This place is like brand new! Large LEVEL sites, multiple pull-through. Playground is small but new. Owner was super nice! Would give it 10 but there's not much for kids to do. If you're looking for a quiet get away, this is your place! We loved it! We'll definitely be back! We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park! Excellent restrooms/showers. Quiet park for adults since there is very little for children other than a small playground. Owners and staff are pleasant and accommodating. The only negative is the well water quality. The water is yellow/orange due to iron or rust. If you have a washer/dryer in your RV, beware that your whites will turn yellow. Use a water pitcher with a filter for your drinking water. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved this park. We stayed here for 2 nites on our way to Asheville, NC. Easy access off of I-40. The office staff was wonderful. I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was vey very nice and gave us lots of information about the area. The bathroom was beautiful and very clean. I used the park shower instead of my RV since it was so nice. The park is very clean, very well maintained. We had a pull thru site which was level, we didn't have to do anything to level the RV. The sites are close but since we were only there for a short time it did not affect us. Very wooded sites. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, well laid out park only 3 years old. All utilities are good and wi-fi is strong. Gravel roads but well maintained and they are paving the entrance road so maybe more will be paved in the future. Sites are well spaced and quite a few have some shade. All seem level, Only thing missing in the hot summer would be a pool. We were not here for the campground as a destination, but rather for the area attractions so this was a very nice park for us. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is approximately 2 years old. The grounds and the setting are beautiful. We stayed here on our way to Asheville, NC from Virginia Beach, VA. The site we had en route was long enough fro our 36' travel trailer. The surface was gravel and for the most part fairly level. On our return from Asheville we stayed here again. For a campground that is this nice, I was surprised that there were no amenities. No ice for sale, no vending machines, etc. This is a great campground for an overnight stay. The staff was friendly and courteous. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

See April 2017 review. SInce then, entry road is now asphalt paved and owner is continually dressing the interior roads with new gravel. THis is the third time we've stayed here for an overnight and it continues to be a great place to stop. The office called me before I arrived to give me the site number and in park directions which were easy to follow. Office closes at 5 more or less and we've yet to actually see it staffed due to arriving late and leaving early. Wifi in the front was good with no issues. OTA TV gets you the basics and the front row or two should be OK for satellite. Hook ups are good but they can be a bit spread out and extensions might be needed. Gravel site was level enough to auto level. Pull throughs are long enough to stay connected to a tow. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice enough campground with fairly level gravel pull-through and back-in full hookup 30/50 amp sites. Farther off I-85 than we thought (maybe 5 miles). People are extremely nice and grounds are well kept. There are no amenities. This is just a place to park and $35.00 seems high. Would stay again if travelling through. Nice, relatively new, campground with large pull through sites. Our site, #31, was muddy in places and ground was soft so we had trouble getting level. Other sites looked better. Overall the grounds are well landscaped. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

It was hard to tell where our site differed from the road. We were at the end of a group of sites and it was quit small. We turned our rv the opposite of the regular setup and it worked better. We were very far from the bath house. We were in a newer section and no shade by us but close to a wooed area. we could not get wi-fi at our site but if we went down by the office it was good there. the staff was very nice. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

We turned our rv the opposite direction - felt like if we put out awning out someone coming up the road could hit it. Road and site seemed to be the same. could not tell road from site.

This has become a very busy place. We've been coming here about once a year since it opened. They recently added 20 more sites for a total 56 sites. No pool, small playground, nicely spaced sites in older section with landscaping. WiFi good, but drops. Lady running the place was nice but frazzled when we arrived on a Monday late morning asking for a spot. Luckily, someone pulled out of a nice long pull through just as we were trying to find a spot. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a relatively new, quiet, peaceful park that is a great place to stop on a trip or to base out of if working or visiting in the area. Not far from I-85 and GPS gets you there cleanly. Interior roads are gravel and the owner's are maintaining them with new material. Gravel is a little loose but time and campers will get it locked in. Site roads are narrow but passable with a big rig with tow although some turns may be challenging. We were able to get to our site and stay hooked but our departure would have been difficult if not for the empty pull through site across from us. All sites but one are full hook up and many are pull throughs. All sites are gravel and most appeared reasonably level. We had no trouble auto leveling without blocks. Sewer connections for some sites will take a longer hose. Sites are typically spaced for a commercial park but reasonable. All sites (but the one EW site) have picnic tables and an old steel wheel as a fire pit. Bath house is new and clean. New playground for any smaller kids but other than that we didn't notice any activities but then again we just stopped overnight going and coming while on a trip. Late arrival s were easily accommodated. Did not try the wifi but saw the antennas. Over the air TV reception was reasonable. Sites are in open or loose woods and noticed a few satellite dishes up and in use. Pet friendly. Will definitely come again if in the area. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for one night. It is located in a rural area west of Durham, NC off I-40. This is a new park and is surrounded by woods. The sites and interior roads are crushed rock separated by lawn and mulched areas with trees. Our pull-through site had plenty of room. The park was pretty and very peaceful. No cable TV and too many trees for satellite, but lots of TV stations over the antenna from the Releigh-Durham area. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new park in a nice rural location near Mebane, NC. They have a mix of back-in and pull-through full hookup sites. There are several sites that can handle long rigs. The roads and sites are all gravel with minor grades in some sites. There are lots of trees in and around the park. The park-provided wifi varied from slow to good. There was a fair Verizon cell signal available. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.
