This is a very small park. Its very shady, and right on Jonathan's creek. It has about half park models. Its also pretty quiet, but does get road traffic noise. The creek is beautiful and peaceful. The owners are wonderful people and try to take care of all of your needs. Big rigs may have an issue here. You have to be able to move your rig around in very tight spaces. We stayed here in a 40 ft 5th wheel. We loved the campground and would come back here again and again. We camped at Somer's Dream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very small, very nice, very old RV park on Jonathan Creek. Run by very nice helpful couple. Majority of the park is old RV's with locals living there full time. A few sites for nightly, weekly stays. playground. We camped at Somer's Dream RV Park in a Motorhome.

It was a nightmare! We arrived to find the smallest campsite we ever saw. We couldn't even get in to it. The neighbor on one side had his awning out which came over on us at least 3 feet. On the other side there was a camper with about three big tents that had eased onto us a couple of feet. Even if we made them move and the guy took down his awning, it would have been tight. We did not stay here. We went down the road and found a beautiful, shady place that was 3 times the size. Anyone we talked to knew of that park's reputation. We were told they changed their name from Jonathon's Hideaway to Somers Cream. There are many other options for Maggie Valley. Choose Wisely. We camped at Somer's Dream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sites were very small. Need gravel at sites only bare dirt/mud. Bad road noise constantly from Hwy. 279 Nice stream. Shady locations, Decrepit permanent residence travel trailers, and weird people in them. Their are a lot better sites within 3 miles. Would rather stay home than go back. We camped at Somer's Dream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We booked this place sight-unseen. When we pulled in, it was much smaller than I expected. We checked in and proceeded back to our site, which was directly on Jonathon Creek--beautiful! The entire campground is shaded, so it was wonderful in July. All the sites had fire rings and a picnic table; although, they were all tight. Thankfully, there was an empty site next to us. We were directly in front of the bath house. We used it--the women's and handicap were clean and nice. The men's looked like they forgot to finish it when the built the building--unfinished, bare studs, crowded stalls. And nasty! So, for the rest of the time, I used the handicap bathroom. There was 90% seasonal; in fact, I don't think anyone else checked in the three days we were there. Loved the shade and creek, love the area. We would stay here again. The price was right! We camped at Somer's Dream RV Park in a Tent Trailer.
