This is our first stay at this campground. We have a 35' travel trailer with slides and they only have a dozen sites for overnight guests. Keep in mind, this park rather large and has a lot of sites with all of them being permanent. Out of those few overnight sites, our rig could only fit in a few of them. They have overflow sites near the front gate which is in field with no shade would fit our camper along with the five sites on top of the hill also with no shade. The sites near the pool are really for smaller rigs except for the last three sites on the end of the row but the problem is it's very tight trying to do a 3-point turn backing into those sites which are at an angle. We got site B22 ( FHU ) which is located at the top of the hill and it's shaded. It's shared with B21 and both are pull-thrus. The campground is set up on a hill so the main road is steep so be prepared for that. The campground is gated with card access so that's nice for late night access. We camped here for 8 nights and took advantage of the Sunday thru Thursday special that included 2 pool passes. The pool is awesome with a rope, diving board, zero entry for the little ones and a slide. The overall campground is well kept, clean and very quite in the upper part. The sites next to the pool will be noisy since they play music all day long and the general noise from the pool play. The pool has a snack bar with hot food at affordable prices. The staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. Overall, we plan to come back. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Travel Trailer.

Let me start by saying this appears to be a campground built beside a humongous pool. The campground is mostly permanent sites but there are about a dozen short stay sites. The pool has a slide and rope swing and is open to the public. Both the public and the campers have to pay to use it. The "A" sites back up to a nice small stream and have a view of a waterfall (the dam at the end of the lake). A5 through A10 are decent sized. The others are small sites. We stayed in site A6. It had the potential to be a nice site, but the very busy pool was just on the other side of the stream and they blast music all day long. There is also non-stop golf cart traffic. We were also under a poplar tree which dropped sap like crazy on the trailer and truck. The pool is only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day so if we ever go back it will be when the pool is closed (probably in the fall of the year). If you want an awesome pool and are willing to pay for it then this may be just the ticket for you though. This place is just too loud and wild for us. We have been going to Homeplace Park for many years mainly because it was local to us. This is the second time we have camped in the camp ground and we really enjoy the environment inside of the campground. All the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly to all the campers. The weekend we were there they had a very large gathering there and the staff was able to accommodate everyone and make sure that the grounds were kept in excellent condition. We camped in a 30 foot TT and had no problems getting in or out great power water in sewer are in good locations. Site was a little uu-level but was an easy fix with a couple of blocks. I would recommend this place to anyone. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Travel Trailer.

The park staff were friendly and helpful. The campground was tidy and well maintained with lot of well used amenities. The pool is enormous and obviously attracts lots of people since it has a large slide and swing dropping into the deep end. Definitely a kid friendly campground. The park seems to foster a lot of interaction between campers. The site we stayed in was B37 and was located in a the field area. Access for our tent trailer was easy and there were much larger RVers around us so I know that motorhomes and fifth wheelers were able to enter and exit. The field area did not have a tree anywhere for shade. We would have preferred a little shade but the temperatures were not unusually warm so it was still a pleasant stay. Other amenities to note. Fishing pond/lake, bike and walking trails, multiple playgrounds, tent sides on pond waterfront, arcade, church services and more. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Tent Trailer.

Excellent family camping. The pool is a great benefit for kids with its diving boards, rope swing and water slide. It does get crowded during school breaks and weekends but they have camper only swims from 7 to 9pm on Fri and Sat. Every site has a fire ring and most sites are level. This is the second time we have returned here. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Tent Trailer.

When we arrived at around 6 PM and no one was in the office. Called the number and they said our name was on the site and I could pay the next day. Had made reservations, our site had been switched. On the third day I called the number again and had to set up a time to meet someone at the office to pay for my stay. In my opinion, this is no way to run a campground. The site we had was terrible to get into and then had to raise one side almost a foot to get it level. Other than that, it was an okay park. Nice little stream and they had bingo on Saturday nite. The pool was green. This is a good sam park. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.
