This is by no means a $42 per night RV Park; at most a $25. It is a very basic park with w/30/50/s. No cable, no wi-fi. Roads are narrow gravel and sites are gravel. We would never stay here again primarly because of the price. One is paying a lot more and not getting much in return. We camped at Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for one night on an east coast to midwest trip. Enjoyed fishing (catch and release) in the campground ponds, and a good long bike ride on the Western Reserve Trail which is easily accessible from the campground. The facilities were showing some age, and could use a bit of updating; the back part of the park was occupied by semi-permanent seasonal campers and park models. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were guided to our site. A nice quiet place to stay. We camped at Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

For a unique experience, go to the Covered Bridge Pizza Parlor in Ashtabula. Good pizza served in a relocated covered bridge.

GPS will get you to driveway to the site. Most sites are occupied by permanent trailers, but they do have 4-6 pull throughs. Roads are a little tight, but we made it without problems in a motorhome with toad. We would stay here again. We camped at Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground in a Motorhome.
