1 Park near Avon, North Carolina
May 2016 - $32.00
Check in was fast and friendly, cash only, we used PA. We were here the first week of May, CG was not full yet. The sites are level with a mix of gravel and grass, the grounds are nicely kept up. They have metered electric, I did not use my AC and paid around $12 for 8 days. The wifi worked well, the cable tv was excellent.
We did not use any facilities or the laundry. The few seasonal units that are here are very well kept up and not an eye sore like in many other CGs.
They have several free roaming cats to keep the dogs on their toes. I will definitely come stay here again.
Restaurants in the area are very nice. - Diablo

This campground was a great place to stay while exploring the Outer Banks. Sites were level and had ample space between each other. Sites had full-hook ups with your choice of 30 or 50 amp. Sewer was toward the rear of the trailer, but the owner came right over and literally lengthened the sewer connection to fit our rig. It appears the owner, Ms. Gracie, can do about anything that needs to be done onsite. Some trees and shrubs made this a pretty park feel very private. Everyone was incredibly friendly. We would most definitely stay here again and again. - the Fishers

I didn't realize this was a Passport America camp. My bad. But then again, the camp's website doesn't mention it either. It would have gotten another star or two for the added value. Our site was tight with trees touching on both sides. Sewer connection was more than 20 feet away. Baths are dilapidated with no heat and sometimes no TP! No lights outside, so bring a flashlight. Mostly fishermen and surfers. - TBBGII
