I drove through this campground to check it out for a possible weekend get-away. Well, after driving around I couldn't get away fast enough. The owner, a sweet 83 year old lady, was a pleasure to talk to. That was the only positive thing I experienced. While driving through the CG, I asked a couple that had just pulled in from Ohio. They had stayed here a couple of times before, only because it was easily accessible from I-40. They said the bath house was filthy and they refused to drink the water. The sites were jumbled in their location. The many permanent trailers were in poor condition. Don't even try to bring your big rig as the roads in the CG are in terrible shape and there's just not enough room. Keep on rolling down the road, don't bother stopping here. We camped at Hidden Lake Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

This was not a reservation just a drive up afte a LL call. They said they had a drive thru with 50 amps. It was getting dark so we took it over the phone. When we were escorted by foot walking in frount of the coach I knew we were in trouble, no problem we needed AC so 50 amps was the priority. The site was a 180 turn to get in it and that was after hitting 5 trees with my DTV antenna. After getting in the site there was NO 50 amp only 30. We looked like the only transient in the place, everybody elese has been there a lifetime DONT BOTHER TO STOP. We camped at Hidden Lake Campgrounds in a Motorhome.
