Large park with mostly permanent residents. The transient sites are toward the back as far as I could tell and it's nicer back here. Last row with a hedge row of trees and field behind. The permanent residents keep their sites very neat, no junk laying around. Frankly this is the neatest park with full timers that I have ever seen! Apparently mostly oil workers. It's also very quiet. The lot is gravel with some grass between, they have planted some trees, but they need a few years to be worth the effort! The host is very nice and helpful. It's a big park, so room to walk the dogs, but no great areas outside of the park to walk them. We walk ours several miles a day, so our only option is to walk them along the road in an industrial area....but I don't think many walk as long as we do and it wouldn't be a problem for most. The only down side is the side by side hook ups, which makes your door and the neighbor's door face each other and for some strange reason, there is only one picnic table, so you have to share that or have your own tables and chairs. The sites are pretty close, so if we open our awning and they open theirs I think they would hit. This is not an issue with the park, but an issue with our new neighbors....they have their dog on a tie out and it reaches to within 2 ft or our door, so when we try to come out of our door with our dogs, their dog lunges at us and the dogs (he's friendly, but I don't want to get them all tangled up in his tie out) and they don't seem to think it's a problem! We ended up having to ask them to move their dog whenever we come outside. Seems like they would notice that's it's an issue and not have to be told. Also the park does not allow several breeds of dogs, so ask first if you have a Pittie, German Shepherd, etc. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Theodore Roosevelt National Park is amazing! Also go to see the Petrified Forest a 1.5 mile walk in and worth every step!! Really fantastic

A nice RV park with mostly permanent residents. Only money or check is accepted for payment. It's well maintained and have full time maintenance crew. During our stay there were construction noise throughout the day. Wifi reception is good and speed is fast. Laundry room has 2 front loading and 2 top loading washers which costs $2.00 and $1.75 a load respectively. Dryer costs $1.75 for each 40-minute drying cycle. Sites are gravel and fairly level with grass and picnic table. We will camp here again. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As stated previously this is mostly permanent residents working the oil fields. However, it is a great and convenient RV park when passing through the area. It is not intended to be a family weekend vacation spot. The utilities were good, but Wi-Fi was not so. It was dry when we were there but I can see how the interior roads could be muddy during a rain. We stayed here in a 40 ft motorhome and would stay here again if in the area. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Teddy Roosevelt National Park is only 35 miles west. A super place to visit.

This park has over 200 spots and it serves mostly oil field and contractor workers. It was just muddy roads that made us leary of getting stuck. Trashy park. Mud everywhere. Could not get Internet to work even though we requested that we be close to tower so we could get reception. TV was over the air but we missed all of the news shows because they came on at 4:30. Water very difficult to connect because of their configuration. Just a miserable experience! Will never stay here again! We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very large park appearing to have been built for the migrant oil worker population. Well with rough streets. Hookup pedestals were placed in a rather unusual location at the site, making it difficult to hook up. Water taps were ensconced in large insulated drums no doubt to make usable in the cold winter. The were also difficult to use. We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Good Sam rate is $33. Both are cash or check only rates; no credit cards! The park is pretty open with small trees planted but still small. Much of the park is filled with permanent residents who are working in or with the shale oil boom. There are also a lot of manufactured homes in the park. We had a nice big pull-thru space with good utilities. There was at least a 12 foot green space between one rig and the next. It's a nice place; we would certainly return. We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would stay again any time I'm in the area. Highly recommended. No shady spots but they are planting trees so will have in a few years. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times and are totally happy with everything. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They go all out to keep this place neat, clean and top-notch condition. The restrooms make you feel like you are in a guest's restroom. Clean, neat, and nice looking. There are a lot of oil workers living there. Their places remain neat, too. We met several of them and they are friendly and take pride in the park also. I recommend this place highly. There was no cable in the spot we had, but the TV channels come in good. There is cable in most areas of the park. The Wi-Fi was strong and easy to connect. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We would definitely stay at this park anytime we are in Dickinson. Well kept, clean, quiet, and everything in order and orderly. This is a well looked after and managed park. Lots of permanents in this park but they are all attractive and well appointed and looked after. Says something for the management here. Only downer was a somewhat intermittent Internet signal. When it was good it was very very good but when it was bad it just wasn't available to us. We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly owners. Clean and neat park. Clean showers and restrooms. Lots of full time workers, but doesn't look like it as the owners have strict rules and are well liked and great managers. There are RV spaces and homes for rent all in the same park. Greatly expanded in the past few years. We would definitely stay here again. We have stayed here before these owners took over and it was good, but is excellent with these owners. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not some trashy oil field "man camp". I am sure that the owners don't put up with any nonsense, like loud parties, or racing engines. Almost all the sites are permanent residents and the travelers are put on the back row. That is good because you have very little traffic and it is right next to great dog walk area. The park is clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly. The roads are very wide, but a little bumpy. Pull throughs are long and level. Each site has a decent patch of grass and a picnic table. They do have a cash only payment policy. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends. This is an attractive campground with excellent amenities. Our pull-through spot was located at the back of the park, not far from the showers/bathrooms. The lady who checked us in was cheerful, courteous, friendly, and helpful. The bathrooms/showers were spotless and well-appointed with new tile and nice hand-held shower-heads. The bathrooms are handicap-friendly. This is a rather large park with many long-term residents. Wi-Fi coverage is excellent and its bandwidth adequate. I only have two complaints about this facility: 1) the streets are a very sandy gravel, making trips to the showers in sandals a bit unpleasant and causing the floor of both our car and our RV to be thoroughly covered with sand; 2) they accept only cash or check (no credit cards). We camped at North Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for one night on our way to another location. This campground is almost all resident workers and several mobile homes. They are expanding the campground because of the oil boom workers but could vastly improve conditions by spending some money paving the roads which are entirely dirt with gravel sites. Not the most appealing campground, but will do in a pinch. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The people was friendly at the office, and the sites are long - not too level, but really long. As the previous posting said, the roads are dusty, but they were watering them about 2-3 times a day to try to keep the dust under control. Mostly extended stay from the oil fields but no problem. We would use this park again. We camped at North Park Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a rapidly expanding RV park in an oil-patch boom town, mostly occupied by semi-permanent workers. Some sites are established with lawns, but us overnighters were put into a new area which was dirt (mud, when it rains). Laundry room was new, Wi-Fi was excellent, Verizon coverage was good and T-Mobile had none. This place is big rig friendly. Staff was very helpful. We camped at North Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
