Great park. Stayed here a couple of years ago and it was nice, but since then they have improved the park even more with neatly landscaped grounds and neatly groomed RV sites. Park paths and sites are rock with wood borders. Easily accessible hook-ups. This park really goes out of the way to serve the campers. They provided Hamburger Steak, gravy, onions, green beans Thursday night $3.00 per plate; happy hour for adults Friday night with complimentary beer, wine and snacks; hamburger, hotdogs, chips and lemonade for $5.00 per plate Saturday night, followed by poolside DJ and dancing. Great family environment. Excellent experience. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We set up camp here for 10 days while the flood damaged home was being repaired. The park is clean. 3 dog parks. Very good water pressure. Level site. Many antenna stations, fair wifi (typical RV park). There are a number of long terms guests set up around the parameter and in the back. Park staff are friendly. Some sites have a little shade, not many as the trees and bushes are still growing. 2 pools, miniature golf, pickle ball courts, play ground, work out room, waffles on the weekend. What else can I say? Worth an overnite as it has EZ access to I-95. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has it all - fast, reliable WiFi, 2 swimming pools (but no hot tub), lending library, activities in season, 3 dog runs, spacious sites, well placed propane fill, well equipped playground and cabins, in case you don't have an RV. Close to I-95, for easy access, but far enough away that you don't get much road noise at all. The interior roads were gravel and plenty wide enough to make getting around easy. There were a few trees, some large & mature, but the sites were mostly open. The pools were both sparkling clean and refreshing, with plenty of lounge chairs around the deck. The bathrooms are unisex and individual, with sink, potty and shower all in one large room, with a good sturdy lock on the door. They were big enough that my husband and I could share a single room without getting in each other's way. We arrived only 30 minutes prior to office closing time, yet the clerks were still friendly and the propane fillers didn't seem to mind our last minute fill up request. They arrived promptly and were nothing but friendly and courteous. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was our 4th time staying here. It's very close to home and allows for a quick weekend "trip." We find that each time we're here, they have made improvements and are becoming more of a destination rather than an overnight off I-95. We were in a premium pull through, which was very spacious and conveniently located at the front of the campground. Close to both pools, playground, rec rooms, etc. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the pools. The staff seems to really place a priority on that. The complimentary waffle breakfasts were a hit, as was the luau-themed activities during our weekend there. No issues with electricity or cable tv and the water pressure was impressive. Finally, a campground where I feel like I can give my water regulator a workout. :-) Their documentation mentioned 80psi and according to my pressure gauge, that's what it was. It was great to take a "house-like" shower in the RV. There isn't much shade in the entire campground, so the ACs were running a lot, but no issues with voltage swings. We found it a bit odd that the office closed at such an early hour, leaving us with a "late" check-in at 5:30pm. Not really an issue unless you needed something from the office or camp store. We will stay here again. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here a few years ago (different name) and is completely renovated now. Mostly gravel pull thru sites with all utilities, 50amp, cable and wi-fi, fire ring and picnic table. Water pressure is high so you need a regulator. A lot of cabins in the back of park, dog parks, clean pool and grounds. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is not near Raleigh which is about an hour away. That being said, the pool was clean and warm. Umbrellas and chairs all in nice condition. There is a second smaller pool that was not yet open by the well equipped playground. I was told this second pool will be for adults only. Adult pool by the playground. Hmmm, not sure I appreciate this. Great walking park as the sites are in an oval with rows down the center and another section in the back with cabins. There are also 3 nice dog parks spread around the resort. We were assigned site 212 originally but due to lots of rain it had a lot of water still in it. Management efficiently accepted our request to move to 315. Nice corner site near the restrooms and laundry facilities. Would stay again if we had reason to be that far from Raleigh. Chose this campground as a stop over going north on I-95. Stayed 3 nights. Very easy on/off from the interstate. Everything in the park appears to be new or remodeled. Utilities worked very well and were nicely placed. Restrooms/showers were setup as private suites, each with there own entrance. They were immaculate. Sites are well maintained but with very little vegetation for privacy. Pool areas were very nice. Overnighters were kept closer to the front with long term/ permanents in a different area. I plan to use this campground in the future as it's roughly half way from NJ and FL state line. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

While this is an I95 park...it has wonderful facilities and has become a weekend/vacation destination and has a number of long term residents now compared to when it first opened. Everything is super clean and well maintained. A second swimming pool, hot tub and two nite lit pickleball courts have been added...but they still serve morning waffles and have a once a week $3 buck dinner. Wifi & cable work great. Indoor pool tables room, fitness center & lounge. Big Flea market nearby and Carolina Premium Outlets within 10 miles. Super nice, hard working staff/owners. Chose this RV Park for an overnight stop while traveling north. Easy to get to and maneuver around. Lots of amenities including 2 pools, pickle ball courts, playground, exercise room, miniature golf, and dog park. Wish I had more time to take advantage of more of them. Outlet mall just a few miles up the road. My site has some drainage issues from the recent rain so there were puddles around my door. Office only open to 2:00 on Sundays but they make it easy to check yourself in. Everything very neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. This CG really deserves all the good reviews they receive. It has to be one of the cleanest, well maintained CGs we've stayed in. We used most of the facilities; nice clubhouse, mini-golf, pool tables & the pickleball courts looked very new. During our 6-day stay they had a value priced dinner, 3 free waffle breakfasts, and a hosted happy hour. Many of the permanents attend the events, but everyone mixed and there was no "us/them" kind of feeling that you can run into some places. Site was level, wifi strong and good cable. Water pressure is great. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a BP gas station & little convenience store, Ronnies, about a 1/3 mile down the road that had diesel at 15 cents a gallon less than other stations along I-95. Very easy in/out with a tow.

Very convenient to I-95. The pull-through sites are very long, so plenty of room for Motorhome + Toad. Also sites are reasonably spacious so you are not on top of your neighbor. Sites are level and gravel with grassy area for picnic table and fire ring. The transient sites are near the front. This park has many permanent residents, but all the sites were well maintained and the people I talked with were friendly. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights. We reserve 10 rating only for "exceptional" and overall this RV Resort was exceptional by all accounts and exceeded our expectations. First, it was recently completely renovated. The facilities are as nice as we've ever seen at an RV resort/park. They provide individual private bathhouses that were incredibly nice and kept spotlessly. Their fitness room was well equipped and outstanding. They have a great pool and area with an in-ground hot tub kept at a perfect 102 degrees. The laundry room was 1st rate. The sites were spacious and well maintained (ours was a rock with very good rock coverage) with good space between sites. We will definitely look for a reason to stay at this "destination" RV Resort again! We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This large (over 150 RV sites, many occupied by long-term residents, plus an additional 20 cottages), but very quiet, park is located about ½ mile from I-95 (exit 90), so there is no freeway noise heard when outside. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, and registration at "The White House" was quickly accomplished. After check-in, we were escorted to our RV site by a very pleasant gentleman. Roads (wide and easily navigable) and sites within the park are crushed rock. We had a very wide, premium site (with a picnic table) at the front of the park, but unfortunately, it had a significant uphill slope. By the time our jacks had us level, the wheels on our tag axle were a couple of inches off the ground. The park offers numerous amenities for its guests: convenience store, two swimming pools, one with a spa, pickleball courts, fitness center, Rally Room, BBQ Patio, billiard room, miniature golf, two laundry facilities, restrooms/showers, three dog parks, and a playground for children. The resort also offers a Thursday Night dinner for $3.00 and complimentary waffles Friday through Sunday mornings. Free wireless Internet and cable TV round out the services. It must also be mentioned that it was very pleasant to see the seasonal decorations in various locations of the park. Raleigh Oaks was very convenient for our visits to Raleigh and Durham. Should we ever find ourselves in this area again, we would return to Raleigh Oaks, if we could be guaranteed a level site, as the slope did negatively impact the smooth operation of our large living room slide. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
