Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $10.00
This park is only available to Active Duty and retired Service Members. This was the second stop on a cross country trip. The camp only has 6 slots and is first come first serve. The camp sits at the end of the base and butts up next to a large park and running track. Very nice location but nothing over the top. Bathrooms are a 2 to 3 minute walk. We did not use the showers. I believe they are located in the physical fitness gym but I don't know for sure. The camp was perfect for an overnight and the $10.00 rate just couldn't be beat. Dump station was well maintained and the flush hose allowed me to hook up to my flush king and get a good cleaning on my tanks. An employee there was very helpful and gave us his personal cell phone number to facilitate a late arrival. One word though MOSQUITOS! After sun down they will eat you alive. I would gladly stay here again. We camped at Minot Air Force Base FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Travel Trailer.Undo
