Very quiet. There is a great agricultural museum on site. Friendly staff. There is a paved road almost to the campground. They are very busy during their big threshing show in early June. Nearest services are about 20 miles away. So be sure to fuel up and get groceries before you visit here. We camped at Dale & Martha Hawk Museum & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground offers the full gambit of sites. Electric only, full hookups, you name it. We needed and got 50 amp service for our 40-footer. This is a really unique place with vintage tractors and other farm equipment. They have several different areas that you can camp in--so satellite was no problem. We camped at Dale & Martha Hawk Museum & Campground in a Motorhome.

This simple campground is off the beaten path, but it is a gem. I don't know if we've ever been the only ones in a campground, but we had that experience here. The sites are grass, level, and the park is very well maintained and managed. The museums are wonderful to wander through. The restrooms are clean but rustic. The museum holds their annual event in June each year. There is a sewer dump and fresh water available; 30 amp only at the site. Plenty of room for all sizes of rigs and tents. The manager is looking for volunteers/work campers. If you are interested, he can use the help with maintaining the grounds, collections, and campground. Contact the park. Just like other reviews, what a little gem. We were the only campers there and spent our time walking the grounds and museum. Everyone was gracious. Had electric, parked on grass, obvious lots of room. Bathroom outdated. Very enjoyable experience, not like any other campground we've been to. We camped at Dale & Martha Hawk Museum & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a hidden jewel! We were greeted by half dozen of the Dale & Martha Museum volunteer staff. Our site had only electricity, which was not a problem. For an extra $5.00, we got admission to all of the museum buildings (which were fascinating). It is too bad that its location is a bit off the beaten path. GPS location not accurate and if traveling to this campground, it is ~3 miles east of Wolford, although the Route 30 sign is unreadable. For people with the time, looking to get off the main roads and interested in antique farm equipment and other buildings and artifacts of a lost rural era. This is a MUST stop. We camped at Dale & Martha Hawk Museum & Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice, quiet, well maintained park. We could not get a good Verizon signal, and my aircard would not work at all. Good 30 amp, and there is a sewer dump and water hydrants if you have a Y and lots of hose. The manager declined to give me my SKP discount saying "they were cheap enough anyway." We camped at Dale & Martha Hawk Museum & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is an antique farm machinery museum. $5 admission fee. They have a festival in June. The sites are grass and there is a water fill and dump available. Almost unlimited unserviced sites. Very quiet and restful place. Good 30 amp power. SKP discount. We camped at Dale & Martha Hawk Museum & Campground in a Motorhome.
