We have stayed here on a number of occasions - typically, our second night when heading south or second night before getting home when heading north. The campground has undergone a number of upgrades and there are more to come! The staff was again wonderful. The site clean. East access off I-95 just north in the I-95 and I-295 interchange. New pool complex. Excellent Thursday night taco and ice cream dinner and at just $3.00 per head it shouldn't be missed! We will be staying here enroute to Florida next January. Lovely park. It looks more like a neighborhood than a campground because of its spacious layout. Easy dog walking and a nice sized dog enclosure. Close to the highway without any noticeable highway noise. We'll be back. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

Driving from WV to Florida, this is the perfect stop off !!! Literally immediate on/off access from the interstated. We were there Fathers day weekend. Happy hour (free) for adults on friday, Saturday was a DJ with orderves.(shrimp), and Sunday a beautiful display of fireworks !!! The staff was professional & friendly. A definite stop off come this December when we snowbird. I could not believe how reasonable this place was. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Here for just an overnight pull thru. Well maintained park with 2 pools. Transient site was spacious and level and hookups close by. Couldn't get satellite due to adjacent tree but cable included and was decent. Lots of long term residents in the other park section. Convenient to I95. Overall Rating:

We ca,e to Fayetteville to visit our grandson who is stationed at Fort Bragg. The first spot we were assigned didn't work for us as we could not get satellite but the ladies in the office were very accommodating and moved us to site 31which was perfect. This park is one of the nicest we have stayed in on our many years of RV traveling and the cost certainly reasonable! There is a long term separate from the "transient" but all are neat as a pin. Plenty of things for families: pool, basketball, miniature golf, horseshoes, swings, etc. Nice dog area fenced. Plenty of space to walk dogs. Extremely friendly staff. Laundry reasonable. Our WiFi was excellent, the best we have had on our trip thus far but we are right across from office so I can't say how the rest of the park is. Really can't say enough nice things about this park and definitely would return! We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

Nice , clean CG. Just far enough from I-95 that you don't hear the traffic. Huge and long pull through sites. The biggest motor homes could pull in and never have to unhook their toad. Office staff were friendly, pool looked nice but we didn't use it. They have free mini golf but we didn't use it. There are a fair amount of permanent or semi perm sites in the back of the CG. I was a little disappointed in the small pack of firewood they sell, but overall, we would definitely recommend. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

This was for one night and we were immediately impressed with the general cleanliness and appearance of the campground. Building appeared new or freshly-painted. Landscaping was exceptional--a waterfall in the middle of a mini golf course! We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

This has gone right near the top of the nicest RV parks we've stayed in -- probably right beneath Spearfish, SD City Park, which remains #1. They do a wonderful job of making the place neat as a pin without giving it a too-classy-for-me look about it. We share other reviewers's favorable comments about the pleasant and helpful staff, shrubbery and trees (which are illuminated at night), playground (basketball court too), level site and perfectly functioning W/E/S services. I assume we're in the transcients' section, which is closest to the entrance and very convenient for pulling out for an early departure. A very good job and we'll definitely come again. Excellent RV Park located just off I-95 but road noise was not a problem. We got there after office hours and the night check in was very well organized. Sites are spacious, very long, level, packed gravel pull-through with FHU. All utilities worked well although the wifi was weak at times. The large shade trees are well trimmed. There is a nice large dog park, pool, very large nice playground, and other activities. The bathrooms/showers and laundry room are modern and clean. Everything is very well maintained. This is a regular stopover while heading south or returning home from Florida. Staff always friendly and helpful. Long term area separate from those for transients ... although both are clean and well maintained. We will continue to stay here. Big Rig friendly, easy in and out just off I-95. Large gravel sites that are level and easy to enter and exit. Good interior roads. Some road noise from the traffic on 95 but it didn't keep me awake. Staff is very friendly. We FT in our MH and do not use the amenities of the parks. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. The park was full and we had to settle for one of the last sites. We had good hookups but was parked on the grass. There was a very nice dog park. There are lots of amenities and even though the pool was covered, the hot tub was open. The CG is very close to the interstate. Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This was the monthly rate and we got lucky to get it. We needed a place to stay during the month of October. The fair was in town in Raleigh so needed to find a short term stay while we moved out of the fair grounds. This is an hour from RTP where I work but it is a lovely spot. The place is huge with lots of winding road to walk and good vegetation around. Two swimming pools and a hot tub. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There are lots of families with the base in Fayetteville so there is a waiting list for longer term rental but our one month stay gave us a really cheap rate. The normal daily and weekly rate is pretty expensive though. Good cable tv and the verizon card i use for work got plenty of bars. The spot we were had no good internet but not many rv spots do. Convenient location right off the highway and close to everything u need within a couple of exits. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on site B7 a back in site with a very large landscape timber that out lined the site on both sides. Road way is narrow and trying to back into the site without running into the neighbor across from us meant we had to drive over the landscape timber. These things should be flush with the ground and used to outline the site not be an obstacle. A member of the c.g. came and moved one of the timbers so we could leave the next morning without doing any damage to the fifth wheel. I still ran over the timber that was behind the one he moved, in my effort to clear the site and truck across from us. Not a good site at all. Nice C.G. but don't want to be on this site again. Walked my dog a few feet in the open area near pool and immediately she came up limping with sandspurs which took tweezers to pull out of her paws. I would hate to think what it would be like to walk from the pool and have these things stick into your feet. Better have good shoes or sandles on. I like to camp on the side of the camp store where the dog walk is nicer and no sandspurs. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.
