This is our second stay and both have been satisfactory to very good. The park is quiet and the staff has always been very nice. Cable TV and internet supplied. Site has a little fishing pond that is great to catch and release. There is a big lake called Lake Tillery. The campground has access to it. - Cliff Connie
May 2018 - $38.00
We stayed here with a 39 foot Class A and tow vehicle. Quiet park with very few full timers. I would not say big rig friendly but very doable. - W-TBanks

I own my own park model camper and have been in this park for 10 years. This park has 1511 private deeded lots and about 8 public rental lots. 6 of the lots are behind the pool area and have 30 amp power, the other two are on the main road and have 50 amp meters. There is entertainment every weekend during the summer and plenty to do in pool, lake Tillery, putt-putt and much more. This park for years was park of coast to coast but has terminated that arrangement to some degree. - Gerald Witherspoon REALTOR Thomas Realty Co

This campground is listed as a Coast to Coast campground. Upon arriving, we found that it is a huge permanent site "trailer park". The ten daily rental sites are in a gravel parking lot. We did have sewer, water, and 30 amp service, but we were unable to put out our awning or chairs, because there is only room for six campers in a line end to end. There is no room to put out awning because other campers must drive within inches of your camper to exit the parking lot which is where your camper is located. If someone is camping in front of you and you need to hook up your tow vehicle, you are out of luck unless they move their camper first. We will never return here! It is shocking that this is a Coast to Coast campground. - T. Garrell

As much as we wanted to really like this Park we couldn't. We were in site 14 which was not level (worried about sliding downhill even with 4 wheel chocks), site 3 is huge, but it was occupied by an rPod which would have fit on any site in the Park. Overall not very big rig or long trailer friendly. Sand and gravel road coming in. Golf course looked wonderful. Decent Verizon 4G and OTA tv. We would not stay here again if in the area. - jtl2
Jun 2017 - $21.00
We called and got the last available site. Only 17 sites, which makes it quiet. Although we did not have a lake front site it can still be seen from our windows. Only 30 amp and water hookups. Dump station on way out. - zjxgator

Camping at Cheraw SP was a very pleasant experience. The park is easy to get to (even on back country roads), to enter and to exit. The entrance is on the opposite side of the lake from the campground. We proceeded to our reserved site and after unhooking, and setting up we registered at the camp office. The check in is simple and quick and the lady checking us in was most pleasant. The CG is small (17 sites) and spaciousness varies but no site is on top of your neighbor. Six sites are right on the lake but the others should have at least a partial view of the water. All sites have 50 amp electric or lower, and water. Sites also have picnic tables, fire pit which can be used for grilling, and a pole for hanging a lantern. Most sites are level or need only minor leveling. Sites are shady and overall are pleasant being right on the water and in a quiet location. Restroom was older but well kept and clean with hand soap and paper towels at the sinks. Showers were fine. The real highlights of the park are the 300 acre lake which permits boating (no gas powered), canoeing, kayaking, standup paddle boarding and fishing. There are good hiking and biking and horseback riding areas. The other big ticket is a championship golf course which is certainly the Augusta National of public courses in SC and at great greens fees. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the surrounding area is and the beauty of it all. The town of Cheraw is worth a visit to see some fantastic historical homes in perfect condition and still lived in. - WOLFTRACKS
