Great restaurant across the street. A big open field but pretty with good hookups and grounds are well kept. I think all the sites are about the same. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here 5 times in the last two years. We travel to NC frequently and enjoy staying here. It is quiet, convenient and secluded. It has extremely easy access and if you have satellite you will have no issue getting signal. Check-in is easy. Although it is not staffed 24/7, you can call and they will register you and take payment that way. But you can pick your site or even move if there is another site open you like. All sites are pull through. The campground doesn't have too many permanent residents. We were told that 30 days is max for any stay. We've booked two more stays here this year so far. If you want to enjoy the OBX then you might like staying here away from the usual seasonal crowds at the beach rv parks. It's about 1.5 hours to the beach. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

No discount rates offered. Rates are $30 for 30 amp or $35 for 50 amp. The campground is located approximately 5 miles from US64 following narrow, but well paved country roads. The office was closed when we arrived at 4:00pm. We had made a reservation, but no information was left for us. So we just picked a site and completed the self check-in envelope. We never did see anyone at the office. All sites are large, grass, pull-thru, FHU sites. We had good satellite reception and good Verizon cell/MiFi reception. The campground free wifi also worked well. The campground was quiet during our stay. There are few amenities at this campground, but restaurants and Walmart are within a 10 minute drive at Williamston. We would stay here again. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Overnight stay on the way to OBX. That's about all it's good for. Out of the way and really nothing in the area. No one in office from 4pm Saturday until Monday morning so bring cash unless you want to write you credit card number on a card in a very unsecure box! A few permanent residents whose sites could have used a bit of sprucing up but otherwise we were the only guests there. Big grass spots, level and pull through for any size rig. No need to unhook your tow. Bathhouse absolutely spotless with handicap shower and toilet stall. Would stay again. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because our great nephew was having his birthday party accross the street at Deadwood. The person in the office was friendly and check in was easy. You have to realize this campground is part of a farm field so it is very open. All sites are pull thru and grass with little gravel. Hook ups are newer as the park is only about 3-4 years old. Restrooms were very clean and showers/dressing areas were larger than most we've seen. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Arrived 4:30 Saturday pm - nobody around - closed at 4 and office not open Sunday. Simple do it yourself check in and easy to pick site next to showers. Actually in Bear Lake, not Williamston - across street from a small amusement park and restaurant - which we did not use. WAY out in the country as name indicates. A good experience. We were in a class B motorhome. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

I have been camping for 55 years. Mostly tent but now in a motorhome. I have never seen such a clean and well maintained laundry, showers, washroom. Plus the Wi-Fi was excellent! No problem streaming video. If cleanliness is important to you, this is the place to stay. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little park. Nothing fancy, level grassy spots, with good wifi. The park was once a farm field but is now a campground. We're were there during a very heavy rainy week and the ground drained quickly. The staff and owner are wonderful people and easy to work with. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night as we passed through however we were most impressed with the facilities offered. The campground is very rural and what it lacks in glitz it makes up for in excellent presentation and facilities. The pool is superb, the children's playground new, all sites full hook-up, plenty of grass, and friendly service. Sure the facilities look as though they are in a shed but do not be put off - they are new and perfectly clean. If in this area certainly give this campground a visit - it is not full of permanents and holidaymakers are more than welcome. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

No discounts offered at this park. Sites are long, pull-thru and grass. Very basic, but it is in farm country. Grass had not been mowed at our site so it was a bit overgrown. Swimming pool was not yet open for the season. Only one other site was occupied during our stay. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

A small park, all grass sites, 30/50 amp full hookups, ours was level. Pool was not open for the season. Nice playground for the kids.

We arrived late but had called ahead for the site number. Paid the next morning.

A nice stop between Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks. A pleasant experience. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The campsites are long, grassy, with good utilities. Interior roads are gravel. The camping pads could use some gravel. We stayed here two nights. We there just before Halloween and the Deadwood Restaurant is located just across the road. Excellent food and they have other activities in season. We took the "haunted train ride", fun evening. Our friends enjoyed seeing the cotton fields nearby and watching the harvest. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice new campground. The staff (and owner) are very helpful. This is a great location if you are traveling US 17. A 10 minute drive to all facilities in Williamston. Would recommend this campground. Rated a 9 because all grass sites. We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We found Farm Country Campground when we had to evacuate the Outer Banks due to hurricane Arthur. The campground is not very old so it has that "new" feeling. Sites are nicely sized so that you have ample room. There is no shade as the trees were planted when the campground was put in a few years ago. The grass had been bush-hogged but not "mowed" so for us was a bit too tall and pretty much made you feel like you were definitely camping in a field. The sites had no gravel but were almost level. Staff and owners were super nice and always helpful. Pool was nice and had a handicapped lift. Bathrooms, laundry rooms and office area were all very clean. Deadwood theme park is across the road and is a cute distraction for a couple hours. Everybody said the food at the restaurant there was good but we did not eat there. All in all a nice, quiet, family campground out in the middle of "Farm Country"! We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The name says it all—deep, cushiony grass covers the entire park. We enjoyed 3 quiet, peaceful days here. The park is surrounded by farm fields and the fields are surrounded by forests, about 5 miles from town and U.S. Highway 17 (worth the drive). Excellent maintenance—mowing is done by mowers attached to relatively quiet farm tractors, doesn’t take all day. Open all year, 40X100 foot very spacious level pull-through sites with no parking obstructions (easy in and easy out) have conveniently placed full hookup facilities including all-season water spigots, 50# water pressure, 30 & 50 amp power. Medium size tree at each site. Very clean bathrooms with 2 washer and 2 dryer laundry. No speed bumps! ? No highway or train noise! ? TV reception: major networks + 3 PBS stations. One bar Verizon signal. Friendly staff, no discounts from $30 30 amp sites and $35 50 amp sites. Playground. In mid-April, the swimming pool and pond were not open. There is a restaurant and a small amusement park across the road from the RV park. No recycling. ? We camped at Farm Country Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
