Very nice campground (the bathhouse was nicer than my bathroom at home). The manager was very helpful & accommodating. Nice road & sites. My only complaint was lots of red mud, but that couldn't be helped as the ground had just been aerated & seeded right before a big rain. We were also allowed to use the clubhouse which our group enjoyed. Very pet friendly & nice playground for children. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a wonderful find! Campground was within 4 miles of I-40 in a beautiful country setting yet convenient to all sorts of shopping and dining. Gravel roads inside park; long, level sites with a good amount of space between sites. The owners were a delight to work with and very accommodating for any needs our group had. Bath houses were unusually nice and very clean. For some odd reason, the park map on their website is incorrect so double check with them when selecting your site. Hopefully, this oversight will be corrected soon. No cable in the park but we were able to pull 41 channels with our antenna. Great place, our group is planning on going back often. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tanger Outlets, Wal-Mart very close.
Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $38.00
Very nice and clean campground. I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 because it is still new and being developed in some areas. Talking to management revealed plans to eventually build a dog park and maybe a pool. They have a small playground good for younger kids. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value within 30-40 minutes driving distance of Durham, Chapel Hill, and Greensboro. It is about an hour to Raleigh. We will camp here again. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
5-10 minutes drive to Tanger outlets, Wal-Mart, Lowe's Foods, Lowes home improvement, and several local restaurants yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.
Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $38.00
Neat and clean, large sites. Easy to park, many pull-thru. Pretty and quiet setting. Owners very friendly and helpful. Anxious to come back in summer when the leaves are on the trees. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This campground is a hidden jewel. There are plans for a Phase II in the future. The owner has put a lot of work into it and it shows. He will even come to your campsite and blow the leaves off with a blower if you desire. He patrols often with a golf cart. Site pads are all gravel as is the interior roads. All sites have picnic tables. A couple of sites have a nice swing with a concrete pad. Lots of shade trees. Satellite access can be iffy but you must choose your site. Verizon access is excellent. Some are more level than others. Pull through sites are long. Office is brand new and has a small meeting room with kitchen facilities. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I could go on and on but enough said. We love it here and will return. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We really enjoyed this park. It is very new, and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. They came by twice during our first few days to make sure everything was okay for us. Almost all the sites are long and wide, with lots of room between them. All roads and sites are covered with a thick layer of gravel. Utilities are nice and new, and the water faucets are enclosed in tall PVC pipes - which I assume are insulated - and the pipe is designed so campers can hang their unused hose on it so it doesn't lie on the ground. The final touches on the bath house are still being completed, but it was open and usable when we were there. Very, very nice inside. The campground is just three easy miles from I-40 and only about four miles from downtown Mebane, which has some interesting shops and restaurants. Right at the interstate exit are outlet stores, restaurants and a Wal-Mart and Lowe's Foods grocery store. The campground is also in a convenient area for visiting Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh. We will definitely camp there again. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This is a great RV Park. Sites are level, clean, and all utilities are very well situated. We only spent one night, but will be back as this park is a good "first days drive" from home in Virginia during our treks south. Host are friendly and helpful. Great Experience! $15 + elec based on monthly rate. This is a great park and no train noise. It is 10 mins from I-40/85 & easy to find. Mebane is a charming town ideally located between Burlington and Chapel Hill/Durham (15-20 Mins). Pilot & Flying J, Tanger Outlet Mall, Walmart & Lowe's food, several good restaurants are very close. Alamance Urgent Care & Duke Primary medical care available. The owners are the best; friendly, helpful, and responsive. Sites are blue stone. All sites are nice, long, and level. The utilities are new so they are clean. Excellent WiFi is better than most public systems. The park is fairly new so the owners are at the park everyday making improvements. No permanent residents were observed. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Electricity is in addition to monthly rate stated. This park was a wonderful "find" for us as it is new and only 4 miles from our son. It is 3 miles from Route 40/85 so it is easy to commute to other areas such as Duke in Durham and UNC in Chapel Hill. Mebane itself has great shopping and restaurants within 2-3 miles from campground. Water here excellent quality. Contaminate level equivalent to bottled water. Trash pick-up at site. Our AT&T and Satellite TV worked well. Excellent WIFI. Fire Pits and New Picnic tables at each site. Many shaded sites and some open sites (which we perfer). Nice new play area for children. New bath house in process of being build. Owners very personable and helpful. We will definitely return here when we come to this area. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

The owner met us after hours at our site to assure we were comfortable. The property is new and the owners have spare no expense. It is obvious they truly care about the place. Close to history, wineries yet still secluded. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

The cost per night is $15 plus electricity for a monthly stay. We absolutely loved our stay. The site was large and roomy. As the spring trees came out it was shady. We stayed for 2 months and could not have been happier. The campgrounds is a work in progress as it's brand new but it was exactly what we needed. It's just close enough to shopping and events and just far enough to be secluded and quiet. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
