18 Parks near Canal Fulton, Ohio
Aug 2015 - $32.00
Went there for a 3 day concert. They kept up with the influx without missing a beat. Porto's were as clean as can be expected. Very relaxed atmosphere. Had a great time.
Not sure of the actual rate, as the camping was included with the concert tickets. - Oldenphat
Aug 2015 - $46.00
The park is not exactly beautiful natural scenery unless you like travel trailers clustered around a small lake. They have lots of rules too. You are required to wear a wristband....but why?
It is a RV park with lots of permanent trailers with the usual trailer junk surrounding them. It's fine for those who like that sort of thing, but when I go traveling I want peaceful beautiful natural surroundings. You don't get that at Clays! - R Moutz
Jun 2015 - $55.00
We stayed during Country Fest. Park was overwhelmed as we expected. We attended the Fest and that was our reason for staying in the park. It was convenient to be in the park. Would be stay otherwise, probable not. Interior roads and layout not designed for a long RV like ours. Roads were very rough with lots of pot holes. Site driveways were angled the wrong direction. - eaglessoc
Aug 2015 - $23.00
The park has 60% season campers, all very friendly. No sewer, everyone uses the dump station. 20/30 amp electric only. Has a large pond with two slides and sandy beach. Stayed four days and would go back. - Lindas Old Man
May 2016 - $69.00
For our family of 2 adults and 4 kids, this was a value as everything was included. If we would have had to pay for the amenities separately it would have been more costly. If you are camping here with 2 adults, it is overpriced, in my opinion. The water park/swimming pool was nice and is included with the site. The mini golf was in pretty good condition and was included. The kids loved the activities: gaga ball, playground, late night movies. Definitely a family park. The main camping area was full so they put our group in the seasonal section across the road. It was farther away from the attractions and shower house, but much nicer. Our sites were much larger and shaded, compared to the others that were in the full sun and tight together. - breakingwind
Mar 2013 - $53.00
Camped here only because no other places are open this time of year. Way overpriced for what you get. Gravel/muddy roads and sites, no cable, and no Wi-Fi we could find. The owner is friendly and helpful and this may be a good place with kids in the water park season, but is not the greatest place in winter months. - Grumpier99
Aug 2012 - $27.00
This is a great park for kids. They have a lot of fun activities and open spaces. While the sites are gravel, there is beautiful grass and landscaping. The rate reflects PA, and they will not offer PA in the future. This park would rate an "8" if they offered cable TV. We will camp here again. - larriin
Sep 2016 - $40.00
We picked up our new 5th wheel nearby and they gave us a huge pull through site so that we had room for our rig, truck and U-Haul. We stayed for 3 days. Sites on the hill (50 and up) are best for big rigs, but all sites are nice, graveled, level with large area of grass in between. The water park and campground close the last week of August which was perfect for us. We rode our bikes all over the farm, ran our dogs and enjoyed the company of only a few other rigs. All buildings and grounds were clean and well kept. It is on the edge of the Amish country so be careful to share the road with the carriages and people walking. - Traveler Anne
Jun 2016 - $30.00
Very clean. Nice pull-through sites. Level sites. Swimming available. - Gary Ohio Camper
Oct 2015 - $34.00
Access to the campground was good via Rt. 241/93 off US 30. Internal park roads are paved and sites are narrow crushed stone with lovely wide areas of grass between sites. We drive a 44'MH with tow and we were able to maneuver into our site (#53) without removing the car. We were also able to exit from this site with the car attached. This section of the campground is mostly full hookup pull-thru's and it might be difficult to exit with a tow attached if one were closer to the road. The sites in this area are level with a picnic table and fire ring included on the site. The older section of the park is among old tall trees and looks lovely, although some sites appear to have a slope from back to front. The campground is peaceful and would be full of activities for families and kids during open season. We were there the last weekend they were open so the water aspects of the park were closed. The back open tent area is a lovely walk with the dog. We used the Wifi successfully without issue and our satellite worked great. We did not try the cable or restroom facilities. We would return the Baylor Beach Park if going back through this area. - LvR
Aug 2016 - $58.00
This is one of the best-maintained campgrounds we've visited. Sites are mostly level, although when we stayed in our motorhome several years ago, getting level with all wheels on the ground was a challenge. The restrooms, showers, and recreation facilities are clean, modern and well-appointed, and the laundry is phenomenal. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. - lkqh
Aug 2016 - $52.00
This is about the cleanest campground we have been too. We were on site 1 and loved it. The bathrooms and showers are great. Very clean. They have an indoor poor and whirlpool and it was nice. If you get a site in the lower end, I noticed you will have to use blocks to level your unit. I have zero negative remarks to make about this place. Outside the grounds, the scenery is beautiful. - Mike4625
Aug 2016 - $50.00
This is a very nice campground from the moment you check in. A rustic log cabin greets you at check in which was quick and smooth. The camp store is well stocked and the check in area is attached to a huge, modern laundromat. The facilities of this campground were very clean and maintained with the pool and spa being indoors with a large video game area and showers adjoining. Roads were paved and sites generally in good shape. The one criticism is the slope of the sites. Many campers had difficulty leveling as evident by the blocks under their tires and obvious grade of their RV's. - skiddy
Jul 2016 - $83.00
I guess when you are the only game in town, you can soak folks. On top of the pricey rate they charge extra for kids. $93.00 a night in the sticks is criminal. And for that you can tote your own rubbish, as they don't pick it up. They don't escort you to your site and the "store" is the most dismal excuse for a camp store. It's even dusty.
On the plus side they have good directional signage off I-77.
We had a lovely site. But as the case, a little too close. These patio sites are nice, but have a grand view of A HUGE regional landfill. The buzzards circled several times. There had to be 50 to 100 buzzards in the air.
Then there is the air. Don't know if it's there septic system or the landfill. It stunk so bad we could not enjoy the outside facilities.
The design separates seasonal and over night guest. It a pretty good design. The mini golf looks (we did not play) among the best.
A nice KOA. But the Keep on Adding on, kills the deal. - wdw
May 2016 - $75.00
Stayed over a popular weekend, as we traveled across the country. We were told only a premium site was available when we called ahead to make reservations. A "premium" site was a narrow pull through site with roadway on both sides of us. When we pulled out our awning, it was into the roadway at the front of the motorhome so we ended up not using the awning. Restroom had a severe sewer odor the entire weekend, even after office staff was advised. The "pond" is really a water runoff collection site with unusable equipment sitting at the edge. No phone reception or internet access even though we were among the closest sites to the office. To add insult, there was a premium charge for having 2 children with us. This is not a place I would stay at again. We travel for months at a time and have done so for years. This review is not because I am overly picky! - Ms Winnie
Apr 2015 - $60.00
Outstanding park with a friendly staff. Spent a month and a few days here after taking a job in Cleveland. Staff ALWAYS answered any and all of my questions. The site was level and of ample length for my 5th wheel. The negative comments of this park from 2008 & 2009 DO NOT reflect the condition of the park or the competence of the staff today. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! - DANANDHISBETTERHALFJUDY
Jul 2015 - $47.00
The people at the front desk were great, ready with any questions you might have. The laundry room was very clean and just one inside door from the office so very handy if you need change. Beautiful views of the fields all around the park. - michelle 17
May 2013 - $47.00
Stayed here one night as a stop over for our return trip home. Pull through site was horse shoe shaped, but able to accommodate our small trailer (20ft) and F150 without unhooking. Almost level. The front of the trailer was 2 inches higher than the back per my level. Lots of seasonal campers in this campground, but very nice trailers/fifth wheels. Campground grounds are reasonably kept up and gravel drives aren't too bad. Decent water pressure and cable TV was okay in the higher channels, but not so great with the lower numbers for some reason. We had campsite 5. - Mike & Annie
Jul 2016 - $33.00
Gated park, both in and out. Very nice park. Well maintained. Very friendly staff.
They have an area for visitor parking which was great.
Will definitely be staying here again on our trips to Ohio to visit In-Laws. - arkansasmel
May 2016 - $30.00
Friendliest permanent campers I have ever met! Nice size pool. A lot of activities planned all day. Small campground but well kept. Owners are very friendly. - Travelingcouple2016
May 2016 - $19.00
A very clean park. The sites are long with centrally located hook ups. They are level. The wifi was fine, but did have to pay extra for it. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. - Al and Anne-Marie
