problem this time of year (mid-September). - DiplomatTraveler
Jul 2015 - $30.00
Wide gravel roads are easy to navigate with our 37' MH, and the grassy area surrounded by trees gives a park-like feel. Our site, with its gravel parking pad, picnic table, and trash can, was nice and level, though there wasn't any extra room once we extended slides on both sides, and no separation from nearby campers on three sides. We connected to the convenient 30 amp and water hookups; there was no sewer at the site, so we dumped on the way out.
WiFi was out initially, but the host graciously restarted it at my request and thereafter it was available, though a bit spotty and not terribly fast. We did not use the available bathrooms or laundry.
We felt this park was a bargain at the price, especially given all the pretty vistas a short drive away in the surrounding area. - DaveInOhio

About 1/2 hour north of ferry terminal at Port aux Basques. Spent 2 nights to get caught up after traveling for several days and the 6 hour ferry trip. FHU, pet friendly, free firewood (except it was raining so much we didn't bother with a fire!). WiFi issue at this time - obviously set up for full park coverage - they were in process of fixing it. Still able to get acceptable signal and get done what we needed! Planning to stay again prior to departure from Newfoundland. - Loggenrock
