Very nice staff and location, however, this is an older park that is not designed for larger rigs. The roads are narrow and the spaces small. My rig took up the entire space and had to park the truck in an awkward location. Wifi only worked sometimes because of the volume of users. No cable. Water pressure was low at times. Only a few pull throughs had 50 amp service with no breaker on site. 30 amp was the norm. Site was not level. Had a dip on both ends. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Good food at a reasonable price at The Crows Nest. Digby scallops were great. Nice small town near by.

The main reason to stay at this park is it's proximity to Annapolis Royal. It rained the first day we were here. Water pooled in many of the campsites, fortunately not ours. The sites in section D were very close together and the roads muddy. Our site was a pull through but due to tight quarters we needed to back out of our site. The campground is family-oriented with a friendly staff, on-site restaurant, and within walking distance of town. It would be improved by upgrading the washrooms, roads, and sites. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Great food at Bistro East and a good selection of gifts at Catfish Moon Fine Crafts. Lots of interesting sites in Annapolis Royal, all within walking distance of each other: Fort Anne, Historic Gardens, Boardwalk and Lighthouse, Wharf, King's Theatre, Tidal Power Plant, French Basin Trail for walking your dogs, historic buildings, restaurants, and shops.

Rate is Canadian $. The reason to stay here is that you can walk to Annapolis Royal. It's an old park but well-maintained. The pull-through E/W/S sites are short, close together and on the main internal access road. So we chose a E/W back-in with a water view, which we pulled into with our 40-foot motorhome to get the view through our windshield. Site 4 sloped down toward the water, so we needed 8-inch blocks to get level. No problem for us. Power was strong, cell/data reception was excellent. This is a family-oriented park, so weekends are busy with lots of kids. The managers were extremely friendly and helpful. When we decided to extend our stay, they called the people who'd reserved our site and got their approval to be moved to another site. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Don't miss the botanical garden: truly exceptional. Geeks like me will love the tidal power plant tour. If you visit at high tide when the turbines aren't running, you can visit the equipment areas. The guide is excellent. We went whale watching with Mariner Cruises on Brier Island. Saw lots of humpbacks and got a 10% Dunroamin discount.

Well laid out park, on the river. Camp store and cafe are a great addition. And close to town. Roads in the park are gravel, and most pull thru sites are grass. Sites are fairly small (20 x 50). Several motorhomes had to park their tow vehicle on an empty lot. Most of the sites on the Annapolis River were seasonal RVer's. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a week. The roads were gravel and not well maintained. WiFi was weak at best and sometimes not there at all. The sites were very narrow and close together with all services on one pole. We liked the area and decided to stay another week. Even though the overnight sites were about 70% empty, we were told we would have to move if we stayed because our site had been pre-assigned and could not be changed. We moved from the park instead. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Good park and great location for our purpose. Nice looking playground and waterfront; did not use. Lots of spaces for motor homes, 5th wheels, travel trailers and tent sites. Not crowded when we were there, but sites may be close if the park were full. WiFi OK. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful large campground but would feel crowded when full. Easy access to back-in site. Most campsites are in full sun, but there are some close to the river that are shaded. Older restrooms and showers were adequate. There is a swimming pool and a playground. There is a small store, a cafe (we did not eat there), and ice cream available. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners were enthusiastic and helpful. We almost didn't choose this park due to a couple of negative reviews, but we are glad we did. Some notes: The is a campground, not an RV resort. So yes, there are kids and their pets, and families that are fortunate enough to come for the whole summer. There are several seasonal sites here, which are in the middle area. If you choose a riverfront site, you will not be surrounded by seasonal campers and will have a lovely view. That said, we were there over the first long weekend in May, and a couple of the seasonal families were building decks. My husband went over to 'sidewalk superintend' and ended up with a hammer in his hand (which he enjoys). As a result we were invited to their inauguration BBQ. We found the seasonal families all to be friendly and not obnoxiously noisy, and we are retired folks with no kids or pets along. The park is within walking/cycling distance of Annapolis Royal, and on Saturdays there is a great farmers market as well as local restaurants etc. Definitely worth it. The restaurant attached to the park serves a hamburger large enough to share, and on a home-made bun besides. We usually cook for ourselves, but had such an enthusiastic invitation that we decided to try it. Recommended. Maintenance is ongoing, and the owners could be seen working in various areas of the park. We would camp here again in a heartbeat. Best said it is adequate. The "pull" through sites are short and if other units are on sites, maneuvering is almost impossible. Sites are far from level, power is good but water pressure is inconsistent. Was in the shower, soapy and shampoo and water disappeared! If you wish to use the "new" wifi, don't plan on staying in your coach. It is intermittent at best. A large motor home parked next to us and the signal was lost until it moved. The laundry has 4 each of washers and dryers and all worked although they were old. Could use some place to hang clothes as they come out of the dryer and a good cleaning. The good thing going for this campground is great ice cream at a good price. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy campground to find and fast check in to the park. The person was friendly. The internal roads needed attention in the worst way because they had large pot holes. The first site we had wasn't level and also very difficult to access. I asked for a different pull through site and was given one. It was much better however the access was still somewhat difficult. There is a nice restaurant located next to the office. The water pressure was low at times. Many sites are grass and it had rained so it was a little muddy for some of the campers when they were ready to leave. Limited TV reception; only one station. We camped here in a 5th wheel. They had a swimming pool and laundry facilities but we didn't use them. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Campsite was a pull through and was level and grassy. However, these sites are extremely narrow and had our neighbor been parked all the way over on his lot our awning would have touched their trailer. This would be an extremely packed area had the campground been full. The playground has some interesting items (all made out of scrap wood) but there is little standard playground equipment. It appears somewhat dated and is really lacking things for the children to play on. The pool is extremely small for a campground of this size. There is a small beach but most of it is rocky. The washrooms were clean but appeared dated as did most of the items at this campground. There is also a historic graveyard literally feet some of the sites. This is not something we were told about and while it may be fine for some, I find it rather unsettling to be sleeping that close to graves. The graveyard is in disrepair and it is obviously not respected or tended to. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older park with a nice location on the river. The spaces are either back-in or pull through. Most are 30 amp sites. The sites are quite narrow and if the park was full would be very congested. The laundry and washrooms need some cleanup. This may be because it was the end of the season. They have 2 Wi-Fi sites but even with a strong signal could not provide continuous service with only a few campers in the park. Rate is with Good Sam discount. We arrived on Friday, staff not overly friendly. Woke up Saturday morning to no water, I first thought our own trailer but realized it was campground. Our neighbor had called the office at 4:00 am to report no water. My husband who is a licensed pump installer talked to the owner. He didn't want to step on anyone's toes locally but could have had water fixed in 2 hours. Owner advised they were getting a pump from local well driller. He asked my husband if the price they were charging him was a good price. Water was available from town with a very small pipe but because so many on it, it was like a trickle. We had to fill our own trailer tank in order to have water. Showers were out of the question. Two other couples with us had reported no water to office. Upon checkout our friends requested a reduction in rate that they paid for full-hookup. Staff were unbelievably rude saying no one told them no water, this was completely untrue and kicked them out of the office telling them not to come back. Well guess what word of mouth is a powerful thing. We did like the campground but how can you go back when you were treated this way. When you pay for full hook up, you expect to get the service. Supposedly nobody else in the campground had an issue with the water. That is complete bull****. If I owned a campground it wouldn't matter how much a new pump cost, one would be installed right away to give my customers what they paid for. Wi-fi was a complete joke too. Very friendly staff. Plenty of room for 40 ft rigs. A caravan with several big rigs was here when we checked in, utilizing all the 50 amp sites. A different caravan replaced them the next day. Sites are level grass with plenty of room for slides and toad. 30 amp was steady with 115V to 120V. Strongly recommend the lantern graveyard tour in Annapolis Royal (suggested by the campground staff). Good satellite reception. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

As mentioned by another rater, the best thing about this campground is the location. The campground hosts, a young married couple, were both friendly. This campground was not designed to handle anything longer than 30'. We have a 41' motorhome and I have driven it and parked it in some pretty tight places. We would not have been able to enter or exit our site had there been anybody behind or next to us. This campground didn't have anything to offer us except location. Pretty muddy when we visited. We wouldn't stay here again. The Wi-Fi was not very good. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.
