If you don't have extensions for your power and water, make sure you request site with facilities in correct place as some of the services are awkward to reach. No sewer on site and dump station is weird - up a hill and then a difficult turn to the left! Toilets and showers are old but clean, good laundry. Wifi spotty. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice spot along the river with lots of room between RV's. Very nice staff and also a 10% CAA discount. Clean washrooms and showers. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is an average family oriented campground, with helpful staff at check in. Interior road is gravel, as was our 50 amp level back in site, we had no sewer and the dump station was impossible to get to in a forty foot motor home, big rig access was adequate for the camp site. Quiet during the week but hectic and noisy at weekends, some grass and a picnic table, our site backed onto a small river with ducks. Most sites were seasonal or permanent and there was a lot of junk around them. Bathrooms were dated but spotlessly clean, and the laundry clean and well equipped. There is a small pool at the rear of the property. Construction work on the bridge overpass makes it extremely tight for big rigs to get to the campground. We would not stay here again. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

Campground is mainly seasonal/permanents. We had site L4 which is a very long pull-through with significant shade. No sewer hook-ups and the dump station is in a very difficult place. Pump truck available. Could not get good cable TV reception. WiFi available at a price: $15 / day or $25 / week. Rate is based on 2 nights on Passport America & 2 nights at full price. Would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Found the park to be well maintained but the laundry had but one machine so took time to do laundry. Staff was very nice and helpful. They have a sewer pump that can come to your site and empty your tanks. Makes it easier than using the dump station which is a bit tight for a large rig. Wi-Fi was poor and cell service for us was non existent. We enjoyed our stay and would return again. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice family run park on small river. They are very nice/helpful. Has gravel roads. Has a small store with heated showers/restrooms. Cable TV worked well. Good place to camp to see the local sites. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a family oriented campground which is super friendly. There are many riverfront sites. There is strong electric service and excellent water pressure and quality. Almost every site is tree shaded. There is strong WiFi ($$). The honey Wagon service twice weekly makes up for the non-full hookup sites. Reservations are required weekends and desirable weekdays during high season. Its a great location to explore and enjoy the "South Shore" of Nova Scotia from Lunenburg to Peggy's Cove. We have been here 6 times and have met campers that have visited for 15 years - need I say more? We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a nice long pull thru in the trees. We did not see any sewer hook ups. There was a honey wagon going thru the park. Most of the sites had seasonal camping. But everyone was quiet and friendly. The road into the park is very narrow and you don't want to have to meet someone going the other direction. The staff was very friendly, we had trouble hooking up to their Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi was costly. We had no cell service in the park. We would stay here again, but make sure the black tank is empty when arriving. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Passport America park. There were many seasonal campers but all were very friendly. Our spot backed up to the river (a stream to us) but still very relaxing. The owner was extremely friendly and efficient. There is a charge for WIFI. Our only complaint was the very long single lane, treed entrance street (1/2 mile+). It was difficult to maneuver with a large motorhome. We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

The owners of this campground live on-site, and they are very welcoming at the reception desk, and always agreeable and helpful. The campground is very pretty; we had a large, level pull-through site among tall pine trees, and some sites are on the river. Cable television is provided at no extra cost, and there is a nice swimming pool. We also enjoyed the tag sale that was taking place in the campground on one day during our visit. We did not have reservations, as we were traveling during the shoulder season, but I think reservations would be necessary during the high summer season, at least on the weekends. The location provides a good base camp for visiting pretty nearby towns like Mahone Bay, and historic Lunenberg, which is best explored by walking and where the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic is a "must see". We camped at RayPort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
