Wonderful RV experience. Gorgeous views of mountains. You are nestled up in the mountains. Hosts are wonderful and offer everything that you need for a self contained motorhome. They make you feel like family. Beautiful trails and places for meditation. Very well kept and hosts live on premises. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to see and do in the area. Close to Harrah's and Highlands. Nearby beautiful waterfalls and Franklin is a very unique little town. We found great Restaurants in the area. A really neat French restaurant with wonderful food in a "gas station", another steak house in a bowling alley. These are the neat attractions of a small town. Will stay here again. It is also a place where you can just rest and unwind and commune with nature.

This is a rare treat in an RV park. It is like boondocking with all the comforts. Sites are secluded, level, and have all the utilities except cable TV. Even decent WiFi. Owners are special people and make you feel welcome. Lots of room to hike on their property. We look forward to coming again. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Travel Trailer.

We found this park in May even though we had been coming to this area for some time. All I can really say is that this place is One Fantastic RV Park. The owners and hosts are the very best in making you feel welcome and at home from the time that you drive up.

Being from central Florida, this is truly the place that we have been looking for. Quiet, cool, beautiful, great sites and excellent views are just the beginning of the amenities that you will find at this RV Park.

We have already booked our next stay in October and look forward to our return. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Motorhome.

If you want to feel like you are staying on "your own mountain" this is the RV park for you!! Beautiful views from your site. The owners live just "up the mountain" and take such good care of the facilities and sites. All areas very clean. The owners make you feel at home with special touches like flowers at your site, personalized welcome sign. We stayed in one of the lower sites which had great views of a nearby mountain ridge. Our site was close to the laundry which was clean, comfortable, and free. There are plenty of walking / hiking trails on site. The RV park is also in a great location for day trips to waterfalls, hiking, small town shopping, etc. No bathroom facilities or kid friendly amenities but those items are not things that are important to us. Restaurants, Big box store, and grocery within 15 minutes. Will definitely return. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The owner is very knowledgeable of the area and will gladly give you suggestions on the "must see" sites. We did several loops of waterfalls that are easy walks. You are close to several entrance points of Appalachian Trail (great photo op for those of us who can't hike very far). Recommend day trip to the Highlands and Clayton, GA.

We just spent 3 days here and hated to leave! I can't say enough good things about this park and its owners. The hospitality, scenery, and wildlife made it our most memorable experience to date! First class operation and we already have plans to come back soon. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The quaint town of Dillon is a short drive. We love to eat at the Greek restaurant and peruse the shops. Sylvia is only a few miles past Dillon and has a German beer brewery. Of course, you are surrounded by National and State parks with incredible hiking.

A wonderful place to camp! Cardinal Ridge Farm RV has only six fully equipped sites. Three are together and three "premium" sites are separate and up a treed hill. The owners of the property, are talented and accomplished people who treat you like family the moment you arrive.

The farm is beautiful-rolling hills, great trees, and a lot of privacy. The Hayes have a fawn rescue operation on site with baby deer fed with a bottle. There are chickens and geese (fenced) and a nighty feeding of wild deer and turkey.

There is not a pool or bathhouse, so a self-contained motorhome or trailer is needed. Kids are welcome, but might not find enough to do.

The area is full of things to do, places to eat, hikes to take. Truly a "don't miss" RV camping vacation. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Motorhome.

What a great place to camp. Lots of peace and quiet with beautiful views. Relaxation was a must. This is a secret gem. The water pressure was good, no electrical problems, and good sewer system. Good wifi. Complimentary washer and dryer. No bathrooms but not a problem for us. Great hiking trails, awesome overlooks, and lots of wildlife. Deer and turkey every where. Traveled with my wife and two kids besides having a great time, we got a kick out of all the wildlife. Great hosts. They were absolutely incredible hosts and really treated us like family. They welcomed all of us and my kids got pretty attached. Town was close by and there was a fun center in town for the kids. One of the hosts was a great tour guide about the town and places to go. Beautiful drives to other parts of North Carolina. I would recommend this campground to anyone. This is a true treasure. We were so sad to leave, so we will definitely be back. My kids can't wait to see their North Carlina friends again. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Travel Trailer.

A very pleasant and relaxing park. The owners are wonderful and treat you like family. A couple of corrections to previous posts would be I do not believe there are showers and restrooms available. The park is designed for motorhomes that are fully contained. I do not see any of this as a negative but more of a clarification. If I had a complaint it would be the design of the water hookup on one site. It is designed to be shared via splitters and this presents issues for some RVers. Again I love the place and will visit again. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Motorhome.

This beautiful farm and park with a view of the Smokey Mountains to the west gives a unique experience for motorhomes. Each site has a great view and full hookups. Wild turkeys and deer abound. The owners raise chickens for eggs, ballerina geese for their beauty and bees for organic honey. The breakfast ($15) is optional but should not be missed, at least once. The park caters only to motorhomes; there are no shower or restroom facilities. One of the owners has every tool imaginable and is ready to help with RV problems. The other is a great cook. We discovered this RV park in 2011. We now make sure we stay every summer for a month. Upon retirement, we will be here much longer.

The park is pristine. The owners/hosts are the most wonderful people. The breakfast offered is prepared by the owner and is French cuisine!

Hiking trails on the property, mountain vistas, and warm caring owners make this RV & B RV park a mystery do if you are in the area. We camped at Cardinal Ridge Farm RV in a Motorhome.

This is truly a unique place to stay. It is way off the beaten path, so plan on spending at least several days here. The owners welcome you to their home and treat you like you are their guest. Internet signal is very strong, laundry is complimentary, breakfast is awesome and so are the views! They have very few sites but all are full hookup with concrete pads. Franklin is a good sized town that is about ten minutes away, and there are forests and hiking trails that the owners will guide you to. We will definitely be back.
