This is a good place for a convenient over-night if travelling I-94 in eastern North Dakota. It is located about 20 miles west of Fargo. Because of the large number of RVs parked somewhat close together, at first I thought I'd come upon an RV dealership. This park is adjacent to a Days Inn. While there were perhaps 8 cars parked overnight at the Days Inn, there must have been 50 or 60 RVs in the park. The above rate is for FHU with a GS discount. The park is a large gravel parking lot with perhaps 30' between each FHU site. A picnic table is included and there are pull-thru and back-in sites. Park guests have use of the Days Inn fitness center, a large laundry, bar, restaurant, and swim center. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here unexpectedly while waiting for some generator parts to arrive at the Cummins Service Center in Fargo. The sites were pretty level, it was far enough off the interstate that there was no disruptive noise. The Staff was helpful. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a good place to stop for a couple days. Fargo is a 20 some mile drive east, but there isn't much in the the local towns. The campground has quite a few seasonal campers, but they are friendly and their rigs are kept in pretty good shape. The internal roads are gravel, as are the sites, which are fairly level. We had no issues leveling the coach. And even though we had a hard rain the night before and the day we left, we had no problems driving around the park on our way out. The only issue I had with our site was that the sewer pipe was about a foot high, which made it a bit hard to dump our tanks with the hose going uphill. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Casselton has a nice city park where you can picnic, take a nice walk, and fish the reservoir. There is a small grocery in Casselton, with a limited inventory, as well as gas stations, and a hardware store. However, Fargo is 20 some miles away and you can find just about everything there

Governors Drive RV Park is behind the Days Inn. You check in at the hotel desk. They have a "water park" (but not very large) and you can use the pool at no cost. We also got a coupon for a discount on breakfast. The full hookups worked fine. Campsites are gravel. Some have picnic tables; we had none. Fargo is about a half hour away but there isn't much to see there. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The Fargo-Moorehead Visitor's Center has a wood chipper on display that you can take a picture with (although the movie, Fargo, was not filmed there). Bonanzaville is interesting, especially the telephone museum.

We stayed here as a one night between Dickinson and Sioux Falls just to see Fargo. It was fine for that. Easy in and out, easy off the highway, good check in at the Days Inn. We could have stayed hooked up in a long pull thru but we wanted to explore Fargo. The utilities were good and the Verizon cell was great. I didn't use the wifi. We went into Fargo to the Scheels and found a brew house for a flight and a bite. We got a couple over the air channels and there was another rv park closer to town but this one was fine for what we needed. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

About 19 Miles W. of Fargo, we made this our 2 night stop to see the area. Our site was pull through with the sewer connection too tall to be usable. We had to use the dump station. Otherwise, the place was fine. Level, gravel, quiet. The hotel next door had lots of amenities and a good breakfast in the restaurant. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Fargo Visitor Center was interesting. If you haven't been in one before, Scheels sporting goods was fun with its inside Ferris wheel and amazing array of stuff. Moorhead, MN across the river from Fargo has a good Scandinavian museum, Hjemkomst Center, with a very interesting story about a Viking ship sailing from MN to Norway in 1982, a stave church, and other Scandinavian and WWI exhibits.

My DH and I stayed in this CG for 2 nights while visiting Fargo. The park is right off I94 which makes it convenient for an overnight stay. Its connected to the Days Inn so you register inside the hotel. You have access to the indoor pool which looks to be nice. The wifi worked well for us. The sites themselves are hard and level gravel. We had a pull thru site with a grassy area next to us, but that grassy area is used as a back-in site. There's only one picnic table, so we shared it with our neighbor (who used it to dry their sneakers). Due to the closeness of the sites we could not put out our awnings. We would have moved further forward but the water hookup is at the far end of the site and we didn't have a long enough hose. There is a big field to walk your dog and for the most part it was clean. The showers are atrocious. Not sure what other parks are in the area, we would not stay here again. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We almost didn't stay here because of it being next to a hotel and no pictures to view of the RV park. We are so happy we stayed. The staff is great, the sites are large and the campground is clean. Most campers come in for one night and leave the next morning since it's right on I94. The wifi comes and goes so that was a little irritating, but good phone reception. They have a few pull-thru's and we were lucky enough to get here early in the day and they had plenty of spaces available. They have a huge parking lot, so if you need to unhook before coming in you have plenty of room. Gravel and grassy spots. Even though it is right on the highway, there is no road noise. They give you a 10% discount for breakfast and it was great! Better than Denny's or Ihop! We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

17 miles to Fargo which has many site seeing areas. Went to Bonanzaville and it was well worth the fee. Fargo is a large city and has plenty of shopping.

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon without reservations and they were able to accommodate us. This is the only decent park anywhere near Fargo. The park was full to capacity and yet the wifi was good. The park is connected to the Day's Inn next door, all hotel amenities are available to park guests. Right off I94 next to Days Inn and Country Kitchen Restaurant. Use of indoor pool comes with RV Site. About 15 miles west of Fargo and easy drive for all shopping, restaurants, etc. Site was a pull through on packed dirt and gravel with grass in between sites. Rained hard the two days we were there and lots of standing water. Good power and water with no issues, several OTA channels and excellent satellite reception. WIFI worked well considering the park was full. I would stay here again. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is attached to a Days Inn, where the Inside waterpark, hot tub, pool and restaurant and pub are located. EZ off and on to I-94. Sites are fairly level gravel, with grass between. We were in a pull through. For out in the middle of nowhere, it's pretty good! Strong WiFi and the restaurant is a Country Kitchen, with a nice pub attached. We needed a respite from rain so spent 2 nights regrouping and doi;g laundry. The noise from the highway can't be heard inside the rig, and we'd stay again. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is one of the more reasonably priced RV parks in the Fargo area with a price of $35 but there was an additional tax of $6, probably at any other as well. The park is almost level with only a pair of blocks under one side. Wifi is very good and most sites have some grass. Power is solid and they have cable tv. The check-in is in the motel as are the swimming pool and hot tub. It was a long walk in pretty hot weather so we did not use them. Showers and restrooms also in hotel. Access is very easy from I94 and you can see the hotel as you exit. This park is sufficient for a 1 night stop but not one that I would want to spend an extended period in. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park is right along the interstate and is a good place for a quick night stay. Its basically a gravel parking lot with reasonably level sites so I could stay hooked up. This RV park is next to the Days Inn and you register inside the hotel. We pulled in our site (a pull thru) and we pulled forward as far as we could but our stairs still opened up directly across from the back door of the 5th wheel backed in next to us (it was one with two doors and they used the back door to enter/exit). If the park only used their gravel sites as pull thrus there would be plenty of room and I would give it a better rating (and stay here again). BUT, they use the pull thrus appropriately and then back in smaller units on the grass right next to you! No way you could use an awning although there is no place to sit anyway. The positive about this park is you have access to a restaurant, a bar, and a really nice indoor "water park". We did not swim, so I can't vouch for the cleanliness of the pool but they had a lot of really nice water park type slides and splash apparatus. We will not stay here again due to the parking situation. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

we stayed just one night while passing through. the sites are mostly pull-thrus that are tight but doable for our 42 ft fifth wheel. You check in at the Days Inn and have access to their facilities though we did not partake.
