1 Park near Fargo, North Dakota
Aug 2015 - $29.00
Beautiful Park and great for walkers. The upper campground is super tight sites. The lower is near the river nice but we were downwind of the trash so pew. Very convenient location and nice size sites where we stayed. - BonT

Stayed for a few weeks with my family in this park while in the area for a medical emergency. We were in the A loop which has some sites with nice grass and spacing, while others barely allow an open awning without touching another site. I did notice some vagrants and late night activity here that made me a bit nervous. Bike path along the Red River was very nice and allowed for easy bicycle commutes to downtown. Overall Fargo the town was very surprising, some great places to eat and good shopping. Unfortunately this is the only game in town as far as campgrounds go, so if you need to stay in Fargo this is your best (and almost only) bet. Cell coverage and internet was good, no wifi available. Also no sewer sites, only W/E. - pokeyt

Very convenient location near I-94. We had some problems with squatters/homeless people hanging out in the empty spot next to ours. The park employees kicked them out at 8:00 PM after letting them be there all afternoon and evening - awkward.
If you can get a spot near the river, it's a pretty view. The upper campground is much more cramped and is closer to the road so there's more noise. - Midwesterner
