36' Class A pulling compact car. Spent two days. Google Maps has address wrong so keep going another 1/2 mi and you'll see the sign/gate. Park is now named "Oasis of North Carolina". No issues maneuvering around park. Most spots are pull-thru. Longer rigs would be fine as long as you avoid spots 1-5 as they are too narrow to turn into. 50A on all spots. Very quiet here with no real amenities which is fine for us. Bath house (toilet/shower/washer/dryer) was a bit unfinished but very clean. Trails are short but nice. Closest food is 10 miles to Laurinburg. A few negatives: Picnic table was not safe due to rotted wood joints. No WiFi - the owner's unapologetic answer to this was that we could just use the computer in his home or go buy a hotspot (website indicates WiFi available). Grass was cut but overall the park seemed a bit unkempt with tall weeds and a few old piles of brush. Check-in was simple but a very messy office in the owners house gave the impression of poor management. Online registration did not work and owner didn't know why. Quite a few RV dogs here and all seemed well behaved with one exception: The park asks that all pets remain leashed while the park owners' dogs are allowed to run wild. If you like to chase dogs out of your RV and watch them poop under your window, this place is for you. No attempt was made to pick up after these specific dogs. This place has only the stuff you need. The low rating is for the dogs and the "take it or leave it" attitude from the owner. We consider this poor customer service from an RV park. We camped at Oasis of North Carolina (formerly Long Leaf Pine Oasis) in a Motorhome.

Park is now known as Oasis of North Carolina. Nothing special about this park but really the only thing within the Pinehurst area. We were here to visit friends so were not looking for amenities other than hookups, which is about all this park has going for it. The roads are dirt, weeds, and gravel with the sites being sand, dirt, and gravel. They have cleaned up the park since our visit last year so it appears they are trying. Sites are all different sizes. Most are back ins. We got site 6 which is a very long pull through and will allow you to get a satellite signal if you position your rig properly. Wi-Fi is free but is really slow. If you need to be in this area I would say it is a good place to stop, but don't expect much. We camped at Oasis of North Carolina (formerly Long Leaf Pine Oasis) in a Fifth Wheel.

Although the owners were very nice and seemed to be trying to get the grounds in order, it was not well organized. The office was a cluttered computer room in their home, which made it crowded when two people showed up to register about the same time. If you are looking to just spend a say or two and aren't concerned with amenities, then this place is fine. otherwise, no so much. The "dog area" had grass about 3 foot high... not so good for little dogs, (dogs are supposed to be leashed, but theirs run free) their site talks about domes to rent... we only saw one in the campground, which is small enough to see everything from one site. Need to have garbage picked up around the grounds and in the garbage area. Hook ups are all new. Website registering seemed to cause them some confusion, even though it was a link from their website. Oh well, nice people, small place with no real amenities other than hook-ups. We camped at Oasis of North Carolina (formerly Long Leaf Pine Oasis) in a Fifth Wheel.

Pretty spartan RV park. Had a "Rocky Mountain Cabana" for the bathroom. No showers etc. Other than that it was a fairly nice park with the staff real friendly. OK for a stop over for a night. We camped at Oasis of North Carolina (formerly Long Leaf Pine Oasis) in a Motorhome.

Sites are sand/gravel and scattered haphazardly around the area rather than well defined. The campground is flat so the sites are level. 50 amp service worked well, but poor coverage for Verizon cell and air card. Campground Wi-Fi is free, but weak. No activities which is unusual for an Escapees park. Owner is very friendly and helpful. He said he bought the campground 3 years ago and has done much to improve, however with the exception of full hookups, it is rustic camping in a "cleared out" forest. 90% of campers are working at the power plant nearby. There are no rest rooms or showers which didn't bother us since we're self-contained. Nearest shopping is 15-20 minutes away. Rate reflects a weekly rate of $150/Wk. A "Plain Jane" campground with no amenities and we will probably not stay here again. We camped at Oasis of North Carolina (formerly Long Leaf Pine Oasis) in a Fifth Wheel.
