This is the third one-night stay that we have made at this RV park in the past several years--all as stop-overs as we have headed north from Florida in the spring. It is a very convenient park for an overnight stay--just a mile off of I-95, but far enough away to avoid highway noise. The sites are level and gravel. The hookups are good, but the sewer input was at the far back of our site and required two hoses to reach it (about 25 feet). The numerous shade trees make the RV park beautiful, but it can make it difficult to get satellite reception in some of the pull-thru sites. The WiFi was sporadic and there is no recycling at the park. As I am not a fan of KOA parks, in general, so I am pleased that this park is no longer affiliated with KOA. From my perspective, it appears as though the entire RV park has been upgraded since leaving the KOA chain. We would definitely stay here again if we were traveling through the area. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campground as a one night stop on our way to DC. Very convienent to I95, easy off and on. Staff was very helpful as we did not have a reservation but they had plenty of space for us.
The campground looked very well maintained and our site was level and easy to get into.
We would choose to stay here longer if in the area again. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Large park and large sites, not crowded together. Utilities work well. You get shown to your site. Park is quiet. Lot of cabins and monthly sites but plenty of transient sites. Two dog parks. Nature trail added to park size gives you lots of room to walk. Plenty of trees. Very comfortable. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here 1 Month. 560+elec. This is mostly fulltimers, either stationed at Bragg or working there. It's a nice park, clean and quiet. Close to 95 but not too close. Wifi works pretty good, cable works as well. Sites are nice and spacious. Staff is friendly. 2 Pools, clubhouse and gym. Store is ok and has essentials. Down side is location. There is nothing close. Dunn is about 10 miles and Fayetteville is about 15. Roads are mix of pavement and rock. This park is under new ownership and is in the process of receiving more upgrades. But overall is pretty nice place. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Great stopover campground from I95. Staff is friendly. We had a nice level pull through site of gravel & grass. There was good space between lots and some shade. Sites had a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

A nice stopover off of I-95, very little road noise. Full hook-ups with excellent water pressure, electrical service, cable and wi-fi. With our stay being right in the middle of leaf dropping, they were thick and every where. We stayed on one of the two premium sites and everything was ankle deep in leaves. A campground worker did come on the second day of our two day stay and blow the leaves from right around our RV.

We noticed that a great deal of this campground seems to be long term campers, either by their monthly sites or by the numerous cabins that litter the campground throughout. It appears many may be workers in the area as they leave early in the morning and return later in the day. We were certainly not bothered by that at all. The campground was very quiet or at least it was during our stay.

We would stay again if in the area although we did feel the nightly rates were a bit high even for a premium site which we feel should have a complete concrete/asphalt parking pad as well as the patio area. Our site did have the concrete patio but a gravel pad. At nearly $60 per night - a bit high. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Premium site offered wrought iron round table with matching chairs

What a nice surprise this park was! It is located just far enough away from I-95 to be without the constant traffic noise, but it is very convenient to the highway. The sites are huge! We were only there for one night so appreciated the extra long pull through site, but unlike most pull-through sites, this one was under some big trees and was also very spacious width-wise. We were very happy to be there, and will return, next time for a longer stay. Our Verizon signal was strong here, too. The only negative was a huge blow up slide that was near our site, its noisy generator left on all night. Hopefully this was just an oversight. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

We were looking for a nice park close to I-95 and we definitely found it. When we called, they were very nice on the phone. I got the same when I checked in. Sites were long pull through. Easy in; easy out. Good satellite reception. Walked the whole park; all was clean and well maintained. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

Large FHU site. Stayed two nights to R&R on our trip from Florida to Maine. Pleasant location; mostly quiet; short hiking trail; courteous staff. Would stay again. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice camp ground directly off of interstate 95. The staff was nice and helpful. The sites were spacious and level. The camp ground is full of mostly monthly renters but they are on the opposite side of the CG. IT was very quiet with a few things do to ie, basketball, horse shoes, workout room, and 2 pools. The location makes it very easy to access if traveling north or south on the east coast. I will definitely be coming back again. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a fishing lake around 8 miles away. It was very nice and relaxing with a place to fish and canoe. There are no close restaurants that will deliver.

Absolutely loved this park, hated leaving. Nice office staff, very helpful, small store and free waffles several days a week. Clean, well maintained neighborhood feel. Spacious level lots, all with fire pits, picnic tables. Two dog parks, 2 swimming pools, nice playground, nature trails, lot of areas to walk and grassy areas to enjoy. Also has cottages and cabins available for rent, which we did and invited our daughter and grandchildren for a weekend. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

You are just off I-95. Convenient for overnight stops, lot of pull through sites.

Discount was Good Sam. The park was very level and big rig friendly. The campground had a great exercise room with good equipment. It had easy access to I95. There was no dog run but park was big enough to walk dog. We camped in travel trailer. Good for three night visit. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Fayetteville is interesting town to visit. Walmart was 20 minutes away. No other attractions near.

A beautiful, well designed, well kept park with well spaced gravel sites. Would be a 10 with paved sites. Minimal road noise. Utilities worked well. Verizon MiFi and cell worked well. Large open park-like areas with grass. In most campgrounds these areas would be filled with more sites. Wish there was more to do in the area to make a longer than overnight stay worthwhile. Will return. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty, well kept campground. It used to be a KOA. About half the sites are in the trees and the other half in the open. All the sites seem to be of decent length with the pull-throughs being plenty long to keep a toad or trailer attached. Unlike some camp grounds, the utilities are located properly for staying attached. The park has a nice walking trail through the woods. Tuesday through Sunday they serve a complimentary breakfast. This park is very close to 95 but has little to no noise from it. Cable connection quality is decent and is included at no extra cost. It is not too far from Fayetteville, so there are things to do if you so desire. The sites are spaced well with plenty of room between sites and easy to get into. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.
