Weekly rate was for 50 amp with full hookups. Driveways and the pads were gravel. We were put in a back-in site even though pull throughs were available. I think they were shutting down the pull throughs because the park closes November 1. Utilities are at the back of the site so you need long connections. Water pressure was 50 psi so you need a pressure regulator. There were 64 channels of cable TV including a guide channel, 10 sports channels, 7 black screen with no sound channels and one Spanish channel. We had free, pass worded WiFi service with good strength and good response times. There was a picnic table. Sewer connections were screw in. ATT phone service was 3 out of 5 bars; Verizon was 4 out of 5 bars. Look carefully after dark; the front sign is not lit. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley has over 250 rare antique American motorcycles and automobiles in running condition.

Jon Clegg, owner at Cross Creek RV Park responded to this review

Thank you for your review. Jim, our host, is a great guy.
Some people had problems with the sewer location on the new sites, so we worked to fix that this spring, and moved some of them closer. We will do more next spring.
Our WiFi has been a big hit, and became overloaded at peak times, so we doubled our capacity and added another tower and antenna. We are now at 400mb/s in the park. 3mb/s max each connection, enough to stream video. 440 max connections.
AT&T cell is weak in the park, so try the WiFi, it should work.
Thanks again. Hope to see you soon.

This price reflects a daily rate. We have stayed at this park before and are impressed with the improvements. The narrow entrance drive has been widened to make it easy for big rigs to enter. The new section has long sites which are designed like pull thrus; however, they can accommodate back to back rigs if necessary. The sites in the new section are more spacious than in the original section. Good 50 amps. A block away from US 19 so no road noise. Adult park with no restrooms or pool. Helpful personnel. Great location to see the surrounding area. We actually saw an elk outside our RV!! Best adult spot in Maggie Valley. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Harrah's Cherokee Casino, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Biltmore House, Wheels Through Time Museum, Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of hiking and exploring in the beautiful mountains.

We were here for five months. The park is clean and a good value. However no activities provided. Plenty to do and see outside of park, especially the Blue Ridge Parkway. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Maggie Valley has all kinds of shops. Close to Cherokee, NC. a casino ; and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Waynesville is close and where most shopping is done. Asheville is only about 45 minutes away also.

Quiet park near town. Valley views. New owners are expanding to about 115 sites. No pull thru sites now. They posted a new site map, with sort of pull thru sites. WiFi is great now. They posted new rates. $40 and up daily. Weekly and Monthly look good. No washrooms, pool, and no tents. Level gravel sites. Nice grass. New dog run. Only open May thru Oct. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a convenient RV park for self contained units. There are no restrooms or showers and the Wi-Fi works well at the laundry/pavilion but is weak or non working at sites. All sites are level with crushed rock pads and grass and a small tree between sites. Creek front sites are all permanent residents. We are spending a month here for $425 in a fifth wheel enjoying the fall foliage and many craft festivals. We will camp here again. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
