We only spent a night here and it was fine. Check-in was easy, and the host was personable. Interior roads and sites are gravel - pretty thick in some places. The interior roads are tight for larger rigs towing but doable. We had to do some fancy footwork to get into our site without unhooking the tow. It is predominately long term and/or seasonal. All sites are neat and tidy though. Most sites are surrounded by trees but there are a few that have more sun. All sites looked close to level if not spot on level. There is decent spacing with some are better than others. We had trees between us and the next site. Directv locked on but there was lots of interference to the point that we just stopped watching. We could not get WII FI in our site. Verizon was 4g 3 bars so we used our hotspot. It was quiet at night, and we would stay here again. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

What a wonderful RV park. Easy access. About 5 miles to downtown Mebane. Half an hour from Chapel Hill and Durham. Forty minutes from Raleigh. There are great college campuses to drive around - UNC, Duke, NC State. Blount Street in Raleigh has historical homes including the governor’s residence. The street passes the state capitol which is has monuments to many in the grounds and is interesting to walk through. The NC Museum of Art is very large. A great way to spend a day or few hours. An exhibit of Georgia O’Keefe paintings and works by emerging artists inspired by her work as well as a photographer’s large prints of various places in Mexico City were a special exhibit. It is there until January, 2019. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This lovely park is well kept with very friendly, helpful owners. We just needed a site for one night & were put in the overflow space, which we were very grateful for. Our hookups were good. Roads & our site were gravel. Restrooms were very clean. The grounds are meticulously kept. We had to work a bit to get level, and some sites might be more level than others. The park is quiet in a lovely country setting, and we would return. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second stay at this RV park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sites are stone and pretty much level. The entire park is very well maintained. It's to bad that they do not have a pool. It would be a great place to just kick back in the pool and soak up the rays. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed a brief stay while visiting the Chapel Hill area. Nice quiet park. Check in was great. Everyone we talked to was very friendly. There are many longtimers here, but all the sites are neat and everything is well maintained. Only issues were couldn't connect to the internet, and the power pole was at the front of our pull thru site, our power is on the rear of coach. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a magnificently maintained RV park. Every site, except one, is a 50-amp full-hookup site with most appearing to be quite level. We happened to be in the one site without sewer when we stayed during a holiday weekend. The entire park is groomed with white gravel with plenty of room for maneuvering. The showers and restrooms are immaculate. It is not a park that provides organized activities for children. But it was an outstanding spot for two adults like us. Although the park is on a back road, there are many excellent commercial areas within a five-mile radius. We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very nice and clean RV Park. Not the best for kids but they do have a playground for them. Site was very level and water, sewer, and electricity were in perfect locations. I did put service at 4 stars vs. 5 stars because they closed their store at 5pm on Saturday but the actual service was exceptional. For a quiet getaway this is a nice park. We stopped here for one night on our way home. Although it is actually only a few miles from I40, it is on country roads so seems a ways off. Luckily GPS finds it easily. The park is immaculate with garbage pick up at the sites twice a day. Our site was very long and, although sloped down in the front, was long enough for our 40' motorhome and tow vehicle to park before reaching the slope making it easy to level. It was very quiet the night we were there which was very welcome. The one thing they lacked was a fenced in area for dogs. There appears to be plenty of room to add one. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

This place is like brand new! Large LEVEL sites, multiple pull-through. Playground is small but new. Owner was super nice! Would give it 10 but there's not much for kids to do. If you're looking for a quiet get away, this is your place! We loved it! We'll definitely be back! We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park! Excellent restrooms/showers. Quiet park for adults since there is very little for children other than a small playground. Owners and staff are pleasant and accommodating. The only negative is the well water quality. The water is yellow/orange due to iron or rust. If you have a washer/dryer in your RV, beware that your whites will turn yellow. Use a water pitcher with a filter for your drinking water. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved this park. We stayed here for 2 nites on our way to Asheville, NC. Easy access off of I-40. The office staff was wonderful. I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was vey very nice and gave us lots of information about the area. The bathroom was beautiful and very clean. I used the park shower instead of my RV since it was so nice. The park is very clean, very well maintained. We had a pull thru site which was level, we didn't have to do anything to level the RV. The sites are close but since we were only there for a short time it did not affect us. Very wooded sites. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

See April 2017 review. SInce then, entry road is now asphalt paved and owner is continually dressing the interior roads with new gravel. THis is the third time we've stayed here for an overnight and it continues to be a great place to stop. The office called me before I arrived to give me the site number and in park directions which were easy to follow. Office closes at 5 more or less and we've yet to actually see it staffed due to arriving late and leaving early. Wifi in the front was good with no issues. OTA TV gets you the basics and the front row or two should be OK for satellite. Hook ups are good but they can be a bit spread out and extensions might be needed. Gravel site was level enough to auto level. Pull throughs are long enough to stay connected to a tow. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is approximately 2 years old. The grounds and the setting are beautiful. We stayed here on our way to Asheville, NC from Virginia Beach, VA. The site we had en route was long enough fro our 36' travel trailer. The surface was gravel and for the most part fairly level. On our return from Asheville we stayed here again. For a campground that is this nice, I was surprised that there were no amenities. No ice for sale, no vending machines, etc. This is a great campground for an overnight stay. The staff was friendly and courteous. We camped at Jones Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
