This cozy, quaint, small (7 site) campground is a blast to the past. Easily accommodates any Class B or C campers that are 24' or less and tents. Sites have good water, 15 amp electric and a dump station is available. It is next to a road but traffic noise is not an issue at night. Adequate bathhouse is available for those that require it. Camp store and small cafe on site staffed by very friendly hosts. Would stay here again when exploring the Trinity, Port Rexton, Old Bonaventure area. We camped at Trinity Cabins Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Trinity - avoid when all the bus people are there. Dockside Restaurant rude staff actually turned us away at lunchtime because we weren't part of a bus group. Rising Tide Theatre - excellent theatrical presentations. For something different see "West Moon" a haunting historic tale of Newfoundland - outstanding! The Galley on Rt. 230 has excellent home cooking. Hike the famous Skerwink Trail - 5.3 km trail - but not for the faint of heart. Take water and snacks. Spectacular!

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $23.00

I am posting this review even though we didn't stay here. The reasons we didn't stay are, there was only 15 amp available, there are 6 sites that are available, you must back in from the busy street, down a curving slope into the site. You do hear the traffic from that busy street. We were informed the women's bath house was not working, and there was a boil water order in effect. No sewer. Positives, being close to Trinity and close to the nice lake. So if you have a small trailer (>24 ft.), a truck camper, van or tent, this would be OK. We camped at Trinity Cabins Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small modest older park tied to a historic little cabin resort dating to the 1940s. Offers the basics for a stay while visiting nearby town of Trinity. The owners are gems, very friendly and welcoming, based at their little cafe office a short walk along the road from the campsites. There they serve coffee, scoop ice cream, offer hot dogs, etc in a friendly atmosphere where you can sit at a table for a good Wi-Fi signal. Can only handle RV or trailer up to about 26 feet. Bathrooms had toilet, sink shower and there were three...one each of men, women's and handicapped unisex. Felt like we had landed in the 1950s except for the Wi-Fi! Very pleasant stay. We camped at Trinity Cabins Trailer Park in a Motorhome.
