I had an emergency and spent several hours in the local emergency room. I knew it would be after dark when I got released, so I called this campground about a reservation that night. I do not usually drive or back up into a spot after dark, and the office would be closed, so the owner very kindly told me to call again and he would meet me at the office and check me in, as well as help me park, which I really appreciated.

I ended up with a very long gravel space near the office which was fine. Luckily I had a 50 amp converter, but he would have loaned me one. I was very relieved to be able to find this place and get so much help getting in and hooked up, especially since I was still shaky and having effects from pain meds. I would stay here again. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Large park, part of which has park model and mobile homes. Obviously built or expanded due to oil boom a few years ago. Mostly workers and transients. RV sites looked to be about 50% occupied at this time. All sites appear very large/long and transients are kept in different areas. Only complaint (if there really is one) is that A row pull-thru sites face each other. We stayed 3 nights and never had a patio neighbor. Had a great experience and the office staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This review is influenced by the poor weather. It had apparently rained heavily the day before and the roads and sites were a mess. Our site was a mud bog with little streams running through it. We have a big rig and were placed in the B section, which are pull thru sites with no site development at all. Just a dirt spot, a few weeds for grass and a picnic table. Sites are long but fall off on the ends. There are other pull through sites, thinking the A section, that are nicer but shorter and share a patio. The one thing that made this stop good was killer WiFi. Utilities worked fine. Restrooms were clean. No cable. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

The park is for long term and owners. They rent RV spaces for folks traveling thru the area. Looks like there are plenty of vacant lots so finding a place for your RV should not be a problem. Full hookups, 50 amp with sewer. Nothing special just a dirt roads, pads and a place to setup. This was built during the oil boom to accommodate the oil workers. The location is close to shopping and food. I would stay again. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 1 night as a stopover. We didn't use too many of the facilities as we got here late and left early. There were plenty of RV's in the park, but we didn't see anything exceptional about the CG. We would definitely stay again on our way through. We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

There are still a large number of permmanet campers in the campground but sites are kept neat. Most of these sites are occupied by the oil workers. It is quiet. There is plenty of room to walk your dog. Next to the campground is a manufactured homes neighborhood that is one of the neatest & nice I have ever seen. Again, no noise. The only negative is the overnight sites are dirt which makes a mess in the rig wet or dry. There is no cable so we used our antenna & converter box and were able to pull in several channels. They accept only cash or check for payment. I am not sure of site# so I entered 1. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Large park with mostly permanent residents. The transient sites are toward the back as far as I could tell and it's nicer back here. Last row with a hedge row of trees and field behind. The permanent residents keep their sites very neat, no junk laying around. Frankly this is the neatest park with full timers that I have ever seen! Apparently mostly oil workers. It's also very quiet. The lot is gravel with some grass between, they have planted some trees, but they need a few years to be worth the effort! The host is very nice and helpful. It's a big park, so room to walk the dogs, but no great areas outside of the park to walk them. We walk ours several miles a day, so our only option is to walk them along the road in an industrial area....but I don't think many walk as long as we do and it wouldn't be a problem for most. The only down side is the side by side hook ups, which makes your door and the neighbor's door face each other and for some strange reason, there is only one picnic table, so you have to share that or have your own tables and chairs. The sites are pretty close, so if we open our awning and they open theirs I think they would hit. This is not an issue with the park, but an issue with our new neighbors....they have their dog on a tie out and it reaches to within 2 ft or our door, so when we try to come out of our door with our dogs, their dog lunges at us and the dogs (he's friendly, but I don't want to get them all tangled up in his tie out) and they don't seem to think it's a problem! We ended up having to ask them to move their dog whenever we come outside. Seems like they would notice that's it's an issue and not have to be told. Also the park does not allow several breeds of dogs, so ask first if you have a Pittie, German Shepherd, etc. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

A nice RV park with mostly permanent residents. Only money or check is accepted for payment. It's well maintained and have full time maintenance crew. During our stay there were construction noise throughout the day. Wifi reception is good and speed is fast. Laundry room has 2 front loading and 2 top loading washers which costs $2.00 and $1.75 a load respectively. Dryer costs $1.75 for each 40-minute drying cycle. Sites are gravel and fairly level with grass and picnic table. We will camp here again. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As stated previously this is mostly permanent residents working the oil fields. However, it is a great and convenient RV park when passing through the area. It is not intended to be a family weekend vacation spot. The utilities were good, but Wi-Fi was not so. It was dry when we were there but I can see how the interior roads could be muddy during a rain. We stayed here in a 40 ft motorhome and would stay here again if in the area. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This park has over 200 spots and it serves mostly oil field and contractor workers. It was just muddy roads that made us leary of getting stuck. Trashy park. Mud everywhere. Could not get Internet to work even though we requested that we be close to tower so we could get reception. TV was over the air but we missed all of the news shows because they came on at 4:30. Water very difficult to connect because of their configuration. Just a miserable experience! Will never stay here again! We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very large park appearing to have been built for the migrant oil worker population. Well with rough streets. Hookup pedestals were placed in a rather unusual location at the site, making it difficult to hook up. Water taps were ensconced in large insulated drums no doubt to make usable in the cold winter. The were also difficult to use. We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Good Sam rate is $33. Both are cash or check only rates; no credit cards! The park is pretty open with small trees planted but still small. Much of the park is filled with permanent residents who are working in or with the shale oil boom. There are also a lot of manufactured homes in the park. We had a nice big pull-thru space with good utilities. There was at least a 12 foot green space between one rig and the next. It's a nice place; we would certainly return. We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here several times and are totally happy with everything. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They go all out to keep this place neat, clean and top-notch condition. The restrooms make you feel like you are in a guest's restroom. Clean, neat, and nice looking. There are a lot of oil workers living there. Their places remain neat, too. We met several of them and they are friendly and take pride in the park also. I recommend this place highly. There was no cable in the spot we had, but the TV channels come in good. There is cable in most areas of the park. The Wi-Fi was strong and easy to connect. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
