This is a very nice, rural campground. People are friendly. Sites are large and level. Some have paved patios; all have a table and fire ring. The restrooms and laundry (3 washers, 3 dryers, $1.50 each) are clean. For recreation, there's a catch-and-release lake and a large swimming pool. We only stayed one night, but we'd like to come back here and spend some time just relaxing. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice and quiet campground. We were here for 2 weeks for work at the local military base. Convenient to the Interstate. This CG was quiet but it was mid-March so not many campers. One section off to the side had many long term RVs but all were newer models, well kept and not rundown like other CGs we have been at in years past. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cable was good, the first 3 days WIFI was either poor or nonexistent. But on the 4 day problems were solved and was excellent the rest of our stay. This area is known as the sand hills and yes there is sand to some degree everywhere. The coastline from 20 million years ago was either lower or the water was higher. So sand to some degree in your RV is unavoidable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motor Home. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

We stopped here for a night while traveling to South Carolina. The campground was easy to find off Interstate 95. The road in was a little rough, with just a dirt (sand) surface. We had no problems getting in with our fifth wheel, and were greeted at the office when we arrived by friendly staff. Everything was ready and we were escorted to our site. It was a very level pull-through, and all of the hookups were well cared for. The campground was well wooded and quiet. Bath house was clean and functional. No real camp store or anything else to do, but this was a great stopping point along 95 for us. They did have a pond and a swimming pool. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We are novices to camping and have just bought our camper about two months ago. We are not full timers by any means but we try to take the camper out to different places every weekend. We found you guys in the Good Sam Campground Catalog and we are so glad we did. You guys were so helpful. We arrived a little later than seven but you guys welcomed us in like you had been waiting on us all day and you were so glad that we had arrived. Your park was lovely and we have already talked about your campground to other campers and have told them to definitely put your guys on one of their stops when they are around your area. We loved that your campground was smaller with only 50 sites but had all the amenities of a larger campground. The pond was great and my son loved that he was able to fish all day long. One of my many goals are to try and hit every Camping World store and there is one conveniently located just a few miles from you as well as other stores that a camper may require. I hope this new excitement we have found for camping stays around for many years to come. Rest assured we will talk about you guys on every stop we make and we look forward to coming and visiting again. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We stayed here for one night while visiting friends at Fort Bragg. We arrived in the evening when it was dark, but what a pleasant surprise in the morning. The grounds were well maintained and there was lots of nice shade from the beautiful trees. The pool looked well maintained but we did not use it. The sites are very sandy, so put down a mat to keep your RV floors clean. We were asked to pay cash or check. I'm not sure if that's because we arrived after hours or not-just wanted to mention. We would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This could be a very nice park. It is close to Fayetteville and for us, was very convenient for visiting our son. It needs three things to get a higher rating. One, the entry road is dirt and is rough. If it had rained while we were there it would have been a mess. Two, they need a concrete pad at each site. The ground is a combination dirt/sand that sticks to everything. It's nearly impossible to keep it out of the RV. Three, they need more grass. The area we were in, near the front was almost completely dirt sites with dirt in between the sites. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, the grounds were very clean, and the recently renovated restrooms were nice. Our site was large, with plenty of room. We would stay here again, but it would be our second choice in the area. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a very nice family run campground that is not far at all from I-95. The water/electric/cable were all very good. The pool was very clean. We were escorted to our site which we always love! The staff was very pleasant & friendly. The dirt road in is bumpy, but not unmanageable. The bathrooms are individual with showers that were absolutely modern & spotless. What a pleasure! Our site was mostly sandy and we saw lots of ants. That is the only issue that keeps us from rating it a solid 10. We would stay here again. When we turned off the main road to the campground I was a little leery because the road was all sand and dirt and it had been raining hard all day. There was no problem navigating the road. The campground is very rustic and the roads are all dirt and sand. We had no problem navigating the interior roads even with all the rain. Wi-Fi and cable worked great and shopping was nearby. They have a nice pool and there is a small lake which requires no fishing license. This is a stopover campground, not a destination. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice campground, near I-95, but not a lot of highway noise. Was lead to nice pull through sight by escort. Compacted sand, so put a rug down to avoid tracking dirt into RV. Bathrooms/shower/laundry room appeared to be brand new and were very clean. No real negatives to speak of. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $32.00
Quiet park with friendly staff. Pet friendly with a nice pond to walk around. Shaded sites. Most are pull-through with full hook ups. Dirt sites and not totally level. We were pleasantly surprised with the campground. It is just a mile or two off of I-95 and very quiet and well maintained. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Lazy Acres RV Park. What a nice surprise. Only stayed for one night, but could have stayed longer. The staff we very friendly and the grounds very well kept. The only thing that could have been a little better was the condition of the restrooms and showers. While they were acceptable, they are in need of a little TLC or possibly a renovation. Yes, I would return here. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Quiet, relaxing, wooded CG. Plenty of shade. Entry road is sand and rough. Sites are sand. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Name of CG matches the feeling. You can really lay back here. Highly recommended. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

They discount with triple A card. Not to far from the Interstate. This is an old school campground, no frills. They escort you to your site, and they are friendly. Our aircard worked well but not our satellite. Its a sandy, non leveled site. It was a quiet c/g. Definitely watch for the tree branches as they need to be trimmed!!! Overall if in the area again we would stay for one night. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Friendly staff. Clean park with lots of trees. We were unable to get satellite due to the tress. Older park but very well maintained. Would stay here again. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Very nice campground. Lots of large trees but were not in the way of pulling in or out of the site. Sites are fairly level on hard- packed sand. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We pulled in after dark and they even followed me around with a flashlight to help me set up. Now that's service! We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo
