Beautiful resort CG. Concrete pad extra long spaces. When arriving at night had to use a flashlight to find our site due to the fact there were no outside lights. Being out of season sparsely populated. Scenic site facing the large pond. This CG is spotless. Nice scenic area to walk and bike ride on very long paths. Small dog park, fence is not 100% secure as the bottom is not in the ground. Two pools and a splash pool. Great to bring the kids who would love the playground. Definitely a destination CG. We only stayed one night as we had reservations in another city but if not for that we would have stayed longer. Staff was helpful to arrange and accommodate our late arrival. IMPORTANT POINT: Put in RICHARD WRIGHT Road in your GPS. We carelessly put in Wright and there is a Wright road also and had to backtrack. l - Sunnie-Wheelhouse

Great place to stay but a little pricey for me. Everything was kept clean and grass mowed. Our trash was picked up every day. Hook-ups were easy and placed in good spot. - dakota ev

I have only great things to say about Daddy Joe's. We had a ton of fun here over Labor Day weekend. We were supposed to arrive on Friday but tropical storm Hermine delayed our arrival until Saturday, as was the case with numerous guests. Daddy Joe graciously extended Monday's checkout time until 5:00 to make up for it. Wow! That really meant a lot for them to ensure their guests' satisfaction, especially since we didn't ask or expect it!
There's seriously so much to do here. Water attractions, basketball, mini golf, so many stocked ponds for fishing, a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices, planned activities for the kids, an ice creamery, a gift shop/camp store and more!
Our sites (38 & 39) were nicely spaced with concrete pads and a well maintained yard. No shade (there are shaded sites as you enter the park but they're further away from the amenities) so we caught the afternoon/evening sun on the patio side. But with our screen shade we were quite comfortable with low humidity & mid 80 degree temps.
We're planning a group trip for Memorial Day 2017 with RV friends and will be staying in one of the quad sites (so cool!) and others that will be staying in the tent sites and cabins. It's so awesome to have found a place that keeps the kids so busy and has accommodations for us and all our friends!!
Daddy Joe's is my new favorite! They really know what it takes to plan and maintain a campground to make for a positive camping experience!! - LynchPartyof8

My wife and I have stayed at this park three times and are planning to go back next month. It is such a pleasant, quite place. It is basically an RV park carved out of a beautiful pine forest. My only small complaint is that I wish the roads in the park were wider as well as more space in the turns. It sometimes takes a little planning to make sure that you can clear the trees and get out without hitting something. The first time I ended up disconnecting the toad to get out. - jseltz

One of the best parks I have stayed in. All large pull through sites. Very well spaced. Owner is extremely helpful. Suggested areas to travel to as well as local restaurants. Stayed on my way to FL and again on my way back. Little of the beaten track but a great place for a few days or a few weeks. - BlueBoy
Apr 2017 - $10.00
The $10 price reflects C2C. This family owned campground a few miles south of Tabor City, is a must. Full hookups with pull thru sites. This campground is nestled in the heart of tobacco farmland. This was one of the most peaceful and quiet campgrounds we have ever stayed in. We are definitely going back. - TheBounders

For the Myrtle Beach Area, you cannot beat Willow Tree. It is a breath of fresh air, lots are huge, park is excellent, privacy is tops. Book early and Book often, you will love it! - GA-RVers
Mar 2018 - $29.00
A beautiful campground with large well-spaced sites; one of the nicer commercial campgrounds that we have stayed at. We particularly enjoyed our lake front site and the mile long walking trail that circles the lake. A very peaceful and relaxing campground. Also, we were told by neighbors that the park upgraded their Wifi in 2017 - we thought the upgraded free Wifi worked well (i.e., the same or better than other campgrounds). Most sites are big rig friendly. [$29 Daily rate listed was the monthly off-season rate, before taxes or electric usage charges.] - 2FullTimersinaFifth
Nov 2017 - $55.00
First stay here. Very spacious sites for a private campground and quiet at night. Clean restrooms and showers. Site surface was a concrete pad and featured a fire ring, picnic table and patio.
We brought our dog so the trail around the lake was perfect for walks. Great place to stay if you want to be near the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle. Took us about 15 minutes to drive to the beach area. Enjoyed some great seafood in Calabash. - jrackley
