1 Park near Port Au Choix, Newfoundland
Jul 2015 - $30.00
I can't believe there were only 4 other campers here (2 RV 2 tent). Sites are level and face the Gulf of St. Lawrence. There are about 20 water/electric backin sites and about 20 un-serviced sites. There is a dumping facility. And, the Wi-Fi is free AND good (at least from my site, #10).
The only negative is that it seems the "locals" like to cruise through the park to see who is there.
BTW...cash only! - itchyfeetx2
Aug 2014 - $30.00
Back your rig into one of their 28 level sites with nothing but the gulf of the St Lawrence in front of you. Besides a spectacular view, each site comes with electric/water, a picnic table and firepit ($30). Can't recall whether it is $15 or $20 for tents and dry camping. There is a dump station with black tank hose on site. The washrooms, with free hot showers, are clean. There is no laundry or recycling. Cell phone service and Wi-Fi (only in the office) are available. As the general public has access to the area on which the campground is located, you might want to consider not leaving valuables in plain view when not at your site.
The National Historic site is an easy bike ride from the campground and was our preferred way of touring the site. - driftdiver1

I would hardly call this a park. Simply a line of back-in hookups so each site faces the ocean, situated on the high beach below the Lions Club building. Not staffed and pretty austere, especially on a foggy, rainy day. We had a reservation without any confirmations, so we just drove on by. Not a place for us. - The Red Goose
