Generally very clean, but our fire pit was completely full of ashes when we arrived, and no one ever came to clean it out. The people in the site next to us pulled in front first instead of backing in, so their windshield was facing our drivers side windows. So, no privacy. A porta potty was right across from us. On our third afternoon, our 30 amp electric kept cutting off, even though we weren't using anything except one AC and fridge. It was a very warm day, so this made our last night most uncomfortable. They said there was nothing they could do because they couldn't get an electrician until the next day. Since this is a County owned, very large park, that's really unacceptable. I feel certain the county employs many electricians. Water pressure was not too good either. Took almost 1 hour to fill our freshwater tank. They only have a few sites with full hookups and the rest are 30 amp only, with no water or sewer. Definitely not worth what they charge for 30 amp service and nothing else. It's in a sketchy area, but it is gated. The price includes a $14.00 annual entry fee you are forced to pay. Not sure I would come back. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

This is our second trip since 2015. There is now a splash area for kids. The sites are clean and level. The utilities work great. There is a concrete patio. There is not much shade on full hookups. The 2 mi walking path is always busy and boat rentals are available. We visited downtown CincIncinnati, Ark Encounter, ikea, the basilica in Covington, and Houdini's Escape from the campground. All was within 45 minutes but the road construction near Cincinnati is horrible. It's a nice place to stay to visit all things southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky and we will be back again. Nice place! We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground close to Cincinnati. Good location to visit the city from - perhaps too close. We stayed over July 4th weekend and the drunks were worse than what we have experienced anywhere. The campground facilities are nice as is the park they are connected to. Service was good from everyone except those who are supposed to enforce quiet hours. The quoted price doesn't reflect the Park entry fee of $10 per day. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lots of gravel tent camping areas with electric only. Some gravel with FHU. Some concrete FHU. Generally a very goood quiet camp with spacoius lots. Since we were on electric only, we had to fill fresh water tank often, our site 42 was far from shower house. Water fill stations were very few and hard to access. However, will stay here again. We've stayed here 2x for a total of 12 nights. Great setting & location with plenty of amenities. The weekends in the summer get a lot of families, but the weekdays are very quiet. We will stay here every year when we come to Cincinnati. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Well kept, level sites with plenty of room. A pretty park with lots to do -- walking, running, biking, boating. Water pressure was very low during the weekend and improved on Monday but tasted good. Power was reliable and stable. Sewer outlet spaced conveniently. Staff pleasant. Price listed includes tax, but there was also a one time $10 vehicle fee. We plan to return. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground rules not enforced. Diverted valve went off couple times and woke up to water pouring on ground. Reported it to office to no avail.....vandalizism, bad valve, etc??? They didn't know how it was to work nor did they offer to send Maintenance over to check out / change out. Fixed problem myself with pipe clamp only to have it happen again. So I added a couple zip ties and that resolved the problem for me anyway....not sure about next tenant. Appears WW needs monies so bad they even let folks stay beyond their own written rules....no more than 14 days in any 30 day period. What's good for one, should be good for all. We stayed on site #12R which was a FHU pull through site at the end of the row. It was a very large site with a concrete pad and patio. The site included a fire ring and picnic table. Because of the vegetation that has grown up around the lake the waterview was minimal. Internet is Tengo Net and as we have seen to many times, it is poor at best and this was no different. Most of our stay we were unable to use it.

This is a well maintained campground with lush green grass which is kept mowed and weed whacked. We saw maintence people out constantly keeping the grounds groomed and neat.

As far as the daily park fee, we opted for the $10 annual pass and didn't have a problem paying it because we felt it keeps this beautiful park looking as nice as it does. There are security stations at various areas of the park to help keep out the riff raff. We would definitely return if in the area. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Campground is located in a great county park with a meandering paved recreational trail around a lake used by fishermen and kayakers / canoeists. The roads and pull-through sites are paved but have no privacy. The older section is treed and the sites are more varied with some privacy.
An evening storm knocked out the power while we were there and the camp host and camp office had no idea when it would be restored. Power was still out when we left the next day and we were told they had lost power a few days earlier for many hours. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

We stay here when visiting our daughter in Cincy. Nice park and if you are lucky enough to get a lake view site, a great park. Electric, water and wifi are good. Sites are level and include table and fire ring. The only problem is that you must pay either a $3 per day park admission or a $10 per year pass. Winton Woods is a county park in Hamilton County, Ohio, just north of the city of Cincinnati. This is a very nice campground in a beautiful county park. The campground has primitive sites, sites with water and electric as well full H/U sites, both back-in and pull-thru. Driveways are asphalt, site pads are gravel with pull-thru site pads being concrete. We had a back-in site which included a concrete patio, picnic table and fire ring. There is a WiFi service included that generally worked well but at times was not usable. The bathhouse was generally clean and well maintained. The park is very nice with a large lake and many miles of walking/biking trails and watercraft rentals. We paid $38.50 per night. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, well laid out park with paved roads. Different sites/types have different ground cover and different prices. The park requires a daily fee of $3 which is not included in campground price. Landscaping is nice, with many young trees. There is a lovely walking path used by campers and other locals. The water hook-up is odd and we needed to ask a staff member to help us with it. The staff was very friendly & seemed to work hard to present a nicely kept park. The restrooms were clean. It is a good place to visit Cincinnati. We liked it here, although it is pretty expensive. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Do not order the pizza from the store on premises. Although they deliver to your site, it was not edible, and we normally will eat any & all pizza. Donato's pizza is 2 miles south, across from Krogers.

Approach from the North is an easier drive than from the South. Park was bucolic and clean. Pull through sites were concrete with large grass lawns. 30 amp sites were dirt and grass, and mostly shaded. All utilities worked as expected. Not a lot for kids, although the cabins looked charming. We would stay here again, although it was a little far off of the road and expensive for what we needed.
