3 Parks near Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
Jul 2016 - $40.00
I think the downside of this campground was "Christmas in July." Some sites were decorated with nativity scenes, banners, AND carols being played so all around could enjoy: UGH! Christmas is way too commercialized as it is. We certainly didn't need a second one in July!
The sites in the park were a nice size with vegetation between each site. We didn't use the facilities so can't comment.
Wifi was spotty at best. Ended up sitting outside laundry room (wifi hub) to get access.
Staff was attentive and helpful.
We would stay here again but not in July. - DCM/JMB
Sep 2015 - $40.00
We stayed here in a motorhome waiting to catch the ferry to the States. The staff was very helpful when it was necessary to extend our stay to meet the ferry schedule. The WiFi was strong when it was on, But sometimes it wasn't there at all. We didn't use any of the facilities. We would recommend this campground. - User3588
Sep 2014 - $40.00
Very convenient to Yarmouth. We had a good size pull-through site. We had a full hookups. Power was a little low but no much different than other parks we visited in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Although the staff said Wi-Fi did not work throughout the park it was good at our site. We did not use the restrooms or showers. We would stay here again. - RayN
Jun 2010 - $31.00
Nine miles north of Yarmouth, lake swimming, laundry, full service sites mostly seasonal, E/W sites around the lake, fairly level sites, old but clean bathhouse, quiet, friendly manager on site. Leaving the campground can be a bit tricky because you must drive onto the highway with a blind curving crest in one direction and a blind curve in the other. Sites not well maintained, grass growing up around seasonal campers. - cruiser2010
