We drove 5 hours from Richmond VA to Kings Mountain NC to trade RVs for a new Holiday Rambler. It would have been to much to go back after the walk through so I looked up campgrounds and Crosswinds had a high rating. I called and Glenda was wonderful. On way knew it would be after 5 when I got there so I called and she said no problem. We had no food in new unit so she told us to go to Hendrix in Spencer. Great choice. Great campground.
Very easy to find as it is right off I85 and they have signs pointing you to the campground. We camped in a 38' motorhome. Easy to maneuver to get to sites. Very clean and friendly. Staff make you feel at home.
Will definitely be back. - phynst

We stopped here for a mid-week overnight and were one of only a handful of campers. Rate shown included a 50% discount for Passport America. Our site was a pull-through which was convenient as we didn't have to disconnect the towed. The owner stopped by after we arrived to collect the fee. The site was level and had full hookups, including cable service. The site is a very short distance off I-85 and very convenient for through travelers. - Jay Rutherford

Wonderful park with a great atmosphere. We stayed here over the weekend and were blown away. Very nice CG with great owners and campers alike. Pool was open even though we stayed after Labor Day and was clean and up to date. The Playground where my daughter spent most of her time was very large and clean and had plenty for her to do. WIFI worked great and the cable was pretty good too. We will stay here again and we recommend it to anyone. Only about 30 mins from Concord Mills and plenty of other local attractions. - ljsdes
