Overall Rating:

We stayed here on a 4 day weekend in early October. Every weekend of October has Halloween celebrations - be ready for lots of kids trick or treating. This is a very kid oriented park. Lots for children to do activity wise. We arrived on Thursday and had the camp mostly to ourselves but it was packed for the weekend. Many campers had golf carts in frequent use. The pools were clean and the water park play area well kept. The park is about an hour from Myrtle Beach - lots of things to see and do in surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again in off season and school in session. The sites are somewhat close but plenty of room to extend awnings and set out chairs. Had a level concrete pad for our trailer. No problems with noisy neighbors and "quiet time" was quiet. Cable tv worked well and no issues with wifi. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding area. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Travel Trailer.

We had a great time and a great RV Resort. They have an awesome water park for the kids and 2 other pools including 1 indoors. Everyday they have activities for the kids to do. They even had a surprised birthday for Yogi Bear. The park is very clean and front office very accommodating. The family fished is the very large lake and we met new friends. We booked 2 weeks for next year. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful resort CG. Concrete pad extra long spaces. When arriving at night had to use a flashlight to find our site due to the fact there were no outside lights. Being out of season sparsely populated. Scenic site facing the large pond. This CG is spotless. Nice scenic area to walk and bike ride on very long paths. Small dog park, fence is not 100% secure as the bottom is not in the ground. Two pools and a splash pool. Great to bring the kids who would love the playground. Definitely a destination CG. We only stayed one night as we had reservations in another city but if not for that we would have stayed longer. Staff was helpful to arrange and accommodate our late arrival. IMPORTANT POINT: Put in RICHARD WRIGHT Road in your GPS. We carelessly put in Wright and there is a Wright road also and had to backtrack. l We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay but a little pricey for me. Everything was kept clean and grass mowed. Our trash was picked up every day. Hook-ups were easy and placed in good spot. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

I have only great things to say about Daddy Joe's. We had a ton of fun here over Labor Day weekend. We were supposed to arrive on Friday but tropical storm Hermine delayed our arrival until Saturday, as was the case with numerous guests. Daddy Joe graciously extended Monday's checkout time until 5:00 to make up for it. Wow! That really meant a lot for them to ensure their guests' satisfaction, especially since we didn't ask or expect it!

There's seriously so much to do here. Water attractions, basketball, mini golf, so many stocked ponds for fishing, a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices, planned activities for the kids, an ice creamery, a gift shop/camp store and more!

Our sites (38 & 39) were nicely spaced with concrete pads and a well maintained yard. No shade (there are shaded sites as you enter the park but they're further away from the amenities) so we caught the afternoon/evening sun on the patio side. But with our screen shade we were quite comfortable with low humidity & mid 80 degree temps.

We're planning a group trip for Memorial Day 2017 with RV friends and will be staying in one of the quad sites (so cool!) and others that will be staying in the tent sites and cabins. It's so awesome to have found a place that keeps the kids so busy and has accommodations for us and all our friends!!

Daddy Joe's is my new favorite! They really know what it takes to plan and maintain a campground to make for a positive camping experience!! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Travel Trailer.

By far our favorite family park, the kids love this place. The staff are always courteous and attentive, check-in is quick and easy. The park is clean, well kept, and the amenities are top notch. There is plenty to do here, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, mini golf, and the creamery. The grill and camp store are very convenient. The sites are close together but still give plenty of room for parking and activity. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Travel Trailer.

We are new to the RV camping. Have tent camped for years. (Finally upgraded ;-) ) So that being said this is just our second site camping in our new RV. But from the very beginning it was better than our first. Check in was a breeze. All lots are level concrete pads, with full hook ups and even cable tv. Our site overlooked the lake! Only complaint might be wifi is very strained due to so many people using it, but we were camping so not that big of a deal. The park it's self is pretty nice. Three pools, a splash pad, inflatable water slide, basketball court, sand volleyball, jumping pillow, nice mini golf course. Most roads are paved, great for bike rides. Lots of activities for the kids to choose from. Many fishing ponds. One thing you MUST do is go to the Creamery! So GOOD! This park has set the bar very high! The kids are already wanting to go back, and so are we! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Travel Trailer.

My family loves Daddy Joe's! The staff is extremely friendly. They always acknowledge us as repeat customers. As a family of 5, they don't charge us for being more than a family of 4. My boys love to fish, swim, bike, and enjoy the outside movie. The park is clean, sites are spacious, and guests are valued. Highly recommend! Not knowing the area or campground, we booked here for 3 months. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised! We picked this campground being so close to South Carolina Border. This place is great, Sites are all paved and level pads, trimmed grass everywhere, plenty of room for 40 ft RV and car with room to spare. The staff is more than willing to help and even stop by to make sure everything is OK! The past 2 weekends every site and cabin booked, they put on Halloween themed weekends, and boy do they ever! Kids and adults all had fun! Snowbirds for $375 a month plus electric @ $.11/kWh, this is the place you want to be! No run down trailers or additions on campers! Only 40 min to Myrtle Beach! I am so pleased we found them. Feel totally safe here! Thank you for the hospitality to the owner and staff! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Motorhome.

We are full time RVers, travel 12 months a year volunteering. After doing this for several years we decided to take a few months rest. We actually stayed here 2 and 1/2 months and can say this is a really great park. Extremely clean, great staff, large paved mostly pull thru sites, all level, grass at each, no mud, most roads paved with the rest scheduled for paving. As one reviewer pointed out only a few shaded sites as most are in the open with no shade. Since our stay here started in early February we wanted sun because this winter/early spring was still quite cold so wanted the benefit of the sun. This park is family owned and slowly but surely being upgraded even more. Trees have been planted at every site put still too small to provide shade. Beautiful large clean pool that seems quite new. Open all year but restaurant and store open around Easter. Ice cream parlor too. The rate was very reasonable at $350 per month with extended stays paying electric at 11 cents per KWH which we found to be very reasonable when compared to many parks that charge 14 to 15 cents per. We have stayed at many parks during our travels and this is one of the very best. Lakes, fishing, lots of activities during high season. Most of the off season visitors are there for several months from up north. No junky trash RVs seen. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Motorhome.

Very nice park that is located driving distance to South Carolina beaches. Nice and clean facilities with large lots and clean restrooms and showers. Nice sized water park with slides and multiple pools. Park seems to be geared towards families with kids. There were a lot of teenagers when went during the summer time. When we camped here during the winter was few campers there so was nice and quiet. We did not have a camper on our whole row. This is without a doubt one of the best parks that we have traveled to. We will be going here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If there you are there during the summer try the ice cream parlor. I've also heard goo things about the local restaurants all though I've never tired any of them. The Todd House is supposed to be good country style food.

We camped on a quad with 3 other units/friends. The quads are wonderful when you are camping with friends, lots of community area. We played mini golf, ate ice cream, played candy bar BINGO. One of the top parks that I have visited. Family friendly a lot of activities for kids. The Creamery is a must stop if you are at this CG. Nice pools and amenities. The bathrooms are very spacious. The CG is not located in prime location; however, you can visit Myrtle Beach about 40 minutes away. Has a Food Loin and a few fast food places near by. The first 15 PREMIUM SITES are great! Long back in concrete slabs with shade, picnic table, fire ring and plenty of parking. As you leave these sites, you venture into a wide open space with not a tree in sight. Great for cool days but not for the "hot" days of summer. There are two pools with the third one under construction. Pools are very small and the new is not any better, and over crowded. The water was a cloudy greenish color, so I chose not to enter. Had a water slide, but it was opened only certain hours. Splash area for the kids, and they seemed to enjoy. Planned activities for the kids with Yogi. We brought our golf cart, and was charged a $40 fee that is good for six months. Nothing on a nightly or weekly fee. Other CG in the area charge $10 for the year. Park also had a miniature golf for additional $5-7 per person. One small volleyball court, two horse shoe pits and a new addition of BOUNCE PILLOW, only open certain hours. It is owned by a local family, and they seem to be putting proceeds back into the campground. I understand the cost of operations, but to nickel and dime the guest after paying a hefty nightly fee is wrong. Best plus, is the lakes for fishing. All the kids enjoyed catching the trophy fish and releasing them for another day, but not without a kiss. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Daddy Joe's in a Motorhome.
