We stayed here on a 4 day weekend in early October. Every weekend of October has Halloween celebrations - be ready for lots of kids trick or treating. This is a very kid oriented park. Lots for children to do activity wise. We arrived on Thursday and had the camp mostly to ourselves but it was packed for the weekend. Many campers had golf carts in frequent use. The pools were clean and the water park play area well kept. The park is about an hour from Myrtle Beach - lots of things to see and do in surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again in off season and school in session. The sites are somewhat close but plenty of room to extend awnings and set out chairs. Had a level concrete pad for our trailer. No problems with noisy neighbors and "quiet time" was quiet. Cable tv worked well and no issues with wifi. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding area. - dtbriz

We had a great time and a great RV Resort. They have an awesome water park for the kids and 2 other pools including 1 indoors. Everyday they have activities for the kids to do. They even had a surprised birthday for Yogi Bear. The park is very clean and front office very accommodating. The family fished is the very large lake and we met new friends. We booked 2 weeks for next year. - todao772662

Beautiful resort CG. Concrete pad extra long spaces. When arriving at night had to use a flashlight to find our site due to the fact there were no outside lights. Being out of season sparsely populated. Scenic site facing the large pond. This CG is spotless. Nice scenic area to walk and bike ride on very long paths. Small dog park, fence is not 100% secure as the bottom is not in the ground. Two pools and a splash pool. Great to bring the kids who would love the playground. Definitely a destination CG. We only stayed one night as we had reservations in another city but if not for that we would have stayed longer. Staff was helpful to arrange and accommodate our late arrival. IMPORTANT POINT: Put in RICHARD WRIGHT Road in your GPS. We carelessly put in Wright and there is a Wright road also and had to backtrack. l - Sunnie-Wheelhouse

The roads into the park and in the park are good. We arrived on a Sunday and, even though the office was closed, we were given a friendly greeting and check in was fast. This is a large, well maintained park. A number of permanent/seasonal but all are kept up well. Sites are gravel with a mulch cover for the table area. There is a picnic table and fire ring and trees for shade. Site 78 is a level pull through with full hook ups. No issues with hook ups. It was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. There is a pool and playground, a stocked fishing pond and vineyards. There are two trails; one is a little overgrown. The best dog park we have encountered, fenced with lots and lots of trees. Laundry and bathrooms were very clean. WiFi was good and Verizon signal strong. We do not watch TV so can't comment on that. We stayed May 6 - 13, 2018 and paid $40 a night - BarrettsHappyTrails

My wife and I have stayed at this park three times and are planning to go back next month. It is such a pleasant, quite place. It is basically an RV park carved out of a beautiful pine forest. My only small complaint is that I wish the roads in the park were wider as well as more space in the turns. It sometimes takes a little planning to make sure that you can clear the trees and get out without hitting something. The first time I ended up disconnecting the toad to get out. - jseltz

One of the best parks I have stayed in. All large pull through sites. Very well spaced. Owner is extremely helpful. Suggested areas to travel to as well as local restaurants. Stayed on my way to FL and again on my way back. Little of the beaten track but a great place for a few days or a few weeks. - BlueBoy

This is one of our top two RV resorts we have stayed at, and we have stayed at over 75 RV resorts. The streets are all paved as well as the RV spots, and the pull thrus are very long, and you could park your 42' 5th wheel and your 22' long truck on each end and still have plenty of room. Plus there are lots of trees, and there is grass between spots and the spots are very far apart. Plus each spot has a 20 x 20' concrete patio with picnic table fire ring and BBQ. The lake and the pool and office buildings all look excellent. There is absolutely no traffic noise etc. I could not give this place a 9.6 so I gave it a 10. The wifi was a little spotty but good when it was working. That is the only thing I could think of to knock it off from being a solid 10. We were in Site # 31. We went to Myrtle Beach and did the Boardwalk. We also went to Sunset Beach in NC. We also went to a real fun winery that has lots of live entertainment called La Belle Aime. - Vipermanden

This park, in my opinion, is one of the best parks we have stayed in. The check-in is quick and efficient. The pool and lake area are both top notch. The bath house is excellent with individual locking bath/shower rooms. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, we rented a beach house in Garden City Beach, SC... We stored our trailer on site, they moved our trailer to their storage area and moved it back when we returned for a $1.50 per day in storage. Hard to beat that service. - ANDYO1

Love this park! Stayed for a week in June and the back in lakefront site was fantastic. It was huge. Plenty of grassy area for our grandkids to play. Would recommend this park to anyone. - Martinutter
