This campground is far enough away from the highway to minimize the road noise at night. All the sites are grass and back into the city park area from a gravel road. They defiantly slope to the back. We managed to snag a shaded site on the east side of the park. Lots of trains, but not at night. The restrooms were fairly clean but the showers seemed a little suspect. The dump station is next to the restrooms and pay box. We had no trouble using it. I would definitely stop here again for an overnight. ATT cell service was great. When I called/emailed to ask if they had openings, I got a response quickly - on a Saturday! We camped at Medina City Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for one night in site 20 while passing through in a 27 foot motorhome with a tow car. Chose to stay here because of good reviews. Had emailed ahead and manager said I would probably want to park in SW corner and if no one was there that I could use the back-in area as a pull through spot so that's what I did. The back-in sites do slope down to the hookups. Paid at self registration station near rest rooms. Never saw manager but he was very responsive to emails. Extended stay folk have all the spots with afternoon shade -- no fools them -- but for one night lack of shade was not a problem. There is train noise -- the whistle blows a lot -- but went to sleep and didn't hear it. There is an easy access gas station across the street. All the sites back up to a big open grassy field with picnic tables and shade trees so it was quite pleasant. The dog liked the walk around the park. I was there on a Sunday and there was only one other camper in the SW corner. Verizon worked fine. Dump station a little strange -- it is on the corner of the restroom building and access is partially blocked by a telephone pole and a fire hydrant. Probably could have figured out a way to make it work but too much trouble so didn't. Didn't use restrooms. At $15 this is a great deal for a one night stay with water and electric. We camped at Medina City Campground in a Motorhome.

None of the sites were very level for a motorhome. No problem for trailers, however. A few 50 amp outlets. Some campers look to be there for the season. Grass sites back in. No problem for big rig. No shade for the available sites. Water and power available. Dump is around the corner. Far enough off the highway for quiet night. No hosts around. We camped at Medina City Campground in a Motorhome.

Like many communities in North Dakota, this city has a "campground" that surrounds the municipal park. The couple who manages the campground for the city were very friendly and accommodating. We were the only campers there during our stay. There are no picnic tables for the sites, but electric and water are provided, along with a shower and restroom building. We stayed here to visit the national wildlife refuges nearby. We would stay here again on another visit. We camped at Medina City Campground in a Motorhome.
