I have only great things to say about Daddy Joe's. We had a ton of fun here over Labor Day weekend. We were supposed to arrive on Friday but tropical storm Hermine delayed our arrival until Saturday, as was the case with numerous guests. Daddy Joe graciously extended Monday's checkout time until 5:00 to make up for it. Wow! That really meant a lot for them to ensure their guests' satisfaction, especially since we didn't ask or expect it!
There's seriously so much to do here. Water attractions, basketball, mini golf, so many stocked ponds for fishing, a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices, planned activities for the kids, an ice creamery, a gift shop/camp store and more!
Our sites (38 & 39) were nicely spaced with concrete pads and a well maintained yard. No shade (there are shaded sites as you enter the park but they're further away from the amenities) so we caught the afternoon/evening sun on the patio side. But with our screen shade we were quite comfortable with low humidity & mid 80 degree temps.
We're planning a group trip for Memorial Day 2017 with RV friends and will be staying in one of the quad sites (so cool!) and others that will be staying in the tent sites and cabins. It's so awesome to have found a place that keeps the kids so busy and has accommodations for us and all our friends!!
Daddy Joe's is my new favorite! They really know what it takes to plan and maintain a campground to make for a positive camping experience!! - LynchPartyof8

By far our favorite family park, the kids love this place. The staff are always courteous and attentive, check-in is quick and easy. The park is clean, well kept, and the amenities are top notch. There is plenty to do here, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, mini golf, and the creamery. The grill and camp store are very convenient. The sites are close together but still give plenty of room for parking and activity. - Ldon

So we were only staying 2 months and ended up for 6 months through the winter. Snowbirds this is the place. Concrete pads, friendly family owned. Plenty of room and security, great walking roads within campground. Friendly snowbirds, feel safe and secure and owners always available for assistance. Make your reservation now for winter.... everything you need and only half hour to Myrtle Beach. - Kesch

Very small campground. Other than the pool and winery not much to do. Not close to anything so bring you own entertainment. - D Maier

Have posted before, but want to update again. Cannot say enough good things about the hands-on ownership. They really care. Yes, the office is closed on Sunday (due to their faith) but has never been a problem. They are involved with the campers, but never intrusive. The CG itself - clean, very well maintained, and it shows. Nice new camp store well stocked with necessities. Bath house is wonderful - very private facilities and always very clean. Sites are NOT tight and are, finally, mostly leveled out with a good stone base. Each has fire ring, picnic table, and most still have charcoal grills. Yes, it is 'out there', but the office will share a good map to lead to Tabor City and all you need (no more than about 15 minutes away). It's location affords a peace and quiet not found in most of the MB area CGs. We are able to use our Sat TV (we ask for a site that gives access) and have never had a problem with our Verizon phone reception. WiFi has improved - still not real fast, but good enough for our purposes. The pool is wonderful, and there is a playground for the kids. What makes this CG among our favorites is the friendly nature of the owners that flows over to those who stay here. Never an issue with loud neighbors all hours of the night. Price shows PA discount. If you're looking for a 'get away' with few hassles and privacy - this CG is for you! - pamhyatt1
Dec 2015 - $1.00
Price reflects C2C membership. Campground was very easy to find. Sites are close together, but because there are trees throughout; the sites don't feel as close as they actually are. There was plenty of room in the site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. They easily handle big rigs. Gravel roads through the campground. Sites are all very level. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and grill. The campground is about 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach-but it is so quiet it is like being in a different world. Verizon coverage is ok, there were times throughout our visit that the signal was lost-but it was only temporary. We were able to get DirecTV satellite. - GLPColorado
Sep 2016 - $61.00
Immaculate facility - groundskeepers seem to work around the clock maintaining the pool, clubhouse and grounds. Nothing was out of place even though the park was full. There are a number of longer term residents but, unlike other parks, their areas are immaculate.
Check in was quick and we were provided an escort to our huge pull through site. The site easily accommodated our 44' motorhome and towed car - in fact we could have put another motorhome or two in the space. Spacing between sites is enormous for a privately owned park. All sites have tons of room and most are pleasantly shaded - with fire ring, grill and concrete patio. All drives and sites are paved. Wifi is the best we've experienced at any park - ever.
The pools (kiddie & regular), lake swimming area, clubhouse, laundry facilities and office are beautifully maintained with great attention to detail. This is a beautiful park.
Willow Tree is secluded but is only minutes from the beach, restaurants, shopping and everything else you can imagine. This place is a great find and I expect to come here often. - Rob&Terri
Aug 2016 - $69.00
This resort was recommended to us by managers at a park in Georgia. We have RVed for 16 years and Willow Tree is probably the nicest resort we have found. Sites were long, shaded, spacious, and landscaped. Pool, lake, and other recreation facilities were first-rate. Entry to the park makes it feel truly private. - gbburgess
Jul 2016 - $89.00
We camped for 3 nights and paid $296.37. There was a mistake with our bill, which mgmt acknowledged, but refused to do anything about due to it being called to their attn after we checked out. The campground is clean, sites are a nice size, but I caution you from staying at this campground as they do not value their repeat customers. - wlmartin1004
