Excellent park for our overnight stop, but would be great for longer stays. Old KOA, as noted by others. Plenty of room for big rigs, and the back row has recently had the power poles replaced. Owners are friendly and helpful. Gravel access road is wash boarded, so take it slow (seems worse going in than coming out). We don't have dogs but there appeared to be a nice run for them. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park was open and sites were spacious. They were having trouble with the wifi, (waiting for a tech), but was able to get good connection in the office. Restrooms were clean, cell phone service okay, owners friendly and helpful. Great for an overnight stay. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Travel Trailer.

An old KOA, well cared for by the current owners. The folks here are really nice and fun to visit with when you check in with them. The office really isn't a store but an eclectic mish-mash of crafts and handmades.
They are particular about dogs, but not unreasonable. There are big mowed dog walking areas all around the perimeter. It is a long walk!
The sites are long and level, they alternate facing direction to share a power pedestal, utilities are an easy hookup. Surprised that there are so few cable channels. If someone says cable, I expect more than six stations.
Bathrooms are typical KOA style and clean. The laundry seemed efficient, till my wife discovered the dryer she was waiting on was not heating.
This park is easy access off I94, and very close. The road noise isn't bad because everyone is moving, no slowing, no "jake-brakes".
The referenced frontage road to the Park is a washboard challenge. The big pushers with their air bags might fare better, but gas machines will bounce like popcorn in a popper. 10mph would be the suggested max.
This is a good, basic park that would be a comfortable stay in Jamestown. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a great stop over park. The road in wasn't that bad in our 42' motorhome and the park was well laid out, grassy, lots of good dog walking areas and good services. I like that the owners are on top of everything...it shows. Would stay there again if passing through. We had an end site, sun for the satellite and a nice view of cornfields, remote from interstate noise. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

The only thing I did not care for was the mile long dirt road leading to the park. You really have to drive slowly because parts of it are like a washboard and unfortunately the county will not maintain it. The park was convenient to getting off and on the interstate. Owners were great and friendly. We did not care for the site set up since you faced your neighbor door to door. Our neighbor took over our picnic table and was just outside our door but again this was just an overnight. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

They have a place in Jamestown with a very large buffalo statue that you can see from the highway and some white buffalos that we missed in our overnight stay.

This is a perfect campground. The owners are great - one of the owners guided us to our site on her bicycle. The showers are very clean with a great exhaust fan that kept the humidity down. The sites are very spacious with large trees that provide plenty of shade. I was worried that the highway would be too noisy but it was not a problem. The only drawback was the gravel road to the camp ground. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Price included a Good Sam discount. During check-in, the owner was professional, but not overly friendly. He mentioned several places where pets could not go, but did not point out where the bathrooms were or what the codes for the locks were, also, no mention of where the dumpster was. The bathrooms and dumpster were easy to find, but both my wife and I had to go to the office to ask for the codes as they are different. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The sites and roads are gravel with plenty of shade and about 20' of grass between them. We had no problem navigating the roads or getting into our site which was long enough for our 36' motorhome plus tow. Our site required about 12" of our front rams plus my 3" wood block to level our rig. The campground has cable, however when I checked in, the owner said that it didn't work yesterday but he he thought he had it fixed. It worked for about 2 hours and then became too fuzzy to watch. I didn't try the Wi-Fi as most campground Wi-Fi is just too slow, so I don't know if it worked or not. As I stated above, there is a specified area for pets, there is also a path around the park that can be used for walking your pet, or just walking. We overnighted here while heading east on I-94, and would overnight here again. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice park right off the interstate. Very welcoming couple checked us in then guided us to our site and told us all about the walking path around the park and the evening sunsets. Minimal traffic noise. Level sites. Not sure why people thought the mile long road coming in was so bad. It was just a gravel road that needed to be driven slowly. We'd stay here again. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

I agree with a previous reviewer: The 1 mile public road to this campground is washboard rough but if you can get by that you will be very happy with this campground. You are guided to your site by one of the owners via bicycle. The owners are great people. The grounds are immaculate and most sites are shaded by mature trees that are trimmed up. The sites are grass and, while no mats are allowed, the grass clippings are vacuumed up thus no mess carried into your rig. The RV sites are all pull-through, which makes it very convenient for departure with a toad. On the perimeter of the campground runs two 5-6 foot wide mowed grass walking trails, 1 for just people and the other for people and their dogs. The grass is vacuumed up on the dog trail and it is clean, no poo bombs to walk around. The location is a short drive into town for food, attractions, golf, places of worship. While the campground is close to I-94 the road noise isn't an issue. It is quiet at night. We would stay here again. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

Go slow on road to campground. The owner said the town may be looking at paving the road.

We stayed here over night on the road. Plenty of space between sites, hookups were ok, cable connection was stripped but I was able to keep the connection well enough. Large area for Dog walking. Road leading into park was a challenge as it was raining and the road was muddy, in a Motorhome that caused wheel slippage. Owners were nice enough. Utilities were well placed and site was level. Over all nice place that we would come back to some time later to visit the Buffalo museum. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

Short distance from I-94; down rough, gravel frontage road - go slow. Level, gravel sites with grass and trees in between. Some road noise from nearby freeway. Nice, clean park. Large grassy area to walk our dogs. We would stay here again. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrived here during a downpour and was met by a cheery sunny welcome from our hostess! Everything was ready for us to make the registration easy (we had only reserved the previous day and glad we did, as the campground is pretty full). She then brought us to our site on her bicycle! All sites are pull-through, which made our stay easy for an overnighter. We used our 'MS Streets and Trips" and "Magellen" GPS and had no problems with directions, though we had been given them over the phone when we made our reservation just in case. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground is clean with grass between the sites. Sites are gravel and mostly level. Owners were friendly and helpful. Was led to our site by a man on a bicycle. This campground is near the interstate, but noise was not a problem. The only thing that distracted from the experience was the mile long washboard gravel road from the exit ramp to the campground. Got there on a hot day and noticed the voltage was 109 volts, probably because everybody was running their air conditioners. Later in the evening voltage came back up. Would stay here again for an overnight. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.
