This is a family friendly campground with plenty of things to enjoy. Everyone was friendly and our kids especially enjoyed the large community pool. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Tent Trailer.Undo

We have been going to Homeplace Park for many years mainly because it was local to us. This is the second time we have camped in the camp ground and we really enjoy the environment inside of the campground. All the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly to all the campers. The weekend we were there they had a very large gathering there and the staff was able to accommodate everyone and make sure that the grounds were kept in excellent condition. We camped in a 30 foot TT and had no problems getting in or out great power water in sewer are in good locations. Site was a little uu-level but was an easy fix with a couple of blocks. I would recommend this place to anyone. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Travel Trailer.Undo

The park staff were friendly and helpful. The campground was tidy and well maintained with lot of well used amenities. The pool is enormous and obviously attracts lots of people since it has a large slide and swing dropping into the deep end. Definitely a kid friendly campground. The park seems to foster a lot of interaction between campers. The site we stayed in was B37 and was located in a the field area. Access for our tent trailer was easy and there were much larger RVers around us so I know that motorhomes and fifth wheelers were able to enter and exit. The field area did not have a tree anywhere for shade. We would have preferred a little shade but the temperatures were not unusually warm so it was still a pleasant stay. Other amenities to note. Fishing pond/lake, bike and walking trails, multiple playgrounds, tent sides on pond waterfront, arcade, church services and more. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Tent Trailer.Undo

Excellent family camping. The pool is a great benefit for kids with its diving boards, rope swing and water slide. It does get crowded during school breaks and weekends but they have camper only swims from 7 to 9pm on Fri and Sat. Every site has a fire ring and most sites are level. This is the second time we have returned here. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Tent Trailer.Undo

When we arrived at around 6 PM and no one was in the office. Called the number and they said our name was on the site and I could pay the next day. Had made reservations, our site had been switched. On the third day I called the number again and had to set up a time to meet someone at the office to pay for my stay. In my opinion, this is no way to run a campground. The site we had was terrible to get into and then had to raise one side almost a foot to get it level. Other than that, it was an okay park. Nice little stream and they had bingo on Saturday nite. The pool was green. This is a good sam park. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Homeplace is a nice campground. It has a large pool with a big slide, but it was closed
when we were there. They play bingo every Friday night. The campsites are very reasonable in price. There is a pond that it dammed up so you can go fishing and then there is a nice little stream running through the campground and some sites are backed right up to the stream. Overall, a nice campground. We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice campground close to Mt. Airy (Mayberry), Pilot Mountain, etc. Very large campground with a really nice pool and pond. Pool has waterslides and rope swings. It's pretty far off the interstate and not on a really good road for a motorhome,
but it's doable. MANY seasonal campers. In fact, most of the campground is completely full of seasonal campers with built on decks, gazebos, etc. It's very clean and well run and they have a number of non-seasonal campsites for short stays. Gated access (with card). We camped at Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. in a Motorhome.
