We have camped here before and were sorely disappointed to learn the this campground will be closing down for good at the end of October. The property has been sold to a developer to create a gated Equine community. This is a real gem, very secluded. We camped here in late July when it was 95 degrees everywhere in the south and the temperature in this campground at 5:00 PM was only 72 degrees - felt so good. The management/owners are very helpful. If you get the chance, experience the unique campground before it is gone. We camped at Singing Waters Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is nestled in a valley between two mountains. It is very shaded and we had perfect temperatures (70-72) even though we were camping in August. The staff and owners are quite friendly and make you feel like one of the family. There are group activities on weekends, a (pay) trout pond and 20 miles in either direction are nice little towns with gift shops, restaurants, etc... The park is level, which is unusual in the mountains. Lots of trees, and some backing is tight, but the owner will help guide you into your spot. Expect a strain on your engine to get there--and check those brakes, too! This was one of the most peaceful, relaxing camping trips ever! We will definitely make this a regular thing. We camped at Singing Waters Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here on two sites (13 campers total - 7 in tents and 6 in a travel trailer). Had a wonderful, very relaxing time. They have a beautiful campground with very natural surroundings. Lots of shade and very tall trees all around. There is a small pond for swimming and although they advertise on Woodalls that they have fishing, it is a stocked pond and will cost you much more than it's worth - believe me! The owners are nice, but do seem to nickel and dime you to death over some things. Charged 25 cents to purchase a ping pong ball to play on their table, charged us $5 for 10 minutes of use of an air compresser to blow up a flat tire. Aside from the penny pinching, the campground is very nice and would be a great relaxing vacation for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Although there were tons of kids there, we did not hear them - all was quiet in the evenings. There is also a playground for the kids to use, but not much for slightly older children to do. They were pet friendly, but no "vicious" breeds allowed. Tight drive to the campground, through Caesar's Head mountain, very long, narrow, windy roads. We will go back - but maybe next time without the little ones. We camped at Singing Waters Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
