3 RV Parks near Wilson, North Carolina
Sep 2017 - $31.00
This is an older "Mom and Pop" campground that has a lot of full timers whose RV's need some TLC. The park itself is clean and the grass sites are plenty long to stay hooked up and very level. Our site had a patio, picnic table and fire pit. Wi-fi but no cable, play area, pool, old mini golf and best of all DONKEYS !!!!! They were very friendly and loved to be petted! This is a good park for an overnight stay. - travelswithpuppies

Very nice RV park!! For overnight stay, a bit off the freeway, however I think it was worth the ride. Nice staff who were ready and very willing to help with anything you needed. Sites were very nice with new fire rings in place. Long-term residents at this park. - User2568
May 2017 - $32.00
No, they are no longer Passport. But $31.50 with a GoodSam discount did not seem high to us. We were escorted to our pull-thru, full sun, full service campsite. The picnic tables need replacing, but that is our only quibble here. We've been here before, and we will be back! - SusanRon
Jun 2014 - $28.00
Easy access, and good signs on the way. Very rustic campground. All hookups were adequate, the water spigots are below the ground in a hole. Beware that for every two campsites, the hookups are on the same posts, therefore each camper pulls in different. And you will be facing your neighbor. Very awkward. As you and your neighbor sits under the awning, you seem like you are camping with them. Weird.
The pool was nice but dirty. Every day we took our fishing minnow net and skimmed the pool and got all the bugs out before we went swimming. Typical run down campground. The owner is extremely nice and doesn't put up with rowdy, noisy people. He accommodated every request we had.
The internet was very reliable. It was a good place to spend the night, but not an extended stay destination. If you have a visitor to visit, they will be banned from the pool, I guess liability issue? The campground needs a lot of work. We would possibly stay again if we needed a place to sleep, but not stay long. - jabberb
Jul 2013 - $28.00
Easy access off I-95. They made us feel welcome and guided us to our spot, which was level. Nice pool on premise. Spots were shaded which interfered with satellite TV reception, but kept them cooler. We will stay here again. - ournextstop
May 2012 - $27.00
This is a very rustic campground in the middle of a farming neighborhood. The owner was very friendly and helped me hook up which was necessary because the water hookup was in a hole about 6 inches below the surface and it was full of muddy water. He used a cup to bail it out and then hooked up my water hose. I'll have to do it myself tomorrow morning since it's raining hard now and the hole is bound to fill up again. We are camped in an adequate pull-through site on a muddy pad. All the interior roads are muddy and rutted. The pool is closed and doesn't have much water in it. This place is fine for an overnight stop, but I wouldn't stay here again if it was raining. - RVerMJ
Sep 2017 - $40.00
Easy access from I-95. We were escorted to the site which was a newer site in the park. Good OTA TV. Level site - Beggco
Jul 2017 - $40.00
We stayed 1 night while traveling. Nice, long pull-thru site, 50 amp, FHU and level. Plenty of space between sites with trees far enough away so no issue with slides. We had an extra car and had plenty of room for our 40' coach & 2 vehicles. This is a very nice park right off I-95. No road noise inside coach and minimal noise outside. Nice lake view from some sites. Fishing is catch & release - no license required. Easy, friendly check-in with escort to site. It is obvious the owner takes pride in his/her RV park. WIFI worked well, and plenty of OTA channels. Rate includes $4.00 for 2 extra adults less a GS discount. Without hesitation we would stay here again. - Gayle E.
May 2017 - $39.00
We stayed 1 night to rest as we we were traveling up the east coast. This place is GREAT! It is only .3 miles off of I-95. The owners were very nice upon check in. The sites are big and not very close together so we did not feel crowded at all. There is a beautiful clean huge lake that you can fish in (catch and release, no license required). The pool was very clean and big with all new deck furniture and large umbrellas that are cemented into the concrete. They have chickens on site and they sell the fresh eggs at the check in store. They have a dog park (very clean). There is a Walmart 3 miles away. The only negative is the wifi wasn't great when we stayed but that seems to be the norm in campgrounds. I used my Verizon Jetpack with no problem. Every site has a picnic table. Although it was close to I-95 it was very quiet. We stayed in site E-3. We would definitely return here. - Linda-jo
