This is a lovely park with a beautiful lake. Lots of well-kept seasonal rvs. Well kept with lots of lawns and gravel roads to walk the dogs. We stayed in one of the few pull-thrus, which are at the back of the park. This is the noisy section: the highway is right next to the campsites. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here because it was enroute to Amish country, a couple of hours away.

Fire Lake Camper Park is a mostly seasonal user campground situated around a small lake and close to (in) Bowling Green. They had about 12 RV sites for short term stays.

Everything was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly, and helpful.

They had a restroom with several toilets and sinks. All well built and clean. The showers were separate rooms with a shower, dressing area and two hooks which were well built and clean.

We had a back-in site with water and 50 amp electric.

During our stay the outside temps were hot and the electric service was great. I ran both air conditioners and the electric voltage stayed at about 119VAC.

We would recommend to others. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The owner was very accommodating. We arrived after 5:00 and she came to our site to check us in. We stayed one night so the pull-through site was perfect. The people who camp there are so friendly and my kids loved fishing there. I highly recommend this park. The only downside I have to say is that it was not full hookup. Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

Great little park that surrounds a lake. Close to I-75 and a nice place with layover for a night or two. We are a big rig and the pull through was adequate with a nice picnic table and fire ring. Unfortunately it was raining the entire day/night we were there so we didn't get to use them. The only downside to this park is that there is no sewers, only water and electric. Being full-timers, we like a full hook up when we can get it. But, the park was quiet, clean, and easy to get in and out of. Lots of nice little places nearby to visit and very close to BGSU. We will definitely put this place on our list of good parks to layover at. So glad we found it. It was a great value with the Passport America discount. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A great place to stay if you are visiting Bowling Green State University. There is also a great car museum, Snook's Dream Cars, as well as the quaint little town of Grand Rapids, OH nearby with dozens of little shops to explore and a fantastic river walk and museum.

I was pleasantly surprised at Fire Lake. I had read that there are mostly seasonal sites, but they have added a lot of overnite spots with water and electric. The lake was beautiful and there were lots of things going on for the kids. The owners have a nice covered picnic area and a new basketball spot. Everything was neat and we would definitely recommend staying there. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrived after hours and was met by the owner doing his chores; he escorted us to our site. We used the laundry and showers. Most of the sites are long term occupied. They maintain several sites for overnighters. We would come here again. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this site overnight while traveling. It was more than adequate for that purpose. Due to the length of my trailer we used a site that was on the road entering the RV park versus actually being in the park. As a result, there was no one else around us and this presented us with a quiet night. It had rained quite a bit in the preceding days and while the site was a bit soggy that was to be expected. There were no sewer hook ups available which we had forgotten to ask about over the phone before we made our reservation. The park does have a dump site, but our RV was too big to adequately use it and turn around. Keep that in mind. Access on and off the interstate was easy and it wasn't too far away. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

We camped here overnight. The fee is based on Passport America. The staff was friendly. The road and site were gravel. Water, 30 amp electric was all that was available. Did not use the dump site. Big Rig friendly. The lake was small, but very attractive. The pull thru sites are right below a highway, but road travel was very light in the evening. Dish Satellite. Had good reception. We would stay here again, overnight. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice sites, good showers, and clean restrooms. Sites are situated around a pond which is a plus in the heat. There are no sewer hook ups, but the dump station was easy to use. A Super Walmart and Home Depot are close by. Even thought it is close to a busy road, we didn't hear a lot of noise at night. We would stay here again. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

We needed an overnight for our 40' 5th wheel and they accommodated us. As a Passport America park the price was just right. Our 7 rating was based on no site sewer, only 3 pull throughs and only 30Amp. Otherwise we found it just fine and we'd return. Downtown Bowling Green is bustling plus Wal-Mart and Home Depot are only about 3 miles away. What else do you need? We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground has mostly fulltime Summer residents. We were here in the late Summer, early Fall and they had 3 pull-through sites available and several back-ins. The office staff was rather indifferent to renting or not renting. Sites are close but nice and level. It is close to Bowling Green and Fremont (Hayes Presidential Museum). The laundry has cold water to wash and two washers and dryers. We would stay here again. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

Nice place and great 8 acre lake. Only a half dozen pull thrus and were a bit surprised when we found there was only a dump station for sewer. A bit noisy from roadway. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.

Owners were very accommodating. They recently added 8 new full hookup sites (back ins) in a separate section. They are easily accessible for large rigs that are planning a short stay. Most other sites are permanent residents. We were very comfortable and would definitely return. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent 4 nights here with the grand kids. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the park was very clean as were the bathrooms and showers. They have a nice swimming and fishing lake which kept the kids busy. This is our second time here and we would not hesitate to stay here again. There are many shops and stores within a five minute drive. The $14 rate was due to Passport. 6 years full timing. We camped at Fire Lake Camper Park in a Motorhome.
