Tips for other Campers:

Did not feel it was worth $45 a night. more like $35....Lots of permanent campers and no one is really making them keep their sites looking nice...dogs running free at night.

Will promise everything to get a reservation. We asked for open site (no trees) close to pool for grandkids. no such thing here with 50A FHU PT. We were given end site, wooded, unlevel. Owners were stand-off indifferent. Workcamper at office did not even render hello on arrival. Ridiculous $50 rate, $45 after 10% GoodSam. Not recommending this park. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Campground is convenient to the interstate and the manager was chatty and engaging. Sites are a little rustic. Restrooms are below average. The area is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but there is a good little diner that is pretty rustic with good down-home type food near the interstate. The campground is overpriced for what it is. This was the highest priced site we hit on the trip from the northeast to FL. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stopped here on our way to FL. The campground is a bit rustic but nice. No one here to greet us or guide us to our site. He did show up after we parked and offered some local advice. That said, the site was fairly level, pull through and long enough so we did not need to unhook the TV. The cost IMHO is a bit high for what you get. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Just an overnight stay on way further south. Paid $40.00, with $5 discount for Good Sam. Price too high for what we got. That said, we had a 60 foot site, so we didn't have to unhook Toad. Electric was good, as was water. Campground was only about 1-2 miles of I-77. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

The only reason I gave an 8 review was no cable tv and I could not watch the Olympics :)

The park is very pretty, tree shaded level lots, green grass, lots of birds and 2 friendly park dogs. The owners are very nice and helpful. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Very, very un-level sites, very poor water pressure. Lots of trees so the satellite did not work; no cable. Gravel roads, gravel, clay and grass site. Pretty pastures, mostly full time campers. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

To me the Value and Service categories are irrelevant because the 'Bath House' was so bad. This place is primarily a year-round campground. There are a few sites that are available for short stay but it doesn't look like they get much use. It seems the focus here is on the fiddle concerts - nothing has been done to maintain the RV parking sites - we left after checking out the rest rooms and laundry. Fortunately I had not paid yet. We will not stop here again. Don't stop here unless you only need electric and can sleep the whole time you are there - BUT at $40 I suspect you will feel like that is a rip off. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed overnight off-season. Seems a pleasant and comfortable park. Utilities were fine including wifi. The restroom/showers were terrible. Fixtures were corroded and little privacy. May have been clean but it did not matter. This is a music park with events and may justify price at that time but not during the week in November. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Small, family run RV park. Over half of the sites are "Long termers". Electricity, water pressure, and Wi-Fi are weak. Traffic noise from I-77. Friendly staff escorted us to our site and allowed us to change when the site we were assigned to was next to a tent and a surplus army 2 1/2 ton truck still with army markings. Sites and roads are good gravel and sites were somewhat level. Some more than others. We have stayed here when the pool was open. It was large and clean. Some turns are tight for our 43' RV and some recent tree growth was close to the roof and slides. Nice, convenient over night stop campground. The owner stopped by to thank us for staying. We will stay here again. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We found this campground to be close to the interstate and Cowboy Town in Love Valley, N.C. a must visit if you are in the area. The campground interior roads are gravel and fairly well maintained, restrooms were clean, but dated. Some run down older travel trailers. All the utilities worked fine, the water pressure was good. They were having live Bluegrass music and a Pow Wow the day we were here. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean park, nicely mowed, grassy sites. We were able to park our 33 footer on a level site without having to unhook the truck for an overnight stay. That is 50+ feet of level driveway to park on. The host/owner was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Wi-Fi is excellent, that's what I am using as I type this. A gem of a campground right off of I-77. We will for sure return. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

In my opinion, not big rig friendly. My rig is 42'. Turn radii to small. 50 amp sites are few, and most have to close or low hanging limbs. Some sites not level, my rigs airbag leveling couldn't handle it. First time that's happened. People are very nice and helpful. Great place for walking dogs. Lots of open space. Very convenient to interstate. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Very easy access from I-77. The campground is clean and dirt/grass sites are fairly level. The owner led us to the site. This is a good spot for a night or longer, if need be. We will stay again. The pull-through are fine for a 42' motor home. As I recall, the Wi-Fi did not function. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Best value on I-77. Super people own/manage the park. Very nice pool. Only a few site are available as many are taken by seasonal or permanent. No site is level. Some shade. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Motorhome.
