We were parked close to Valley River, which is on the west side of the park. There's a small branch that goes through the middle of the park. Well shaped, very quiet, it has large area for dog walk. It has a asphalt drive that goes from the entrance to the exit. Paved Streets, we love this park. This is the best park in Murphy NC, bar none. The park is well maintained. We stayed here for six weeks. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Private, quiet, love it. Great place, close to Murphy, close to the Casino, Wal-Mart. I had a problem with my dash air conditioner and I found a place downtown that checked it out and repaired it. VERY reasonable. I do not recommend the RV shop on the west side of Murphy.

Overall Rating:

This is a clean, quiet, adult only park. It is small (about 23 spots), but it
is nicely maintained and the park host is very friendly and helpful. All the spots are on the river or the creek. It is pretty close to Hwy. 74, but we had no problem with highway noise. The cable TV is basic and the Wi-Fi works if you have a spot fairly close to the office. The sites are level. They are pet friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The first Friday of the month, they have a sidewalk art show in Murphy. We ate twice at the Parson's Pub, which was very good.

We stayed here for 8 nights while attending John C. Campbell Folk School. Owner was terrific! Small campground but wonderfully kept. Most had water, electric, sewer, cable tv, and potential telephone. A few (3?) did not have sewer, but they did have a dump station if needed. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry were spotlessly clean. Site #12 has a great river view, but no sewer. We moved to 19 later and that was nice too. Our friends were in #20 and it is probably the best overall site, although all of them are nice. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Murphy is a great little city. Nice river walk and farmers market on Saturday. Many nice restaurants. John C. Campbell Folk School nearby.

This is a very nice and clean park. All sites are on the river or creek. Site 12 is the best except for the highway noise. Beautiful setting if you can get past the road noise. Sites 21, 22 & 23 are on the creek, back in sites and further away from the main highway. If it wasn't for the road noise, I would give this park a 10. Tips for other Campers:

Cherhola parkway was a great scenic drive but make sure you have gas and time. Tallico Kats just outside Tallico Plains was a very nice lunch stop with deck overlooking the Tallico River and delicious sandwiches. About 5 miles from Tallico Kats is Bald River Falls which can be viewed from the road with a parking area and is wonderful! New casino in Murphy. Andrews and Murphy an easy drive.

Overall Rating:

Small adult only RV park right on the Peace River. Sites were nice and shady and gravel covered. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
Park was close to Rt. 19/74 but road noise was not noticeable. Some site back right up to river.
TV cable was very good. Wifi a little slow.
Less than a mile to the new casino (Eastern band Cherokee Indians, Harras) that opened in Murphy if you are the gambling type. We are not but did stroll through.
We would camp here again. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed here three times, for about a week at a time within the last two months. This park is very scenic, quiet and relaxing! The owners are very friendly, and work extremely hard to keep it clean. They are out raking up the fall leaves every day. They collect our garbage bags each morning, and are very helpful with giving directions to places of interest, as well as to the grocery stores, local eateries, post office and downtown area. We definitely recommend this park, and plan to return, whenever we're in the area. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Very Adult again but not as well kept as it used to be. No one under 18. If you like quiet this is the place. They even added gravel to our entry area to stay clean. Has stream trees and lightning bugs. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night. Very friendly, helpful people. Very pretty and clean park with two creeks running through the park. Showers and restrooms were spotless. Sites were level gravel, wide and plenty of room. Easy in and out of the park. Very pretty area. Will stay here again. We camped at Peachtree Cove RV Park (formerly Creekside RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.
