CG in a park! We camped in Section A during the week for one night. We d/c our toad and drove through the park and talked to management before we entered due to the construction. We didn't have problems navigating the detour or park roads in 45ft MH. Expressway traffic noise was loud at site. 50amp service was great-no sharing. Water was fine, it was a 'shared spigot' but we didn't have neighbors. Used over the air TV-too many trees for satellite. There are two "bath" facilities. The one in the Information Center was nice. We would stay here again. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.

Great walking park. Some folks were fishing in the Red River. Nice Roger Maris memorial (on the park property) and there is a museum (he was a baseball player that hit 61 home runs in 1961 season) at the West Acres shopping center. Good craft beer at Fargo Brewing Company. Very nice college campus.

Local park with RV sites. My first thought was how noisy it was. Didn't realize it was right next to the freeway. Had electrical and water, but had to run water hose under the trailer to use the spigot. Because of the constant noise we would not stay here again. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not good value for you dollar! Jammed into narrow spots. Hose connection 50 ft away, road noise which is unreal plus staff that needs a serious attitude adjustment. It's now apparent to me why this is a no refund RV Park. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.

Just an overnight stay, thank goodness. Note - construction causes you to detour and eventually go down a (normally) one-way street to get to the park. The city has put up signs that you'll need to watch carefully, and it sure would have been nice if the staff person had mentioned this detour during either of the TWO phone calls I'd had with them earlier. The A section is basically a little cul-de-sac. If you're a bigger RV, get here early in the day so hopefully there are less RVs around so you'll actually be able to get into your site. If motorhome, be sure to disconnect your tow vehicle first before proceeding into the section. When I asked the staff person if we'd be able to turn around in the cul-de-sac to then back-in to our site, she replied "I don't know." So I asked, do most RVers turn around in there? "I don't know." is what I got again. So hubby and I walked it first. He decided to turn around in front of the showerhouse and back all the way down the section into our site, as it would have taken a 10+ point turn (with few other RVs around) in the cul-de-sac to get into our site. Site was unlevel and pitted asphalt. To get our truck to fit without blocking in our neighbor, we backed way up and our back jacks and tires were in the dirt/grass. As we were putting out our slides, staff came to say we can't touch the grass. That wasn't mentioned before and you aren't provided any info sheet with rules, etc. at check-in. So we had to reconnect our truck to pull forward the few feet. Then disconnect again and graciously our neighbor let us block them in so we could park by our RV. Extra vehicle parking is all the way up by the office, out of sight - no way were we doing that. The A section of the park is so close to the interstate bridge, the passing trucks/vehicles would actually shake our 40' fifth wheel sometimes. And obviously, the road noise was loud and constant. The park around the RV sites looks very nice, and the grass mowing begins promptly at 8 am. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. Section A we would avoid. Stay down by the river. Leaky toilets which leave the restroom covered in water. Many stalls do not lock shut. On busy weekends the facilities should be cleaned more often. Electric box sparked when we unplugged. A bit shocking to say the least We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.

Great park, great location, great price, great service, BUT very tight spots! The positives make up for not having sewer and being on top of your neighbors. BEWARE that there's some major construction going on near the park entrance. There is an acute and very tight right turn on the detour that we hat to use all lanes for with our 38' 5er. A 40+' one had to back and forth to get around it. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 2 nights in lot 13 in loop B. Service has water and electric, but no sewer. Electric is usually shared by 2 sites, which could be a problem. By looking at all sites, they're no pull-throughs. My neighbor's cable was bad and would trip the breaker. Has a 30 amp service, but the box was so far away (over 25') I had to use my 15amp cord to extend and share the 15 amp outlet. Water service worked with good pressure. Lots were close together. Since this is located in a city park, their are people that come and go. This is the same with those staying in the RV area. I recommend locking up. Police do patrol the area and there is a noise curfew (9pm). The lot is on asphalt, and there is a picnic table and fire-ring. Table was not in the greatest condition. Many of the lots slope toward the river. Used chocks to the direction of the slope and needed to use stacking blocks to level the trailer. Was informed by the attendant that the RV park is going under construction next year for major improvements. Better layout, pull-throughs and expansion in the works. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Travel Trailer.

If you are over 35 feet you will be staying in the "armpit", wedged between the freeway, day use area and road. The pavement is uneven, broken, with deep holes in spots. It has all the charm of an abandoned parking lot. Staff won't care about anything you complain about, so don't bother. No refunds, even if you complain to the Parks Commission. This is a dump; park in the WalMart parking lot for a better night's sleep. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.

This is a city park in town that is somewhat difficult to find and maneuver in. No signs seen to lead you to the park or campground. Big units are assigned to loop A and the smaller ones stay down along the river. Sites along the river appear better than Loop A sites. We stayed in site A10 for 3 nights. Loop A is small and the sites very close together. Have to back down the entrance to get into most sites because there is not enough room to turn around. Forget satellite service due to the trees. The area had trash laying around and lots of mud. Close to I-94 so lots of noise 24/7. Our neighbor had trash laying everywhere and was coming and going at all hours. Many people just 'hanging out' in the city park. The dump station road is slanted away from the dump station so tanks don't drain much. Not much good to say about this place but not many options in Fargo. I'll not return. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.

This was the most excellent city park we have stayed in to date. Park was very clean and grass was manicured. 50amp and water in A section. Must warn you that these are all back-in and to pull down towards the bath room to start your backing to site. Park was full of beautiful trees. Will stay again. Very tight spaces in the upper campground areas where we were camped. You're on top of the next camper with just a small grassy area between you and the next camper especially if you both have slide outs. Awnings when extended would almost cover to the next camper. Our site had low spots which had water standing in it after a rain and became muddy. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for a few weeks with my family in this park while in the area for a medical emergency. We were in the A loop which has some sites with nice grass and spacing, while others barely allow an open awning without touching another site. I did notice some vagrants and late night activity here that made me a bit nervous. Bike path along the Red River was very nice and allowed for easy bicycle commutes to downtown. Overall Fargo the town was very surprising, some great places to eat and good shopping. Unfortunately this is the only game in town as far as campgrounds go, so if you need to stay in Fargo this is your best (and almost only) bet. Cell coverage and internet was good, no wifi available. Also no sewer sites, only W/E. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Motorhome.
