This was my first campground that I can actually say the bathrooms made you feel like you were at home. It was so clean. It is a smaller campground but very nice and shady. The place was so quiet. The pool was a highlight for the kids after a long drive. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful, shady campground about a mile and a half from I-95. You have to drive almost half a mile down a dirt road to get into the campground, but the road isn't bad. The sites are nice and roomy. We stayed one night in site 7, a long, level pull-through site. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Dirt road coming into campgrounds. Beautiful reception area, would have liked a small camp store. They do have ice for sale and a soda vending machine. We had full hook up to include cable so we never used facilities there. Pool area was nicely manicured with plenty of seating and tree shade. Childrens park was disappointing, needs updating. Fishing pond was excellent, kids were able to catch fish no problem. Catch and release only. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lazy Acres is set back from Interstate 95 and tucked away in the woods. The grounds are sand and pine trees. Owners live onsite and are very friendly and helpful. We pulled in on Friday evening and throughly enjoyed the walking trails and in general the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. I used the onsite laundry which was very clean with fairly new washers and dryers. Our site was a long pull through, fairly level, full hook up utilities were in good working order. The site had a concrete patio and wooden picnic table. The only thing that tainted our stay at Lazy Acres was the drag racing noise on Saturday night. It was loud all evening and late night. That was most disappointing. We would definitely come back here if it were during the week, not sure we would if it was on a weekend. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Camping World is about 2 miles from the park. For those that like to exercise, there is plenty of space to walk/run a 1.5 mile loop through the park and out to the main road and back.

We have stayed here twice while traveling. It is very convenient and sites are fine. We were in site 7 both times. Many permanent worker trailers but their areas are clean. BA is nice and clean. New cable service throughout is good, don't need a box anymore. Internet is good. It is a pretty long sandy drive and sites are sand. That would be my only concern. Lots of sand. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a rustic campground convenient for an overnight stop. The road leading in is dirt as is many of the sites. The owners and manager were very helpful in finding a spot for us, since we arrived later and they were totally booked. The sites are nicely spaced and level, on grass and dirt. The utilities worked well, some of the hook-ups are little inconvenient to reach. The cable and wi-fi worked well. Lots of room to walk the pup. There are permanents, but all in all a good over night stay. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

It was almost dark and very very cold. We were outrunning a snowstorm but got settled in for just the night in route south to Florida. Staff was very friendly and escorted us to lot. Cable channels came in clear but you have to leave $20 deposit for the cable selector. That was returned when selector was returned at check out. Only stayed one quick night but would return in summer. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lazy Acres is a fine place to stop on your way North or South. It is very convenient to Rt 95 without any road noise. There is an airport nearby. but it is no issue at night.
This was our second time staying there. The staff was excellent and we were guided to our site. Although it seems to be an older CG, the bathrooms/showers have been refurbished and are excellent. There are many permanent sites but they are well kept. We were in site 7. It was reasonably level with easy access, The only difficulty I had was with the 50 amp service. One line was not working and I had to use the 3o amp outlet instead.
I do not know the Fayetteville area so I cannot recommend any local attractions.
All that being said. we will definitely stay there again as a travel stop. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Office staff was great and let us pick between 2 sites to accommodate our big rig. Site was shady with a lot of trees as in entire campground. Entrance wide, easy to get in and easy access off 1-95. will stay here again in our travels towards Florida. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fayetteville NC-Lazy Acres Is located about a mile and a half off of 95 easy on off. It has a sand packed road going in. We stayed from 6/6/2015-6/12/2015. Very nice campground at 37.00 dollars a night, they do accept Good Sams. The sites are level of compacted sand, most of the sites have concrete pad with a picnic table and fire ring. They have cable, WiFi, pool, very nice bath hous, laundry room, and a catch and release pond. The owners live on site as do the managers. It is located near the airport so there is some plane noise. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet, serene park with private bath/showers instead of a bath house. No store, but stores are close by. Clean park with a nice pool for relaxing. Seasonal folks are friendly and the owners are accommodating. We had a wonderful, peaceful night of rest and relaxation. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice, rural campground. People are friendly. Sites are large and level. Some have paved patios; all have a table and fire ring. The restrooms and laundry (3 washers, 3 dryers, $1.50 each) are clean. For recreation, there's a catch-and-release lake and a large swimming pool. We only stayed one night, but we'd like to come back here and spend some time just relaxing. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice and quiet campground. We were here for 2 weeks for work at the local military base. Convenient to the Interstate. This CG was quiet but it was mid-March so not many campers. One section off to the side had many long term RVs but all were newer models, well kept and not rundown like other CGs we have been at in years past. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cable was good, the first 3 days WIFI was either poor or nonexistent. But on the 4 day problems were solved and was excellent the rest of our stay. This area is known as the sand hills and yes there is sand to some degree everywhere. The coastline from 20 million years ago was either lower or the water was higher. So sand to some degree in your RV is unavoidable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motor Home. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.
