$43 per night too high when there is no sewer connection. Good location. Neighbors stayed up past midnight talking/laughng/singing and we heard every syllable, the sites are so close. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Tent.

The park was full so we were put in an overflow area with water & electric only. The man who escorted us to our site was very friendly. There was no cable in our area but Wifi worked well. They have a Kamp K9 area as well as a long pet walk. Easy access off I-94. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners were extremely pleasant and helpful. When there was a threat of high winds, the stopped at every RV with their awning out (as was ours) to advise them of the impending weather and suggest the bring their awnings in and secure any loose items outside their campers. We had a subsequent chance to talk with the owner and were impressed with how committed he was to his "guests" having a clean and pleasant experience. We would definitely stay here if in Bismarck again! We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground, most of it well shaded by trees. The sites are spacious enough with some shrubs between spots. Utilities are well placed. The staff are friendly and helpful from check in to set up to departure. The location is very convenient to the interstate, the campground is off a busy road but only those closest would have an issue. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

They offer 8 cent/gallon discount on local gas so wait to fill up until after you check in. Wifi is pretty good, pool is heated. Walmart and grocery store are nearby, as is Einstein for bagels and coffee.

All gravel so when windy, had to keep RV closed up as dust kicked up by traffic blew in. Show you to your site but ours was tight. Busy park near I-94 so was full both nights. No cable and usual slow wifi but other utilities were fine. Nice store and laundry. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical of all KOA parks: the price is higher than most RV Parks. The interior roads are dirt, which can be very dusty when people drive above 5 miles per hour, which most seem to do. (Some people have no respect for other campers.) The front office does not try to control the speed problem except for one sign at the entrance. Try to get a camping location near the back of the park as there is less traffic. I would give 5 stares for cleanliness if not for the dusty dirt roads. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

We arrived a day later than what we thought was our reservation. The owner and family staff were awesome. No problem! So friendly about it and got us a perfect site for our 40 motorhome. The site was the most level we ever have had in gravel! The sites were spacious with grass and trees. I looked in the laundry and it was very clean and newer machines. The entrance greets you with high flying flags for each state! Loved it! And an added bonus Kimi has a food truck with a nice menu. FYI the donuts are yummy. You can call, order, and she will even deliver. Wish all the KOA parks were like this! We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very lovely park, with wonderful and helpful owners. Sites are well spaced and separated with trees and bushes. We arrived when the park was nearly empty, so I'm sure it will look a lot different when all the sites are full, but it's still a very nice place. We're here on a job assignment from May until October and I will be very happy being here long term. Although it doesn't affect me personally, my only complaint would be the size of the pool and playground, which seem very small. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We do not typically stay at KOA's but if more were like this one we might change that habit. Roads through the campground are good and our partially shaded site was level. Water, sewer, and electric worked as expected. WiFi was great (best we've experienced in a campground) as were the office staff. Close to I94 so some minor road noise that we did not notice while inside. Bathrooms were clean but we did not use the showers. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed 2 nights first leg of our trip, then 6 nights on our return trip. Spacious and level sites. Does not have cable TV, but antenna has enough local tv. We were unable to use our sattalite as there are lots of trees in the park. Owners have had this for about 5 years and have done a great job maintaining the property. Our last stay was over Memorial Day and we took a chance to get a reservation---Mark spent some time and moved several overnighters so we could get a site! We so appreciated that. There is also a food cart on site called Kimi's. Great food and good prices. All food is prepared on site, nothing pre made. Biscuits and Gravy!!! Such a bonus. There have been previous reviews that were not the best, but they are so wrong!!! It is one of the best RV parks we have stayed at. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 3 nights to visit nearby National Park Service sites while traveling through the area.

The park is a mile to so drive from I-94 (Exit 161) along a busy multiple lane road that narrows to a 2 lane rural road. The turn into the park approaching from the interstate occurs at a slight hill so there is some vision restriction of oncoming traffic.

There was an escort to the site.

The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's. There appear to be extended stay sites. Site had enough room for opening slides. This park understands the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites were level and flat. Distance and hedge rows establish privacy between the sites but the sites were narrow and close to each other. Above ground fire pits were allowed only on assigned sites.

There was an extensive tree canopy over most of the park so satellite reception would be dependent upon site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 12 broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.

The park provided WiFi was good. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about cell phone reception.

The designated fenced pet area with a sandy surface was located towards the front of the park. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste in the fenced pet area. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads.

For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter.

The park was quiet in a nice rural setting but there weren't many campers.

We would probably stay here again if traveling through the area. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff. Moved things around so we could stay in same spot when we had to extend our stay. On-site food truck had excellent food - call in and go pick up your order. Wi-fi worked fine. Pool looked nice but it was too cold to use when we were there. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

We had a nice site with partial shade. Nice pool for the kids.
There was a bad windstorm one day that blew a branch partly down. Owners came out and took the hanging limb down before we left.
WIFI worked great, full hook ups with 50 amp. Electrical pedestal looked new. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a Dan's supermarket about a 1/4 mile from the KOA that is really large and has everything you could want including a post office.
KOA had fuel coupons that gave you 8cents off per gallon for gas or diesel just down from the park, nice perk.

I hated to leave. We've stayed at many KOA campgrounds and this was just about the best. The hosts were wonderful. The laundry room was clean and had an ironing board, laundry rack. Bathrooms and showers were well kept. They were full and yet very accommodating. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Staff was very helpful and took us to our site. Sites were packed gravel and level. KOA's are expensive as we only use them on occasion for an overnight. Did not use the facilities so could not rate. Nicely treed lots with some bushes. Near the highway and was easy to find. Noise from the road did not bother us. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Motorhome.

Walmart very close for stocking up. Pretty campground. Didn't seem like much going on but maybe this was because it was a Sunday. Not much to say except expensive for an overnight.
