Great location! Easy short drive into town. All sites are back-in, but even the largest of rigs will fit. No trees. Roads are a bit tight, but you shouldn't have any problem if you pay attention. We were camped there during Canada's Labour Day weekend and the park was full! glad we make reservations well in advance. Gravel site, fairly level. Great Wi-Fi! We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I know this website says do not include the tax when telling of the daily rate, but with the tax it was $55.20 a day. The park is very simple and very close to town. Walking distance actually. The park is big rig friendly with no trees to scratch your rig and it has gravel pads and interior road. We would stay here again..... We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.

We had FHU in the upper lot, if we would come again we would ask for the lower lot with E/W for the great water views. Gravel sites, soft water and good power. Tough walk up and down hill but the town is beautiful. We used the $1 a day WiFi which worked very well. Nothing fancy but the town is the reason for coming here. Rate is CAN$ for E/W overflow site in upper lot. No-frills but adequate and perfectly located to walk to town. The campground is very busy and used by large motorhome caravans, so reservations are advised. The staff was very helpful and worked hard so we could extend our stay. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.

Take the Lunenburg walking tour as soon as you can upon arrival. Our guide's family were original settlers, so the background he provided really helped us to better plan and appreciate the rest of our visit.

No campfires permitted in this part of Lunenburg. Small campground use by the town, with no activities for children. BEST part is being able to walk into town. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Recommend. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Due to a reservation misunderstanding we were given a full hookup site at dry price. Sites in the upper full hookup & W/E section are close but the campground is not the attraction, the town is, and all is within walking distance. Overall it is pricey for what it is but the location cannot be equaled. We took the $1.00 per day Wi-Fi, which works but is somewhat slow. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This simple grass & gravel campground was a fine base to explore the wonderful town of Lunenburg. Wide gravel driveways gave good access to a reasonably level gravel pad on a grass site. Although a bit narrow, it was quite sufficient for our 37' MH and toad. Neighbors were close, but they were all friendly. The water, 30 amp, and sewer connections were convenient. The town of Lunenburg provides free WiFi up to 300 mb, but it was only $5 to upgrade to unlimited for our week-long stay, and it was both reliable and fast. We did not use the bathrooms. With a discount of one free night for each two paid, the (CDN$31 = US$23) price seemed a good value for the amenities offered. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Lunenburg is a short walk from the campground and offers myriad attractions like the Fisheries Museum, several galleries, numerous restaurants, etc. I especially enjoyed a late breakfast at the Savvy Sailor Cafe. There is also a good bike trail that starts just behind the campground and runs 9 miles to Mahone Bay and connects there to further trails.

Water & electric 30 amp site was the only one available to us since a caravan was due in (they stayed only one night but took up all the FHU sites). Sites are very close to each other, RV next to us extended his awning and hit our slide out even though we were as far over in our site as possible, little room for our towed vehicle. Park is very convenient to visit Lunenburg but overpriced for the services offered. Free WiFiis only 100mb per day after the first 300mb it is $5 for 3 days or $10/week. 3 over the air TV signals available. No laundry available. Staff very nice and helpful. Tips for other Campers:

Many things to do in Lunenburg, restaurants, shopping, museums, ships on the wharf downtown, area is steeped in history for such a small town. This area is very scenic when the fog lifts and is wonderful for photographers.

We stayed 2 nights at this small park, which is in walking distance to town. There were very few campers there; if it had been full it would have been very crowded. Restrooms and showers were clean. There is no laundry facility. There is a water view to both sides of the campground if it is not foggy. Wi-Fi is free for the first 24 hours, then $5 per device for 3 days. Two of our three tablets were unable to connect to Wi-Fi at all. Wi-Fi was also available free by using the computers at the visitor center on the property, free, but you then have to cope with people going in and out to ask questions about the area. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We gave this a 5 because of it's close walking distance to the old town of Lunenburg. The hookups were conflicting from site to site. Some sites like ours were Not level. Wi-Fi was very good. We would only stay here again because of the close walking distance to the town. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.

The location is excellent. We were able to walk down town from the campground and visit all the attractions. The staff was friendly and eager to provide assistance on attractions in the area. We attended the Thursday Farmers Market which we thoroughly enjoyed. The RV sites were a little short but worked okay. The sewer connection was difficult because the connection was below ground level in a pipe. It had rained and the sites were muddy and with ruts. They definitely need to apply some crush rock to the RV sites. Internet service was very good and fast. There are no laundry facilities and no shade trees. It was a quiet campground except for the fog horn one night. We camped there 3 nights, and we would probably stay there again if we were in the area. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

On an elevation at the edge of Lunenburg with a nice visiting center, free WiFi, with a single simple bathhouse, an upper flat gravel/grass area with E-W shared by two sites, and a lower level that I am not sure if had E-W and without a bathhouse. There is a great view of a bay behind the town from the campground. Steep streets down to town with lots of tourist attractions and actual boat works and several tall ships. The seaport museum at the wharf is a really well done gem and worth spending several hours there. Well done talks are given by staff, and there is a free boat ride about the harbour included with the museum fee. The campground is way overpriced itself and is really just a convenient place to stay to visit Lunenburg. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.

What a delight to find in the center of the most picturesque city in Nova Scotia. Not fancy but more than adequate. I would give it a 10 but for not having 50 amp. They have 22 electric, water, sewer sites. Odd # sites 14-22 are best for big rigs as the electric pedestals are shared and the even #'s have the electric on the passenger side. We had site #22 but fortunately had a extra cord that made it around the RV. Run by the city, the office is in the Visitor Information Center (in Canada known as VIC on the maps and signs) The staff is more than friendly and helpful. Only 30 miles to Halifax and plenty to see around here. Would stay here again without question. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.
