This park is about as good as it gets for places that don't claim they are "destination parks." It is located in an attractive rural neighborhood of Mebane that is only ~3 miles from the interstate. All roads and sites are a thick layer of gravel. Our site was nearly level side to side but had a bit of a front to back slant. The sites were more than long enough for our 40' MH plus our toad and were considerably wider than the norm for private parks. The park is clean; all sites appeared to be well maintained. It is open all year and weekly/monthly rates are available. The owners are a very nice local couple. We have family in the RTP/Cary area and this will now be our preferred park for our visits. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
There's excellent shopping at Exit 154 both for food and other necessities of life. There are major truck stops at the next exits on either side.

Location is about 1 1/2 miles off I-85. Lovely, new park with very friendly owners. Each site is very spacious and level. Our site had lots of trees (trimmed high), level gravel pad, and excellent hookups. Under the trees were shredded mulch and vegetation to give you a degree of privacy. WiFi was good; good Verizon cell signal. This park is within easy distance to shopping, medical, grocery, etc. Its a real gem to find when on the road. This park does tend to fill up quickly. So if you know you will be passing through, I suggest make a reservation. We would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

The only reasons I can't rate this place a 10 is due to a lack of a swimming pool, spas, and other amenities. Other than that, this is a wonderful place with great owners. The park is super clean, gravel roads, long level pull through sites that will handle the biggest rigs. Fairly east access off of I-85/40. If you are passing through, this place is worth your stop. Yes, we would stay here again for sure! We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Located in a residential area a few miles off the freeway. Easy to navigate. CG roads are gravel. Friendly, accommodating owners. Back in site that accommodated our 35' DP. Room to park our toad sideways in front. Site was shaded by large trees. Gravel surface. Included picnic table and fire ring. We could not get satellite service and they do not have cable.
General description of other sites: A mix of shaded and open, sunny sites. Many sites are large pull throughs. Gravel surface. Lots of nice landscaping around. WiFi was not good. No charge.
Very quiet. Far removed from freeway so no road noise at all.
Pets are allowed. There is a large grassy area designated for dogs to run. Large playground. Nice, clean, brand new shower house. One Rules of note: No visible alcohol. However, no one asked to inspect the contents of my red solo cup.
Very nice for a long term stay. There were a few longer term residents but no permanent decks or other structures/ storage. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
About 35 minutes to Durham. We stayed here to attend the ACC baseball championship. It was the nicest CG in the area that we could find that has full hookups.
I loved this park, the best one on my journey north. County living with plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. Management was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms/showers are pristine. ATT reception was excellent. I stayed for a week, would have stayed longer if I didn't have other commitments. Rate is the weekly rate. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Stayed here for an overnight stop, place was relatively close to I-85. The owners keep the grounds very clean and the restroom and shower facilities were spotless. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has only been open for about 1.5yrs. They are still growing and don't have a lot of amenities, yet. They plan on adding them in the near future. This is a convenient location and a scenic locale. The sites are spacious and the staff is very friendly. Would definitely come back. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a wonderful find! Campground was within 4 miles of I-40 in a beautiful country setting yet convenient to all sorts of shopping and dining. Gravel roads inside park; long, level sites with a good amount of space between sites. The owners were a delight to work with and very accommodating for any needs our group had. Bath houses were unusually nice and very clean. For some odd reason, the park map on their website is incorrect so double check with them when selecting your site. Hopefully, this oversight will be corrected soon. No cable in the park but we were able to pull 41 channels with our antenna. Great place, our group is planning on going back often. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground (the bathhouse was nicer than my bathroom at home). The manager was very helpful & accommodating. Nice road & sites. My only complaint was lots of red mud, but that couldn't be helped as the ground had just been aerated & seeded right before a big rain. We were also allowed to use the clubhouse which our group enjoyed. Very pet friendly & nice playground for children. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $38.00
Very nice and clean campground. I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 because it is still new and being developed in some areas. Talking to management revealed plans to eventually build a dog park and maybe a pool. They have a small playground good for younger kids. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value within 30-40 minutes driving distance of Durham, Chapel Hill, and Greensboro. It is about an hour to Raleigh. We will camp here again. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
5-10 minutes drive to Tanger outlets, Wal-Mart, Lowe's Foods, Lowes home improvement, and several local restaurants yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.
Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $38.00
Neat and clean, large sites. Easy to park, many pull-thru. Pretty and quiet setting. Owners very friendly and helpful. Anxious to come back in summer when the leaves are on the trees. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $35.00
This campground is a hidden jewel. There are plans for a Phase II in the future. The owner has put a lot of work into it and it shows. He will even come to your campsite and blow the leaves off with a blower if you desire. He patrols often with a golf cart. Site pads are all gravel as is the interior roads. All sites have picnic tables. A couple of sites have a nice swing with a concrete pad. Lots of shade trees. Satellite access can be iffy but you must choose your site. Verizon access is excellent. Some are more level than others. Pull through sites are long. Office is brand new and has a small meeting room with kitchen facilities. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I could go on and on but enough said. We love it here and will return. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed this park. It is very new, and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. They came by twice during our first few days to make sure everything was okay for us. Almost all the sites are long and wide, with lots of room between them. All roads and sites are covered with a thick layer of gravel. Utilities are nice and new, and the water faucets are enclosed in tall PVC pipes - which I assume are insulated - and the pipe is designed so campers can hang their unused hose on it so it doesn't lie on the ground. The final touches on the bath house are still being completed, but it was open and usable when we were there. Very, very nice inside. The campground is just three easy miles from I-40 and only about four miles from downtown Mebane, which has some interesting shops and restaurants. Right at the interstate exit are outlet stores, restaurants and a Wal-Mart and Lowe's Foods grocery store. The campground is also in a convenient area for visiting Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh. We will definitely camp there again. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
This is a great RV Park. Sites are level, clean, and all utilities are very well situated. We only spent one night, but will be back as this park is a good "first days drive" from home in Virginia during our treks south. Host are friendly and helpful. Great Experience! We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
The owner met us after hours at our site to assure we were comfortable. The property is new and the owners have spare no expense. It is obvious they truly care about the place. Close to history, wineries yet still secluded. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
