Long wide and clean pull-through. Have stayed twice going north and South. Easy on/off I-95. Will stay again when timely. This park rates right up there with the best. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice campground. We had a little trouble leveling, but not too much. All of the sites are large and gravel. There's a nice table and firepit on the grass between your site and the one next to you. The pool is unheated and it was cold so we didn't go swimming, but it felt good to relax in the hot tub. There's miniature golf and a tennis/badminton court. The fenced in dog park is large enough for any size dog to run around and have fun. Wednesday through Sunday there are free waffles, coffee and juice at the "White House". The bathrooms are large and private. The laundry (wash $2, dry 50¢ for 15 minutes) is large enough, but there are no chairs in there, so I went to the "Rally Room" while my clothes were going. The Rally Room has comfortable chairs along one wall and tables and chairs in the middle. There are jigsaw puzzles in there, or you can sit back with a good book until your laundry is done. There are also a billiards room and a fitness room. The staff keeps all of them clean. The company that owns this resort also owns eight others. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we'll look for the others while we travel across the country. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearby: Carolina Premium Outlets, antique shops in Selma, Bentonville Battlefield, Nahunta Pork Center

Our first stay of 2016 gave us a chance to get away close to home and check out our camper for the new season.
The park has many amenities as listed. The jacuzzi was really nice, especially when cool at night. The had a BBQ pig & chicken pickin for a fund raiser on Saturday. Nice thing to do to help out a local. Staff is friendly. Sites were level good water pressure. Wi-Fi was intermittently weak when many people were online. Much of the landscaping is still young, but give it a few years and the place will be beautiful. Excellent for a stop over off I-95. Will really be nice in the Summer with 2 pools. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the country store down the road, interesting experience. Large outlet mall at exit 95 along with numerous restruaunts and a movie theatre. Civil war battle field not too far. JR's cigars at exit 97. The sites farther back have less landscaping and foliage. The sites up front have some shade.

Large park with pool, miniature golf, fenced dog walk, cable TV. Gravel roads and sites with some grass between. Most sites seem to be rather level.

Pancake breakfast if you do not have to get on the road early.

Staff was friendly and responsive to cable not working at site. Fixed in 15 minutes.

It had rained recently so there was some muddy areas in the grass between sites.

Water and cable hookups were extremely close to the ground. Get on your knees to hook things up. Water was very difficult to connect. There was a washed out area under the water spicket. If this depression was not there it would be impossible to hookup the water pressure control or hose. The low water and cable connections appeared to be at all the sites. This is my main reason for an 8 rating. It would have been a 9 or 10 otherwise.

Near I-95 so some road noise.

Our 28' Class C with tow dolly and GMC Terrain was easily accommodated getting around the park to and from our site. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park. The owners are doing a lot of maintance and fixing up the campground. While we were there they had a tree removal company come in and remove dead trees due to Beatle infestation. They have many cabins in the back of the property with RV site next to them for groups or families. The sites are mostly level and drain well after the rain. Although there was a lot of rain while we were there so it took a bit of time. The Wifi was not great but they were in the process of reducing it so hopefully that will work bette in the future. They serve waffle each morning and the pool is clean. Many sites with good satellite reception. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

You can tell they take pride in this park. The lots were paved and level, they escort you to your lot, trash is conveniently located and they keep the park immaculate. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We only spent one night here, but will definitely go back again. Office was friendly & had great screened in room attached overlooking the sparkling clean pool. Our pull thru spot w/ concrete pad was nice. Campground roads were easy to get around. Park is convenient to I-95. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're here Sunday morning they will cook you waffles.

This is a great campground for our overnight purpose. Most sites are pull-through, so we could leave our tow vehicle attached. The price is reasonable and there IS cable and WiFi! Hooray! Though I did not use it this time, there are dog parks within the campground. Also, they always invite you to breakfast! (We had to start early, so we could not take advantage, but a very nice gesture!) We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Just an overnight stay for us, but I do know that the Smithfield Outlets are close!

This park was obviously designed and is operated by an RVer!

Spacious sites, all utilities properly placed, pull through sites, three dog parks!

Don't miss the free waffles for breakfast.

Every employee that we came in contact with was friendly and helpful.

This will now be a regular stop on our travels on I-95. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There's very little to find wrong with Raleigh Oaks. It's priced competitively for the area. Offers unsurpassed amenities (mini-golf, pickle ball, two swimming pools, ping-pong, free waffles every morning, free craft time once a week for kids, billiards room, nice rally room, fitness room, and more). The sites are basic, but without major blemish (gravel, 20/30/50 amp hookups, water, sewer, picnic table, fire ring). There are lots of clean and newly remodeled bathrooms. There are two laundry rooms. Great campground. We'll be back. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was the former Smithfield KOA. The KOA was always nice, but never as nice as it is now! WOW! This place has mini-golf, two pools, a separate handicap pool, a billiards room rally lodge, fitness center, and laundry facilities. It does not have a camp store, but there are two convenience/gas station stores less than a mile away. It's close to I-95, but not close enough to hear the traffic. Except for lack shade (no trees)this place is great! It is my new must stay on the way to Florida, or visiting relatives in the area. Oh and they have clean bathroom suites! (The suite has the toilet, shower and sink in each. ) I counted at least 15 bathrooms.

The place has gravel drives and sites. There are beautiful "cottages" to rent too. They are really park models that look like log cabins.

The owners spent some money making this a beautiful park. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Raleigh has many great attractions close by. Some of my family favorite are the Natural Science Museum and the Raleigh Art Museum. You're not too far from outlet shopping either.

Great location if your traveling on I-95. The sites are all out in an open field with a few young trees planted. The site pads are large marble chips rather than compacted small gravel. Different, but it still held up the RV. Cable and Wi-Fi are all good signals. A word of caution, the water pressure is quite high (about 65psi) so a pressure regulator is recommended. This park is better suited for the one night traveler rather than an extended stay. Easy access to I-95. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. This was the busiest time ever, according to one of the friendly employees. The park's amenities are awesome. Two nice size pool with a shallow kids wading section, jacuzzi, billiards room, workout room, large meeting room, miniature golf, pickle court, and play ground. Three dog runs. 65+ psi of water pressure. Clean individual showers. Long sites, fairly level. Easy access. Being that the CG has recently been renovated & updated, there aren't many trees for shade. Lots of room between sites, some with flower & plant beds. Close enough to I-95 and we did hear traffic at night, unless the A/C kicked on. Definitely the place to stay if visiting Raleigh or traveling through. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Outlet mall 5 miles away. IGA in town for necessities. Waffles in the morning in the office. Stay towards the front of the park.
