Nice park with friendly greeters. If you get the right spot you will be happy. I would suggest one of the pull thrus and there aren't many. Lakeside sites are cramped and narrow and vehicle restriction not enforced. Nice walking area for dogs. Need more places to put garbage around the park. Again I stress location, location, location. Choose wisely. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has a nice store in the office, and nearby stores within 2 miles have pretty much anything you may have forgotten to bring. We had a level, pull-through long enough for the toad and the motor home. We had full hook-ups on the side of the motor home. They have asphalt driveways and gravel pads. there is mowed grass around the edge of the pads. They have picnic tables and fire rings. They have screw in sewer connections. Water pressure was good. Electrical is 30 and 50 amps. There are more than 12 park models for long term residents and rentals. All seem to be well maintained. They have a great recreation hall with a bathroom, fireplace, big screen TV, pool table, table tennis table and a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven. There is cable TV with 24 channels and with a weak signal at our site, but with an antenna you we got 23 clear HD channels. Verizon Wireless was 5 out of 5 bars; ATT wireless 4 out of 5 bars. There is open WiFi with no password required. Response was very good. There is no trash pick up at the site. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

A few tight turns and some pesky tree branches getting in here. Overpriced for a FHU back-in after Good Sam discount. They are part of Passport America but not on the weekends or with reservations. When I called while on our way, women led me to believe only a few sites left, and wanted credit card to hold, but wasn't really the case. There are about 100 sites some of these are seasonals and there are also cabins. Wi-Fi was ok. Verizon good. They assigned us site 75 a back-in but no one in 69 so essentially a pull through getting in. A guy in a golf cart showed us to the site. They have cable, but it's not HD. Pool wasn't open. There was some kind of spill in the creek and getting into the lake so they called in the EPA. Smelled like Kerosene. Never heard what that was all about. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

We use to stop here many years ago, and since then ownership has changed. Now there are more permanent sites, and they have added many small houses. But they have done a lot of maintenance, especially adding gravel to all the sites and roadways. Our site was one of the few all concrete ones and level. Utilities were good, but WiFi was almost unusable. This park looks like it is in the country but it is cose to stores and restaurants. We will stay here again. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have been at Rutledge lake Dec through Feb. Park is very quiet, not much activity outside of people coming and going. Mostly long term residents vs campers. Parking is a challenge both for the rigs and vehicles- many cars parked in empty spaces or in the roads, making it nearly impossible to maneuver a larger rig in and out. The initial site we stayed in for 2 months was nice, level, and plenty of space for us, however most sites are double sites very close together that do not accommodate 2 large rigs with slides. We took our 5th wheel out for 5 days (which is permitted), and came back to a 45 ft 5th wheel parked in the shared site. Despite us having been in this space and paid for in advance, there was no way for our 2 rigs to be parked side by side with slides out, nor was there any way for us to attempt to park it in our own site due to all the other RVs and vehicles in the road. We ended up getting kicked out of our site and having to choose another one, which wasn't easy because of our size. We caught a lot of attitude from the workers and office staff, with no apologies for the inconvenience. We actually heard the office staff on the radio say that we should just leave and not stay here. Up until then this had been a decent park, our new space however barely fits us, and there is no where to park our tow vehicle, much less space to sit and enjoy the outside. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very cramped, but clean, not big rig friendly at all, Staff needs PR training badly, Only met 1 on the entire trip who was friendly. They claim they have WIFI but never got a signal. The offer cable tv hook up, but that's it so don't forget to bring your own coax cable or they will sell you one at double the going price. Its all gravel and you have to navigate tight spots around vehicles which are parked in the road, Also what left a bad impression on us was the staff was cleaning up the leaves that fell which was great except they had no problem blowing dust and debris all over our unit and tow vehicle not to mention everyone elses vehicles too without offering to blow them off or even saying they were sorry. Lastly let me mention we asked specifically for the handicapped site, which in turn we were told they didn't have one, But guess what?? They do have one and gave it to someone 2 days after we arrived who wasn't handicapped or at least didn't display a handicap ID in their vehicle. We are planning on another Biltmore trip in the spring, And will be choosing a hotel over this place. In my opinion its just not worth the hassle you go through for the little bit of money you save over a hotel. Stayed November 2016, traveled with family We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

camped in a 44 foot MH. Called to make reservation and made a point to be sure they had big enough site. Got there and taken to the site, and could not get into it. Moved to another site, and it took a while but we got in. This is not a big rig friendly park unless you have one of a few sites.

Had FHU that worked fine, level site. Interior roads average, big speed bumps. Go slow. We will not camp here again. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for three months (June-Labor Day 2016). Nice little park. The sites are gravel, varying in size, and we had a nice shaded site for our stay. Toad parking can be a challenge, but wouldn't keep me from staying here again. For the kids there is a nice pool, fishing pond, paddle boats and play area. Restrooms clean and well-kept. Laundry room could use a little work. Well maintained park - I believe they even have 100amp service in the newer area. Very close to restaurants, Walmart, shopping -- Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Slide Rock -- all within an hours drive. We even found ATV trails (few and far between in western North Carolina). All in all, a nice place to stay for a vacation. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were happy pulling into the facility. Its located by a large pond with ducks. Having said that, we had to maneuver large potholes around the site. Internet was dismal and cable was just as bad. The restrooms were spotless and the laundry was always clean. The location is great but if you need to use the internet, don't stay here. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night, coming back from Myrtle Beach to Kentucky. The Bathroom/Shower House was very clean and modern. Laundry machines were convenient. The campground is located near I-26 near Asheville. The site are close together and most of the sites are completely graveled. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We're here for a month which is reflected by the monthly rate. Park workers do not have the skills necessary to manage this park!!! We had to move our car numerous time at all hours, to let their team guide visitors into the sites next to us. Park workers were not too good at providing directions. It is a real comedy watching the park workers provide assistance to other campers, as long as it is not next to your site. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean park from what we could see, but small and with many very close spaces. Only a few suitable for a class A motorhome, and even then the way into the site and the way out is very, very tight due to other vehicles being parked on or partially on the road. The electricity in site 46 is abominable. We paid for 50 amp service, but our Energy Management System said that one leg was only 106 volts, and kept shutting the coach down. This played hob with the A/C units, and wiped out the main circuit board in the onboard washing machine! We finally switched to 30 amp, and limped along, turning appliances on or off so as not to trip the breaker. We talked to a gentleman who comes here every summer to escape Florida, and he said that he had the same issue with power last year in this site. Management is adding new sites but not maintaining the sites already in service. Poor way to run a business! We will never return!

P.S. Wifi was advertised but non-existent. Never did find it, even at the office. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access in and out for big rig. Very friendly and helpful staff. Park very clean. Stayed in site 76 which was very large with picnic shelter in back. Plenty of room for 40ft MH. Good water pressure. Adequate cable and on and off Wi-Fi. Water, sewer, and electric hookups were good. Good location to visit Ashville and surrounding areas. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Nice lake in park with recreation options. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a large paved pull-through site (13) near the lake. It was extremely convenient, but had no shade and was not very private. When the back-in sites along the lake were occupied, it blocked our view. Fletcher is a great location, right in between Asheville and Hendersonville, and the park is easy to reach. The staff was friendly; they even help you park! The owners do a great job landscaping the sites, and even though they are adding new ones, noise was never a problem. The pool was inviting; restrooms were modern and clean. We will definitely return, but next time we'd request one of the gravel sites in the back where there's more shade and privacy. We camped at Rutledge Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.
