Another year, another price increase. This is a decent place for an overnight stop, but at $27 a night it's not a value. We see this more and more in small towns and fairgrounds, raising the rates just because they can. Grass in sites is weeds and not mowed, though bank behind sites is maintained. Sites are squeezed together but fine if a space is left in between, other wise it would be impossible to open awning without hitting neighbor. Fine for an overnight stay but at this price WE'll go down the road next time. We camped at Valley City Tourist Park in a Motorhome.

Nice spot in town. Quiet and neat. Ample power. Close to most businesses. Tight entrance for our 45' coach. We were unable to enter the western spots from the west but had to enter the east side of the park to get off the road then turn around in the park and go to the western and larger spots. There is not a lot of room for turning around in the park. Suggest checking Google Earth before entering. If street traffic is heavy, getting into the park can be a challenge for larger units. Larger units might want to enter heading west. Only a few sites can accommodate a 45' unit. The front of the coach still came close to the park roadway. We camped at Valley City Tourist Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00

My wife and I like small town America RV sites, This park is just a parking site easy to find off freeway, well marked on Main St, The street in front of the park is the main drag thru town, with light traffic. The park is far enough off the interstate and far enough from railroad that its every quiet at night. This is a no frills park just a bathroom and shower which I did not use. Great customer service on the phone and took my credit card to reserve the site for a Friday night. I would stay here again. The site could have been graded level, but we were able to manage, Near site 20 a Prevost came in just before we did. It looks like the longer sites are on the east side. We camped at Valley City Tourist Park in a Motorhome.

This local city park in on the town's main street. There is some traffic noise during the day, but fairly quiet at night. Less than half of the sites were occupied during our stay (most appear to be temporary workers). The park is about one city block long with fairly spacious back-in 30 amp full-hookup sites with a number of large shade trees between the sites. The sites are very clean with gravel and grass. There is no camp host and payment is by envelope under the office door. The Verizon signal is strong. most sites can get satellite TV with a portable dish. This is a very nice park and is great for an overnight stay. We camped at Valley City Tourist Park in a Motorhome.

A clean-looking small town with small local shops, one Burger King, a Shopko and a Dollar General store.

We stayed here 3 days when our truck broke down. It was a friendly park with a friendly and helpful part time attendant. The park is pretty basic, a parking spot with full hookups and showers and a bathroom. It is operated by the city park department. Sites were quite close together but the park was no way near full during peak season. There is a small store a block away with a good selection of food, ice and supplies. Our Verizon phones and MiFi worked well. This would be a good low cost stopover. We will stay here again. Some of the sites are suitable for big rigs. A few of the sites are shaded but most are open. All sites are back In's. Tents are permitted. We camped at Valley City Tourist Park in a Fifth Wheel.
