Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $15.00
There is no host. You are on your own. Electric only. We were in a 37' motor home and it was tight to get into place. Nice small town, quiet. Did not know the charge as city hall was closed when we got there, so mailed them $15.00 for one night. About 8 spaces for rigs. Really more suitable for trailers and small class c's. Very limited places to eat. We camped at Stanley City Campground in a Motorhome.
This is your basic campground with electric hookups, wide sites, lots of grass. Take the 8th st exit and go through town, past the city park, and pass under the railroad tracks--on the right. We stayed here because Williston, with the oil boom, was packed. It's great for what it is. We camped at Stanley City Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Four nights free--then rate is $35.00 per week. No showers, Pay phone on site. 48.32070N 102.38973W. Dakota Drug Company soda fountain (south 2 blocks)is the only place in the US to still sell a "whirl-a-whip." I had one and it is extremely good value for the money. We camped at Stanley City Campground in a Motorhome.
